That's what you'll find here: real life BFP stories from ladies with real life cases of endometriosis. These kind ladies have provided their stories to let you know you're not alone, and that there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Because you're not alone. And there is a light. Really.

So check out these stories, and be sure to send us your story when it happens for you. I also highly recommend that you check out FertilAid for Women success stories for women with endometriosis. It's quite inspirational.

Had Given Up.....then BFP!!!!!

I am 39, and have been trying to conceive for over a year. 2 months ago I was referred to a fertility specialist. After preliminary tests, I was told that my chances of ever conceiving naturally were between 1-2% because of endometriosis and decreased ovarian function. I'm scheduled for a laparoscopy on Friday, which I will be more than happy to cancel. I have had no symptoms whatsoever, took a test this morning, 11 dpo, 1 day before the expected AF. Just knowing I would see a big fat negative. To my wonderful surprise, BFP!!!!!!!! 4 tests later, and it's still there!!!!! Only thing I did different, I prayed about it and then I didn't think about it at all. Don't give up ladies, no matter what they tell you.

Ladies, I got my BFP (actually I got 6 because I tested 6 times because I didn't believe it) after trying for pretty much 1 year to the day! I had a laporoscopy, ovarian drilling, cyst removal, D&C, endo removal from uterus and hysteroscopy done on the 14th August (PCOS) and this was our last month trying before we had to move on from trying naturally (I have a low egg count for my age 30). Anyway we had sex 4-5 days before I ovulated and that's it! I had to go away for work the week I actually ovulated. I got my positive OPK at the airport in transit and was devastated I couldn't take advantage of it... another month down the drain. I was expecting my period yesterday (ish) and for some reason I pee'd on stick last night (it's addictive) just before DH got home and it was flaming positive!! I actually didn't believe it. DH came into the bathroom and I was trying to tell him that I'm pregnant but I couldn't talk. He looked at the test and told me to get in the car. We went and bought 2 different tests and they both came up positive straight away. I tested again this morning with all 3 test and still BFP!! I have a Dr appointment this afternoon and I'm so nervous he's going to tell me it isn't real and that I'm actually not pregnant. Anyway I'm enjoying this for what it is today and hopefully it sticks. I'm so excited I can't even eat!! nervous. I don't feel pregnant at all except for sore boobies but I normally get that before AF anyway!! Every other 12 months we've tried I have felt some kind of silly symptom. NEVER GIVE UP!!

Pregnant After Husband Vasectomy Reversal and Me, Endometriosis!

I am elated to be able to write this, finally have a BFP after my husbands vasectomy reversal. I was beginning to think I was the hold up with my moderate to severe endo. Had Lupron shots to try and treat the endo starting last August 2011, last one was last November 2011. My cycle didn't return until May 2012. This cycle I had relatively no endo pain (odd, I'm usually hurting at least a week before period is due very badly). I didn't have any symptoms that I noticed until closer to 8dpo. After that I felt tender and full breasts and more cm. Tested positive at 10dpo with a faint line. 11dpo digital said pregnant!!!!!! I am feeling fuller in abdomen, cramps off and on.....which have rattled me at times and scared me. But, thinking positive and so grateful!!!!!!

I wanted to share my experience in getting a BFP. I am 37 and have endometriosis, so you can imagine that I was very concerned as to whether I would manage to get pregnant. After 6 months of trying and religiously following this site, I got my BFP today, the day before I was booked to have a laparoscopy done to check if my tubes were ok! For all the previous attempts I had been using OPKs but nothing was working. Then I read that sometimes you can be too late if you rely on OPKs, so this month we BD for the week leading up to my usual ovulation time rather than waiting for the OPK to show that it was time to BD. This time it worked! So beware, if relying on OPKs you might be too late. The day before the line goes blue on the test is probably the best chance. But how can you know when this is with traditional OPKs Ok symptoms: this is where I have nothing out of the ordinary to report. I was convinced that AF was on her way, the week before AF was due, I had PMT symptoms and nothing else, I was that convinced I had failed that I booked the laparoscopy. So the key thing here is that you can be pregnant without having any unusual symptoms. Not what you want to hear during 2 week wait, but at least my post can give you some hope if you have no unusual symptoms and feel just the same as when AF is due. So, today I took the test, I was 2 days late and I needed to check because I couldn't have the op tomorrow if my period hadn't started and there we go the rest is history. So older mum's out there with complications don't give up hope. A history of endo, polycystic ovaries and the removal of a cyst, not to mention my age and I finally succeeded. Good luck and baby dust to all :-)

