I'm convinced!! 12/10/2015

After 3 months, we got our BFP yesterday on CD 26... 7 times!!!! One digital was negative, but every line test I took (First Signal, Equate, and FRER) was positive! We used softcups every other night. My husband and I could not be happier, this is our first baby :) Ready to meet our little peanut in August! Praying everything goes well as I do have mild PCOS. I never thought it would happen this fast, but I have faith that prayers are definitely answered in time. My biggest symptoms right now are just headaches, frequent urination, nipples tenderness and craving Lays wavy potato chips and french onion dip. Is it normal to cramp mildly? Prayers and good luck to all TTC, just have faith!

Finally after a year and half

So being that I have PCOS, I knew it would be difficult to temp, chart and then really get down to the nitty gritty on time. My OB told me that OPK kits don't really work for me due to my Progesterone not doing what it normally should. I thought I would share my symptoms by day.

1-5 DPO-> Not really any symptoms other than my boobs started to become sore.
6 DPO-> Tested (bad girl), I knew it would be too early as implantation doesn't happen until 12-16 DPO but I had the urge. Guess what? BFP with the Dollar General Store Brand. Dark line too. I was told these were super sensitive by my OB. Didn't realize it was THAT sensitive. Still didn't get my hopes up though.
7 DPO-> Another BFP with the Dollar General Brand. That's when I called my doctor for a blood and urine test. I was really feeling any discomfort. Just really tired.
8-12 DPO-Sore Boobs, VERY TIRED, a little Nauseous, acne (which usually doesn't happen before AF), Nipples feel like they're sunburned, very gassy, and bloated.
13 DPO- Tested Negative Blood at Hospital. SO FRUSTRATED. Wanted to test but held out for my missed period.
14 & 15 DPO- Napping all day, Boobs hurt to where I can't even touch them, gassy, very bloated, NO AF.
16 DPO- Tested because I am now 2 days late. BFP on FRER at HEB at 4 PM. I surely thought it wouldn't show because it was diluted. Within 30 seconds it was positive. Took another one 20 minutes later and another BFP and it was DARKER.
17 DPO-> Another BFP at noon with again ANOTHER diluted bladder full of urine. Needless to say I will be going back to the doctor on Monday to get more blood done.

11 DPO BFP on Digital

I have had pretty much no symptoms this month, which was in stark contrast to the past 2 months where I swore I was pregnant each time, due to all to the "symptoms" I was experiencing. I guess my biggest pregnancy symptom is to have no symptoms at all haha!

Onto the story... I was not going to test until the day my period was due (2 days from now) but I decided to just POAS this morning anyways just to see. I used one of my cheap wondofo tests and immediately SAW A LINE!!! I was NOT expecting that at all. I had one expensive clear blue digital left and I just said screw it, I'm going to test with this and if it doesn't work then oh well I'll invest in more tests later....

The digital said "Pregnant" and I was floored!!!

I am letting myself be excited this time because I spent the first few weeks of my last pregnancy very anxious. That one ended in an early miscarriage at 7 weeks, not caused by the anxiety of course, but the anxiety didn't allow me to enjoy the time at all. I am going to just allow myself to enjoy however long this pregnancy is because it has taken us so long to get here and I don't want to waste another moment being anxious.

What worked for us this month:

Supplements taken daily for (at least) past 3 months:
Vitamin D3 2000 IU
Prenatal MultiVitamin
CoQ10 (ran out of this, so only took for half the month)
Probiotics 144 mg (Bio-Kult)
Magnesium Oil Spray (10-20 spritzes on legs and stomach at night)
Desiccated Grassfed Liver capsules 1500 mg

Practices:
I take my basal body temperate and chart using Fertility Friend app, but I was pretty lax on temping this month and I stopped once I saw I had ovulated
BD everyday or every other day leading up to O date.
Used preseed each time
I laid with my hips elevated for as long as I could, 5-15 mins, post BD
Exercised a lot this month (running, cycling, yoga), which I think helped keep my energy up and anxiety down

Hi everyone

I'm excited i can now post here! This is a happy story!

Second cycle TTC with POCs and somehow irregular cycles (28-33 days) with periods lasting 2-3 days.

CD1: started taking Angus Castus (1,000 mg x 1 day) plus prenatal vits

CD16: had a surge in LH according to OPK. Stopped taking Angus Castus.

