Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives

BFP with Preseed

Pre-Seed, the sperm-friendly lubricant (and only lube that should be used while trying-to-conceive) is a staple of the TTC community. We love it, and we'd hazard a guess that all these ladies on this page with BFPs speak highly of it as well!

If you don't have Pre-Seed yet, we recommend you pick some up at Early-Pregnancy-Tests.com. It ships for free anywhere in the U.S. or Canada, and comes with free pregnancy tests. Can't beat that. And when you get your Pre-Seed assisted BFP and you're ready to give credit where credit is due, by all means, send us your symptoms here!

It will happen to you to! BFP at 9dpo!!!!!!

My husband and I have been trying to conceive since March of this Year. Like many others I thought it would be a super fast process and became really anxious when it didn't happen on the first try. What I really believe helped me this cycle was that I stopped taking my prenatal's and other vitamins (Vitamin B) (I am a firm believe that they were messing with my cycle) I confirmed this through monitoring my BBT temp and OPKS. I also feel like a big key player was drinking grapefruit Juice non-contrate from the end of my period to O day. I also ate pineapple Core from O day to 5dpo. I honestly did not thing this month would be it! As I did everything contrary to what most people do when they get their BFP's. In fact I was sure this month was not it that I finally decided to got through with getting my Colposcopy and cervical biopsy (which i had been putting off since last month after my abnormal pap) at 7dpo. They tested me for pregnancy but it was negative... i finally got my BFP at 9dpo... What I used in the previous months that I got BFN's: 1. Preseed- cycles 3-5 2. Prenatals cycles 1-5 3. Softcups-cycle 4 only 4. Temping Cycles 3-5 5. OPKS Cycles 3-5 6. Vitamin B6 & B12 7. Green Tea 8.Stopped drinking coffee cycles 1-5 9.Laying in bed after intercourse and different positions TMI---- i feel like in previous months it would all come out so fast this month the sperm stayed over night until the next day, my guess is the increased muccous helped retention? who knows. What I did different this month: ALOT OF PRAYERS! 1. Stopped taking prenatal vitamins 2. Drank Grapefruit Juice -non concentrate from the last day of AF to O day----- this SIGNIFICANTLY increased my cervical mucous. I would rather drink Grapefruit Juice than take EPO because I have read EPO messes with your cycle. 3. Exercised (not too extreme) i went on walks with hubby every evening to take my mind off things. I also made sure to do abs since I read somewhere that having a stronger core helps with conception? anyway this helped me stay distracted more thank anything. i also ate semi healthy.. 4. I consumed Pineapple Core from O day to 5DPO 5. Preseed i'm not sure this helped as i had used it for 2 cycles before without success. 6. Green tea occasionally 7. people say to relax but i don't ever relax i'm always on the go and thinking about things so instead of "relaxing" i kept busy and my mind off things. SYMPTOMS 1DPO-7DPO vivid dreams 7DPO to today 11DPO- peeing a lot, hot flashes, and waking up in the middle of the night to pee and feeling wide awake. other than these symptoms i have nothing else. no sore breasts or anything else. I hope this helps someone out there! Baby dust to you all!

BFP after 4yrs TTC, PCOS & 3 cycles Clomid!