Early Preg Symptoms

So excited to be posting on this site after obsessing over 'preg' symptoms I was having every month that were actually pms symptoms lol! Big difference this month is that my boobs do not hurt, which always happens before af. We had been trying since March after I had a laparoscopy to investigate mid cycle pain and heavy periods. Turned out I had minor endo that was behind my womb so fertility was not affected but was told to start trying for our 2nd child or go back on the pill. As it only took 1 cycle to conceive daughter was not concerned. Here we are 7 months later ttc and have finally done it. I am currently 11 dpo and my symptoms are below 1 dpo-7dpo- headaches which is unusual for me, sort throat on and off like cold was coming which never did. 8dpo- started having bad cramps and thought af was coming early :( Tested anyway and got a bfn 9dpo- big temp dip from 36.6 to 36.1 and cramps became very severe. Temp went right back up again. Tested and thought I could see a very very faint line but not much color so assumed it must be an evap line. Boooo :( 10 dpo- slightly darker line on cheapie test but still not convinced it is a bfp. 11 dpo- tested with frer with fmu and clear pink line appeared in minutes. Cue shock!!!! Confirmed with digital this afternoon that says I am 1-2 weeks. Still having bad cramps so fingers crossed this is all normal, although didn't have with my daughter! Also sore throat has returned and I am feeling very thirsty! Hoping this is a sticky bean. Baby dust to all :) xx

BFP at 14 DPO

Hi, I just received my BFP a few hours ago and I am so happy. I am 22 and have been on birth control since I was 15 (due to a history of endometriosis) back in January my husband and I decided we were ready for a baby. I immediately got pregnant in February but we sadly lost our baby April 13th at 9 weeks. We waited 3 months as recommended by my doctor before we started trying again, since July I have been religiously following this site and reading all the BFP stories. So happy to be posting my own and I hope it gives encouragement to other women.

1-8 DPO: No signs and symptoms at all
9 DPO: Throat and ears hurt like I’m getting a cold
10 DPO: Def have a cold, started antibiotics
11 DPO: White Creamy CM, and loads of drainage and chest congestion, also period like cramps before I got out of bed.
12 DPO: White Creamy CM, Feels like I have the flu (chest congestion, cough, chills, and fever)
13 DPO: More white Creamy CM and I usually start spotting today but nothing so far, Upper respiratory symptoms slack off but still have runny nose and chest congestion
14 DPO: Throat still sore, more creamy white CM, expecting AF today she hasn't arrived, took a test at 6pm when my hubby got home from work and was scared to look at it, walked off for 20 minutes, came back and it was a BFP! Took another to make sure and got another BFP!

The only thing I did different this month was tried not to be so stressed and did some nice things for myself. I bought a new car, had a few drinks and I haven’t drank since January! We also took an overnight trip the week I ovulated and BD'd like crazy that week. I followed the every other day until OPK+ and then do it two more days method. I also prayed frequently after ovulation. Today when we found out we were pregnant we prayed together for a healthy baby and I have faith that we will have our healthy baby next June.

My Pregnancy Symptoms

I have endometriosis and thought it was going to be very hard to conceive. I haven't used birth control for over a year. We just bought a house and the timing couldn't be more perfect. We tried for two months. This is the second month and I got my bfp!