CD16-CD18: had lots of sex!

CD19: had metallic taste in my mouth but deemed it as a consequence of prenatal vits

CD20: same

CD21: weird feeling of hunger without being hungry. Deemed it as prob not having eaten very well in previous days. Had sporadic lower abdomen cramps.

CD22: lower back ache. Thought it was due to standing up for too long. More sporadic cramps. Same feeling of hanger.

CD25: BFP!!!! Couldn't believe my eyes! It says 2-3 weeks from conception, not sure how!!! I got a positive even before I expected my period to be due.

I've since had some weird cramps on my left side which i have had checked in hospital but as its too early they couldnt say much- they did say I ovulated from right ovary though. Fingers crossed everything is ok with the baby!

I've also started to feel a wee pain in nipples and defo peeing more often.

Good luck to all and wish you all conceive fast!! Xx

3 failed IUI tried IVF- BFP- PCOS

I am 37 years old. Tried on our own for 6 months, added clomid/ ovidrel, 4 more months nothing.
Saw RE.
Found out I have skinny PCOS. I have alway had an issue w/ on time periods.
3 Failed IUIS. I did acupuncture, yoga, castor oil packs... FAILED.

I knew something was wrong. We went for the IVF. Something in my GUT told me to do the genetic testing PGS.

They got 15 eggs, only 6 made it to day 5. So, they tested those 6. 4 were bad!!!! So, I have 2.
I love the genetic testing. I know I am keeping frozen 2 good eggs. We know they are the same sex but, didn't ask the sex.
You only have to put ONE egg in cause you KNOW it is a GOOD EGG/blastocyst

Also, of my 4 that were bad 2 were the "higher" quality ones. So, if I didn't do the PGS I would have put a genetically messed up egg in and most likely miscarried. What they heck would you spend all the $$ for IVF and not know you are putting in a GOOD EGG?!?!

SO!!!
I was always looking for symptoms. To me I didn't have any. The only thing that was different was my boobs were tingly and bigger. I was bloated about 4-5 days after the egg went back in. They did a FROZEN transfer w/ me. Where I wait about 2 cycles for my hyper body to calm down from the meds from the Egg retrieval!

First beta was 450, next 1425! So far so good!!!

I just want to post that if you spend the $ for IVF, spend the extra for the genetic testing. It is an insurance policy so you KNOW you are putting back a good egg. If they took 15 eggs and 2 were good, and we were trying for 1.5 years... no wonder why I wasn't getting pregnant. Add to that stress, timing etc. etc.

SO!! Hang in there ladies!!!! I never thought I would be typing there.
I did acupuncture 2x a week, the day before transfer and day of.
Castor oil packs 4x a week.
Utericalm - taste nasty though
Raspberry leaf tea
Thera Natalpre Natal vitamins (ask doc for coupon code)
Maca Root in my shakes
Pineapple core
baby asprin a day
Metform for the PCOS before dinner
Fertility Yoga DVD http://www.amazon.com/Flow-Yoga-Fertility-Womens-Health/dp/B00EZVZKG4
Timing is key some of regiments so google when to do them.

I tested day 9 after transfer and got my BFP

GOOD LUCK and baby dust to ALL!

BFP 21 dpo after 3 years ttc with PCOS & low motility. 1 cycle of clomid.

Hello!

I have been stalking twoweekwait.com for about two years now and I never thought I would be sitting here and actually sharing my story. This might be a bit long for some but I hope this can help someone.

Hubby and I are in our middle 20's, how could we possibly tell our friends and family we suffer from infertility? That's not something you can tell everyone even though it would help to have more support. I quit smoking, and by the 2 year mark of ttc I was really sucked into a void of anger, sadness, despair and the feeling of utter uselessness. Booked an appointment with my gynie in September of 2014 for December of 2014. And she started me on Metformin and Pregnitude I'd take 500mg of Metformin in the morning and 1 sachet of Pregnitude in the late afternoon, and this helped tremendously with my symptoms and helped to regulate my cycle, I felt great! But still did not get pregnant after 6 months of being on it, but at least I had a pretty regular cycle.