I'm in total shock! It's still early days but I'm celebrating each day as it is. I've had one chemical pregnancy before in 2010, and I wouldn't have known if I didn't test early. I've tested early again because I had a feeling. I'm crossing my fingers for a sticky little one! I haven't ovulated for over four years. We've been trying to conceive for four years with no luck whatsoever. I started seeing a fertility specialist at the start of the year. I've had two cycles of 50mg Clomid, and no ovulation. I'm on my third cycle of Clomid, first cycle of 100mg. I ovulated! I had a blood test two days ago. It showed a progesterone level of 26, which my doctor says is fine. I was excited about ovulating, so despite being only 8dpo yesterday.. I tested with cheapies and got a super faint line. I wasn't sure it was real cause it had no colour and was barely there. This morning I took a First Response test and got a faint pink line!?!?! Here is my info that I gathered using the Glow app: CD16 - I got my first ever Peak symbol on the Clear Blue Dual Hormone Fertlity monitor. CD17 - OVULATION DAY! Mild headache, indigestion, nausea and pelvic pain. Moderate cramps and backache. Severe constipation. CD18/1dpo - Mild backache, headache, sore boobs and pelvic pain. Moderate cramps. CD19/2dpo - Mild backache. Moderate sore boobs and cramps. CD20/3dpo - Mild insomnia. Moderate sore boobs, bloating, fatigue, and pelvic pain. Severe hot flashes, backache, appetite and cramps. CD21/4dpo - Mild insomnia. Moderate sore boobs, constipation, bloating and pelvic pain. Severe hot flashes, headache, backache and cramps. I went to hospital on this day because I was in so much backache and cramping pain that I thought I had developed OHSS! I hadn't. An ultrasound showed a corpus luteum! (The leftovers from the ovulated egg, which supplies progesterone to the embryo until the placenta takes over. So, good sign!) CD22/5dpo - Mild nausea and insomnia. Moderate feeling sick (I had lots of mouth ulcers due to lowered immune system which happens at ovulation and/or early pregnancy), indigestion, fatigue and sore boobs. Severe cramps, constipation, backache, bloating, headache, hot flashes and pelvic pain. CD23/6dpo - Mild cramps and hot flashes. Moderate headache, bloating and backache. Severe sore boobs and constipation. CD24/7dpo - Mild pelvic pain, hot flashes, backache, appetite and constipation. Moderate headache. Severe cramps. CD25/8dpo - Mild pelvic pain, insomnia, headache and constipation. Moderate cramps, appetite and hot flashes. Severe sore boobs. CD26/9dpo - Mild cramps, bloating, fatigue, headache and pelvic pain. Moderate backache. Severe sore boobs. I'm hoping for a very sticky baby and a healthy and happy nine months of pregnancy. Please God, give us this blessing. Notes: I used Preseed every time we babydanced. I took Metformin 500mg three times a day, Clomid 100mg from cycle days 2-6, CoQ10, Pre-conception Vitamins, Probiotic, double folic acid dose (800mg), vitamin C and Zinc, and 400mg Myoinositol twice a day. I kept my feet warm all the time. (Apparently keeps uterus warm) I did femoral artery massage, which is what I think helped a lot! Youtube it! I drank Pomegranate juice around ovulation and for a few days after. I tried to eat and drink mostly warm food stuffs. Never anything freezing cold. (Apparently keeps uterus warm) I inserted my menstrual cup/Moon Cup after sex with hubby, to keep sperm in. Similar to soft cups, but cheaper and reusable. I lay with my legs up the wall and a pillow under my butt.

ZERO symptoms and BFP after 11 months

I am still in shock and absolutely certain (this is me being paranoid) that it won't stick...because this has been such a difficult process from the start...but I FINALLY got my BFP!!! This website was SO helpful with easing my anxiety each month, and I wanted to share my own story with the community to, maybe, help someone else who is having a tough time. At about months 8 and 9, the 2 week wait anxiety had really fizzled for me. I figured that a BFP was less, rather than more, likely to happen. I had taken a "temp tracking" and "supplement" break for month 7, which really helped me to get out of the symptom-spotting cycle. I stopped obsessively looking at my calendar, only opening it to put in my BBT each morning (5AM so I was still mostly sleeping, which made it easy not to obsess over it). This month was literally just like every other month, except for a few details, which I will get to below. For starters, this was my regimine almost every month (except month 7): Prenatals since month 1 Vitamin D since month 3 (because it was in my drawer) Evening primrose oil and licorice root tea from day 1 of cycle until ovulation since month 5 (to help with CM) Omega 3 and B612 since month 6 (to help with CM) Preseed since month 6 (to help with CM) I had also cut back on my exercise, ate organic and healthfully, and gained 10 pounds over the last year in prep for pregnancy. I also took my temp every morning without fail since month 2 (except for month 7) because OPKs never showed up positive. I had my annual Gyno visit month 9 and mentioned what we had been doing so far. I am 30 BTW. She immediately ordered our initial fertility blood work and tests, stating that with our tracking and health she would expect us to have had some success. She also said that all the tests take a few months and why not go into the 12th month with the knowledge we need if we need it. She also mentioned clomid if all tests came back normal, saying that my size and lack of CM could mean low estrogen. My blood work came back 100% normal with estrogen on the slightly low side of normal. My HSG (this month) was uncomfortable with the LEFT tube taking a little but of time to open. DH hasn't even done his SA yet! I actually attribute this BFP to the HSG more than anything else!!! The only other thing I did differently this month was try to pineapple core trick...I made it 2 days and forgot the rest! So my TWW...as I said, I was not tracking or symptom spotting. -5 & 8 DPO: had erratc BBT temps...huge dips...maybe inplantation dip. I actually swore I was out this month with how erratic my temps were! -10 DPO: sore/swollen boobs, AF-like cramps, and weepiness started...like clockwork...just like every month when AF is on her way...literally NOTHING else! 14 DPO: I was so convinced that AF was on her way that I was in full "witch with a B" mode with some crying sprinkled on top. -15 DPO: my BBT didn't drop...in-fact, at 97.9 F, it was the highest it's ever been without having been sick or having a drink the night before. SO...just like a million times before...I took a pregnancy test, expecting a BFN, just like every other month. I really just took it just to shake the nagging feeling I would get at > 14 DPO (this has happened on more than 1 month up to 17 days, still getting a BFN!). Well, to my surprise, it was a BFP!!!! The line was not as dark as the control line, but it was also not a line I had to squit at to see...it was clearly there! On 15 DPO, I also started getting dry mouth, and peeing more frequently, but this was after my BFP and I don't know if it was in my head. I am now at 17 DPO with no further symptoms (maybe some very slight nausea, but I am thinking it in my head). I have taken a pregnancy test every day to make sure it wasn't a fluke! I took a digital this afternoon just to make myself feel better...it helped to see the word "pregnant" and not worry that I am misinterpreting the lines on the other tests! The reason I wanted to share this...well...if it's going to happen it's going to happen. I have literally bent over backwards trying to get pregnant for 11 cycles. In some ways my anxiety has served me. I have been driven to research to make sure that I have taken the right supplements and that I have added the right things to my regimine (preseed) based on my own needs. Ultimately, though, for me, it took having a HSG for me to get my BFP. My dream for everyone in this community who is still trying is that you find a way to enjoy this process, that you smile daily, and that you feel grateful for your significant other whom you love and get to share this life and jorney with. It is not easy, but if you can find a way to not obsess, it will be a lot easier and more enjoyable.