13 do nothing really
14 dpo boob are sore and deal swollen
15dpo emotional, heartburn, nauseous thought it was from prenatal, boobs still sore
16 dpo nipple sore and tender, boobs swollen

Kept thinking I didn't drink that much last night. Talked to dh and asked if he thought my boobs were bigger and he was like yes I think you should test. But I started feeling slightly crampy so I thought I'm gonna start tomorrow I'll wait
18 dpo more cramping thought I'm gonna start I'll test tomorrow for sure if I don't......
19 dpo tested and got bfp! Had to take a second look cause I still thought I was gonna start any time. Very emotional today and tired, like I can't think and need a nap.
Baby dust to everyone don't give up, I almost did!

After 10 Long, Hard, Hopeless Months of PCOS and Endo, We are Finally Pregnant!

How do I even begin to write this message? I have been stunned and so in shock since getting my first faint BFP on 11dpo. That's right, our first ever! For starters, I have severe endometriosis and was also diagnosed with PCOS. I started AF when I was only ten years old (now 20) and my cycles were never regular. I would go five to six months without having AF, and then, when I would, I would have cramps so severe that I would be throwing up and passing out, sobbing, and in ridiculous amounts of pain. When I was 18 I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, after not having a period for NINE months, I went completely gluten free and lo and behold.. I started having a cycle every 40-50 days. To me that felt and seemed normal because I was only used to having a period maybe two or three times a month? I was glad to be having a "regular" period, but the more and more periods I got, the more and more sick I got and the more severe my pain was. I went to the ER one night and they found two four-centimeter cysts on my left ovary, and a smaller one on my right. Needless to say, I was in excruciating pain. I had a follow up appointment to see if the cysts had grown or not and if I needed to have them removed, and surprisingly the massive cysts were all gone. I was so confused because my back had been in serious pain right before they did the ultrasounds. Anyway, I went to the Gyno again after the tests and she said that though the cysts were gone, I had lots and lots of follicles on each ovary, and she diagnosed me with PCOS. I am very thin so she said it was rare for thin women to have PCOS, but that's what she told me. I cried every single day for about a month, so terrified that I would never be able to fulfill the biggest dream and longing of my heart, which is to be a Mom and to nurture children. As the months continued on I started to get out of control mood swings and erratic emotions, I never knew when I was going to snap and felt awful for my poor husband! I had lower back pain that got worse and worse and worse, my breasts would be extremely large and sore, and I would be bloated to the point of looking pregnant for three weeks out of the month. It has been the most agonizing journey for me! I've wanted to give up and have wept myself to sleep, prayed myself to sleep, so many nights this past year. Something in me would not die though, and I could not stop fighting and holding on to hope. When I was diagnosed with Endometriosis, my husband and I decided against a laparoscopy, and against surgery to remove anything. Keep in mind, that when I was diagnosed with Endo, we had been trying for six, seven, and eight months.

As painful as the whole thing had been, I still wanted to hold out on invasive surgeries and medication that manipulate your hormones or change the normal function of your body. The odd thing is that, though I was told I have PCOS, I KNEW every single month when I was ovulating, the pain was absolutely excruciating, which is common in Endo. We were told to start trying for a baby as soon as possible and not to stop until I got pregnant, because the longer you wait to try and conceive with Endo, the harder it gets.

So, July 28th we go to the Vitamin Shoppe and purchase VITEX, bee propolis, pycnogenol, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Rainbow Light Prenatals! I was so beyond determined. I already eat super healthy and organic, with few cheat days a month. I'd already stopped drinking Coffee because I have GERD and it hurt my teeth and made the acid so much worse. I don't drink soda, don't eat gluten, hardly any processed foods, organic/all natural dairy, SURELY something had to come of it. I started 400mg of Vitex a day, two capsules in the morning and sometimes another capsule in the evening, every other night and also started taking all of the other supplements and herbs. I also began drinking Red Raspberry Leaf tea regularly! Well, I was on all of my herbs and supplements for ONE week and I started AF, on cycle day 35!!!! Never in my life have I had a cycle that is so short! It cut my period by ten days! And I actually had a real flow, rather than two or three days of light pink spotting. We were so happy that it worked for us so quickly and that I was regulating so quickly. I kept telling myself that when I finally got pregnant that I wouldn't have any 2WW symptoms and that my PMS and Endo flares would probably be non-existent. I was right! :) I had ONE period on Vitex, and the NEXT month I was pregnant! Not even two full months and that, along with lots and lots of prayer, worked for us!