So I went back to my gynie June of 2015 after a stressful work trip on the opposite side of the country where I hardly had sleep, got the flu twice in a period of 5 weeks! Had an ultrasound done and at least my ovaries were looking a lot better since December 2014. She asked if I'd be willing to try Clomid next, and at this point it was definitely a yes. Carried on with Metformin and Pregnitude as per normal, and lo behold I couldn't use the Clomid yet because my period decided to go haywire after that trip, So AF disappeared from end May to early October! October was another few weeks work trip but thankfully not a stressful one hubby and I went together this time. It was pretty much like a holiday, we got to go to the beach in our free time and were surrounded by the most wonderful people. My cycle came 3 days after arriving, thankfully I packed my Clomid in and I thought to myself it's now or never. Took it everyday at 11 am from CD 5-9 unsupervised (haha), had some side effects though such as lower abdominal cramping, mood swings and headaches. Dtd not digitally monitoring, wasn't completely focusing on ttc much but still keeping an eye out instead of obsessing as I'd always do and rather enjoying ourselves away from the city.

I remember getting a sharp pain in my right ovary on cd 12, for about 2 minutes. I knew this had to have been ovulation cramps! And pretty early might I add, I also noticed a lot of ewcm. The cramps never returned after that night. I started tracking from there.

1- 10 dpo: Felt nothing but a minor side effect still from the Clomid which was mood swings, other than that just my normal self.

11 dpo: Lower abdominal cramps, (felt kind of like period cramps).

12 dpo: Shooting pains pulsating up in the morning, and this very odd tickling sensation below my navel in the evening, felt like someone was stroking a feather inside my uterus.

13 dpo: Had a very intense dream this evening, lower abdominal cramps. Started shivering with goosebumps at night even though it's very hot.

14 dpo: Another intense crazy dream, lower abdominal cramps, and shivers with goosebumps at night.

15 dpo: Another totally messed up dream, lower abdominal cramps and shivers with goosebumps at night.

16dpo: Lower abdominal cramps uuugh, shivers with goosebumps ended.

17 dpo: Period like cramps, highly irritable.

18 dpo: Had a dream of pregnancy, and a baby. Period like cramps.

19 dpo: Period like cramps, irritable to no end.

20 dpo: Still cramping, very annoying, feeling hungry.

21 dpo: Lower abdominal cramps, boobs starting to hurt and BFP in under 10 seconds!

It took me 3 days to finally come post because I just couldn't believe it! I'm still struggling to believe it happened to me. Thank you for reading my story, and wishing all you ttc'ers good luck and baby dust to you all, don't give up yet. I was going to ttc till December and look into other options because I couldn't handle it anymore. And I got lucky, I just wish I could give you all a big box filled with hope, hugs and compassion. I needed a lot of that with our journey. I also switched to a better multivitamin (Viridian) 2 months ago, and have also been taking an extra high 5 B-Complex with Magnesium Ascorbate (Viridian) for 2 months where as I used to only take a regular B-Complex, I don't know if that helped, but felt worth mentioning.

BFP with timed intercourse and thin uterine lining after miscarriages and Asherman's Syndrome diagnosis

I've waited almost 5 months to share my BFP story because I wanted to make sure I didn't miscarry again (that happened to me on this site). I am now 6 months pregnant. My goal in sharing this story is to give hope to other people who have had similar experiences with ovulation issues (possible PCOS diagnosis), miscarriage, Asherman's syndrome and multiples.

It's too complicated to give all of the details (yes, I used pre-seed, ovulation predictor kits, every kind of pregnancy test, charted my temperature, etc.), but here's a summary:
November 2013 - started trying to conceive naturally with my husband, but noticed I wasn't getting my period or ovulating
February 2014 - took clomid prescribed by OB
March 2014 - first BFP on first round of clomid
April 2014 - found out that it was a blighted ovum at a 7 week ultrasound and had an uncomplicated D&C at 8 weeks
June 2014 through January 2015 - took clomid 6 more times total, noticed that my periods were extremely light and almost non-existent, complained multiple times to OB about my lack of period, but was told it was not an issue
November 2014 - second BFP which turned out to be a chemical pregnancy (got my non-existent period about a week late)
January 2015 - started seeing an REI for infertility work up, everything looked normal except for my uterine lining; on a sonohysterogram, the REI thought I had a polyp and scheduled a hysteroscopy to remove it
February 2015 - diagnosed with moderate Asherman's Syndrome (aka intrauterine scarring) during the hysteroscopy; cause of Asherman's Syndrome was the D&C from the previous year (this is a rare complication from an early pregnancy D&C)
March 2015 - second hysteroscopy to treat the scarring
April 2015 - third hysteroscopy to check whether more scarring should be removed, was given the green light to try to conceive again after taking estrogen to build up my lining for another month
May 2015 - induced period with progesterone, then used femara (aka letrozole) and follistim and an ovidrel trigger shot to try to conceive through timed intercourse; at the doctor's visit before taking the trigger shot I was told that there was very little chance of getting pregnant that cycle even though I had lots of mature follicles because my uterine lining was only measuring 3.1mm (and 5mm the following day - they made me check again) and that I would likely need another hysteroscopy; we did the trigger shot anyway and had timed intercourse 36 hours later...
June 2015 - third BFP