BFP with Femara, PCOS, and Endometriosis

I am so excited to share my news of my BFP!!! I know it is still early but this site has been so helpful for getting through the tww! Me:28 DH: 35 Cycles: 9 Sorry for the long story! Skip to the end for symptoms. In October 2015, we decided to start a family and had my Mirena removed. Three days later, I started having terrible back pain and was diagnosed with a kidney stone. After a week with no relief, I went to the ER and had an emergency CT scan which found a tumor that was cutting off my ureter-I went for surgery three days later and they found that it was endometriosis. After a year long battle, I ended up having a serious surgery to remove part of my ureter that was damaged, my appendix, and had a laparoscopy to remove stage 2 Endo. My left ovary was stuck to my side with Endometriosis and my surgeon was amazing and able to save it. During my surgery, my surgeon suspected that I had PCOS because of the small cysts on my ovaries. We tried for 6 months on my own, but when I realized that I wasn't ovulating every month I went to my OBGYN. He is amazing and recommended me to go to an RE. My RE sent me for a full panel of bloodwork, which came back fine but he confirmed that my symptoms met PCOS. I was placed on Metformin, Vitamin D3, vitamin E, CoQ10, and Femara. The first two cycles of Femara I tried 5 mg days 3-7, with no success. This last cycle I was placed on Femara 7.5 mg days 4-8. Things I did differently this cycle: Pineapple 1 dpo-5dpo Pomegranate juice 1 dpo-5dpo Femara 7.5 mg days 4-8 I used OPKs to confirm ovulation as well as bbt. We BD everyday (sometimes twice a day) CD 10-16 CD 16- ovulation CD 17/1 dpo-Loose bms, very frequent bms, cramping, gassy 2 dpo- cramping 3 dpo- none 4 dpo- gassy, skin break out, progesterone check came back at 19.6 5 dpo- cramps, gassy, increased appetite, shooting pain in my breasts 6 dpo- cramps, bloated, gassy, headache, increased appetite, slight nausea 7 dpo- bloated, gassy, headache 8 dpo- cramps, heartburn, bloated, gassy, skin broken out 9 dpo- cramps, heartburn, BFN 10 dpo- heartburn, gassy, increased appetite, skin broken out 11 dpo- bloated, constipated, gassy, headache, BFN 12 dpo- bloated, skin broken out, sore nipples, BFN 13 dpo- bloated, skin broken out, sorry nipples 14 dpo- sore nipples, BFP!!!!!!!!!

BFP After First Ovidrel Injection!