First Month Trying After Surgery for Endo!

Here's my timeline :) :
Hubby and I had been trying since October '10
Early '11 found out there's a high chance of having endometriosis, decide to wait it out a bit
April '11 found out hubby is going to be deployed later this year, decide to keep ttc, but not worry about endo for right now
Nov '11 Hubby leaves for Afghanistan
Early '12 decide with doctors to go ahead with surgery to correct my endo
March - do ultrasound, find out I have two cysts as well, put on BC until surgery in July
July - Surgery, full open belly, removes most of two cysts, does dye test and finds out left tube is moving wayy too slow

Now here comes the good stuff : Keep in mind I totally forgot to test for ovulation, so this is all a guess. I put my lmp into the "MyDays" app, and it told me I probably Ovulate on the 31st

hubs came home 2 days pre period, had sex both days until cycle started

cd 4 - dtd
cd 5 - end period
cd 6 - dtd
cd 8 - dtd
cd 11-12 - dtd, normal cm, usually a wine drinker; and the thought of wine disgusted me (from here on out)
cd 13 - 14 - very ewcm, extremely painful to have sex (endo? but seemed like it was my cervix hurting. could only use one position with low penetration) dtd both days
cd 15 - supposed ovulation, crampy, exhausted, weepy, no appetite (also day I sent husband off to Afghanistan) craving chocolate and pb, long vivid dream that night

1dpo - pinching in cervix, painful left ovary (probably from surgery), very moody, weepy, sore lower back, swollen abdomen (presumably from surgery), very thirsty, so increased urine (almost like when I have a UTI) , very hungry, oily skin and breakouts, bloody nose? I never get those. White, lotiony, sticky almost non-existent CM. High CP. lots of dreams that night

2dpo - horribly pinching cervix in the mornin, woke up tired, only want peanut butter, hip pain

3dpo - fairly normal, a little moody, nothing bad

4dpo - right bb starting to hurt on the side, very very emotional and irritated, hip pain, crampy, horrible gas, one long vivid dream about being in a hospital

5dpo - woke up with hip pain, very gassy, weepy (cried over a pin on pinterest), egg sandwich (no seasonings) made me uber sick, nautious, entire right bb hurts

6-dpo - great mood all day, more energy, right bb still hurts, feeling very "wet", crampy left ovary, vivid dreams that night

7-dpo - not too shabby mood, bb stopped hurting :(, little headache, so many pimples!, crampy left ovary at time, cry easily, took test in the middle of the day, faint positive or evap?

8dpo - faint positive or evap with fmu, very tired, BANANAS! so yummy. a little sicky if I have anything sweet to eat, smells starting to make me a little sicky. tired easily, sore hips

9dpo - bfp!!! With digital so no mistaken :D

BFP 1st & 2nd Pregnancy Symptoms via IVF

Hello everyone!

1st Pregnancy via IVF

In March 2008, I had a laparoscopy draining endometriosis (stage 3) cyst on left ovary. In June 2008 began my IVF cycle and 31 years old. I had 11 retrieved, 4 had fertilized (1 arrested) and I had 3 embryos transferred on day 3: a 4 cell, 5 cell, 6 cell and none left to freeze. The doc said they were in fair condition, that's why he transferred all of them. We were excited!