Details of third BFP:
DPO 7 - breast tenderness
DPO 10 - partial ovarian torsion (very painful), generally did not feel well
DPO 11 (aka DPT 13) - BFP on my 35th birthday, pregnancy line was quite dark
DPO 12 - extremely sore breasts, hurt to shower, this lasted on and off for several weeks
DPO 13 - lots of spotting and cramping (this also lasted on and off for several weeks), serious paranoia about having another chemical pregnancy
DPO 14 - HCG level (from blood test at doctor's office) was 576; upon reflection, this was probably the first indication that there were multiples
DPO 16 - HCG level had more than doubled to 1,317
7 weeks - at the first ultrasound, I discovered there were 3 heartbeats; 2 of them were identical twins that would share a placenta but had separate sacs; I had a pretty significant bleed on and off for about 3 days right after the ultrasound and was again paranoid about miscarriage, but all 3 heartbeats were still there at subsequent doctor's visits
11 weeks - CVS testing of both placentas for genetic issues
13 weeks - multifetal pregnancy reduction of the identical twins based on decision that it would be too risky to carry all of them, I still think about them everyday

Can't wait to meet my baby. Don't give up.

First BFP after 2 years of TTC

In the 2 years we were trying to conceive, I've been on this site many times to read about other people's experiences and it really helped me pick myself up during all those low moments and keep trying. This morning, I finally got the elusive 2nd line! I hope my story can help other people out there struggling with infertility to stay strong and keep fighting on this tough journey.

A bit of background, I'm 30 with PCOS, my husband is 38 with low sperm count. We've been trying to conceive since we got married 2 years ago. During these 2 years, we've had many cycles of disappointment. I had a surgery to remove an ovarian cyst. My husband took many vitamins to improve his count. We tried IUI once and it failed. Finally, we decided to stop wasting time and just go for IVF which had the best chance of working.

Due to my PCOS and high AMH, the doctor was worried that I would get OHSS, so he recommended a Lupron trigger and a freeze all cycle. We ended up with 11 good quality blastocysts all frozen on day 5. I recovered from the egg retrieval quickly and the next month we did FET #1 with 1 blastocyst rated 4AB, this cycle was a BFN. We were very disappointed. The doctor said everything looked good, it just didn't work. He told us to stay positive and that my chance is quite good. Since we didn't do PGD, it was likely just not a normal embryo despite looking great.

We went straight into FET#2 in the following month. Transferred 1 blastocyst again, another 4AB. Here are my symptoms:

Transfer Day - very smooth and painless transfer, no cramping at all afterwards. Went to the bathroom right after, did not lie down at all.
1dp5dt - no cramping, breasts are sore but have been since starting progesterone 6 days ago, very little cm.
2dp5dt - breasts still sore, no cm
3dp5dt - a little cramping, definitely noticeable but not the same as af cramp. Breast still sore. Noticed that cervix is higher when inserting the progesterone suppositories
4dp5dt - no more cramping, watery cm, breasts sore, cervix still high
5dp5dt - stronger cramps (not the same as af, more like muscle spasm below the belly button) for a few hours. Watery cm, breasts sore, cervix still high
6dp5dt - no more cramps, lower back sore, watery cm, started having shooting stabbing pain on the side of breast randomly throughout the day. Cervix high.
7dp5dt - BFP on Wonfo test strip. The second line is lighter than the control line but it is clear and pink, definitely no squinting.

It's still early so I'm cautiously excited. To everyone struggling out there, just know that you are not alone and it CAN happen, truly!