1dpt-2dpt: nothing
3dpt: mild period-like cramping, low cramps
4dpt: nothing
5dpt: went to see friend who just had baby...when I held baby, one of my nipples began to feel tingly and prickly
6dpt: sharp stabbing pain above vagina just several seconds and gone...I had to bend over (10pm)...very unusual, never felt that before and I've had some painful periods because of endo
7dpt: sharp stabbing pain on right lower pelvic region, on my bikini line, just a few seconds and gone
8dpt: clear mucousy, gel-like cm, few seconds of sharp pains on right side above hip bone- had to bend over and stop walking, faint spell of nausea and dizziness-came and went in a few minutes at night
9dpt: more clear mucousy cm, warm period-like feeling, prickling, tingling sensation in right nipple
10dpt: nothing
11dpt: feeling hopeful because I never had these symptoms before, but thought it also could be the progesterone; later feeling grumpy and discouraged
12dpt: the day I got my blood test 4 weeks 2 days since LMP and I was definitely pregnant!!! I forgot my hcg level. I did an hpt at home after I got the news and of course it was a BFP!!! In March of 2009, I gave birth to a baby girl!

2nd pregnancy via IVF ICSI

Now, I am 35 years old and endometriosis came back on left ovary. Doc retrieved 6 eggs, 5 were mature, all were ICSI'd this time, only 4 fertilized (1 arrested) and 3 were looking good on transfer day! Doc did a 2 day transfer and transferred 3 embryos, all 4 cell, grade 1 and again, none left over to freeze. Again, we were excited!

1dpt: went pee and had beige discharge in pm...probably from progesterone suppositories before the transfer and from metrogel, nips sensitive
2dpt: in early am low mild cramps and low back ache too, woke up to spontaneous orgasm and felt crampy and pressure right above vagina, cramping on & off in evening, feels tight down there, boobs tender
3dpt: cramping on & off, feeling groggy & tired, nap, in pm had a wave of nausea come over me...just a few minutes, light headache
4dpt: constipation, when walking got shooting feeling from right side, but not too sharp, but noticeable- had to stop for a second, hungry and eating a lot; white stretchy cm, light headache
5dpt: woke up again to a spontaneous orgasm from sleep-pressure down there and felt like blood rushing down there (googled this spontaneous "O" thing and it seemed to be an early sign of pregnancy for most women-gave me hope!)
6dpt: feet feel so hot and a bit swollen (I and my feet are usually always cold), vagina/cervix feels tight-uncomfortable like uti, pooped, but still constipated feeling, skin feels tender to touch, boobs tender, feeling aroused...must be all the blood down there ;)
7dpt: boobs seem less tender, didn't sleep well
8dpt: boobs less tender but feeling really full and heavy, EMOTIONAL-cried at pretty much anything, even when DD woke up from nap, just looking at her made me cry, felt really down
9dpt: woke up with headache, watched a movie and cried for MOST of it, cramping/pinching feeling, low back ache-right side, AF cramps in evening, felt like I was peeing more today, boobs look HUGE, next to little cm
10dpt: noticed sharp pain and pressure in butt, watery cm, snot-like cm too, crampy off & on, warm period-like feeling, backache left side, brief pulling/stretching feeling left side
11dpt: noticed hot feet all week, felt hot in general all week, night sweat, boobs are still HUGE and burning feeling inside them, wet feeling down there, very little cm, right lower back-like someone drilling in my back, eating like a hog, gassy for past few days too, feels tight down there
12dpt: blood test today at 3 weeks 5days since LMP: PREGNANT again!!! I am so thankful!!! I took HPT after hcg test confirmed pregnancy and it was a light positive. I had a slow rising hcg this time around, but kept taking hpt's at home...getting darker and BFP! Hcg tests confirmed good doubling 3 days later and then again 2 days later. Yay!
tummy making a lot of gurgling and bubbling sounds after lunch

I've been taking fish oil (at least 5 months), vitamin D and folic acid for several months if not close to a year.