Hello ladies! I have read so many of your stories and symptoms since my husband and I began TTC in March, and now I get to share my own story and symptoms. Hopefully some of you will be able to gain some insight from it and some hope as well. I turned 39 years old last month, so time was of the essence for DH and me. We were married this spring, and while he has children from a previous marriage, we want one together. By all accounts I am a healthy woman with the exception of borderline hypothyroidism for which I take a low dose of medicine. My cycles were like clockwork until DH and I started TTC ( go figure ). For a couple of months I had short cycles and intermittent bleeding. By my third TTC cycle things seemed to straighten themselves out, but the doctor still wanted to do an ultrasound just to check things out. It was during that visit, during our fourth TTC cycle, that my doctor said I was a good candidate for the Ovidrel trigger shot. She said I had a mature follicle we could trigger to ovulate and DH and I could time our BDing. If you're unfamiliar with trigger shots, they're hCG shots that do exactly what they sound like, trigger ovulation. After getting the shot, I went home and, of course, researched the heck out of it. The trigger shots give you a positive pregnancy test, so many women "test out." This involves taking a pregnancy test every day or two to evaluate when the hCG is out of your system. Once you get a negative test, you can feel fairly confident it has run its course and you can begin to test for a true positive result. So I did that. By the way, I used FRER because they're supposed to be the most sensitive test on the market, and I thought they would give me a good indication when the Ovidrel was really out of my system. My tests, though, never truly turned negative. The test line grew lighter and lighter each day, and by 8 dpo/10 dpt the line was so faint I was convinced I would get a stark white, negative test the next day. Only, I didn't. In fact, the test line the next day was ever so slightly darker than the day before. At 10 dpo, the line was darker. At 11 dpo it was slightly darker than the day before. I called my doctor at 10 dpo and I went in for a beta test at 11 dpo. By this morning, at 12 dpo/15 dpt, my test was twice as dark as two days ago! I got the call from my doctor this afternoon who confirmed an early pregnancy, and she said today's darker test line was a good sign! I'll go for another beta tomorrow!! I never thought, at 39, I would get pregnant after just 4 cycles, but I did! I feel so fortunate! I definitely attribute our conception to the trigger shot. I would also like to note, I was using OPKs and getting positive tests, but I think they were off, or perhaps it was operator error. haha! Just days before the ultrasound and subsequent trigger shot, I had two positive OPKs. I told my doctor this, and she said they can be difficult to read and not always accurate. I had not been having EWCM since we've been TTC, like I normally have had all my life (another go figure), so that's one reason why I used the OPKs. (I also didn't really start temping like I should until our third TTC cycle. ) Nevertheless, I think DH and I were missing the actual ovulation. If I had not had that ultrasound DH and I would have missed yet another ovulation cycle. In addition to the trigger shot, we used PreSeed. I also drank a cup of decaf green tea each day which is supposed to help ovulation from what I've read. I also drank each day a fruit smoothie that included a cup of whole fat yogurt, raspberries, blueberries and half a banana. I increased leafy greens. I also took a prenatal vitamin. Good luck to everyone! Never lose hope. Here are my symptoms. Some of these could be contributed to the trigger shot, but the symptoms beginning at 9 dpo - I think - are true pregnancy symptoms. 1 dpo / 3 dpt - Nada 2 dpo / 4 dpt - headache 3 dpo / 5 dpt - creamy cm, 4 dpo / 6 dpt - creamy cm, crampy feeling 5 dpo / 7 dpt - creamy cm, bloated 6 dpo / 8 dpt - creamy cm, cramps (implantation?), bloated, gassy, irritable 7 dpo / 9 dpt - creamy cm 8 dpo / 10 dpt - creamy cm, tender BBs, heartburn, bloated This is the day I got a VVVVFL on the FRER test. I thought for sure the next day the line would be gone indicating Ovidrel was gone. 9 dpo / 11 dpt - FRER test was slightly darker than 8 dpo. creamy cm, tender breasts, heartburn, bouts of dizziness, increased appetite - I woke up ravenous. I HAD TO snarf down a Belvita breakfast biscuit packet before I could make my stepchildren breakfast. The hunger was so intense I couldn't wait. In addition to the darker FRER test on this day, my intense hunger made me think something was up because I am NEVER hungry like that. 10 dpo / 12 dpt - FRER test even darker than 9 dpo. Tingly nipples, cramps, tender breasts, heartburn, frequent urination - I was really beginning to wonder if I could be pregnant at this point.

Natural BFP at 43

I was lurking and promising myself like others that if successful I would share what I did to get here. I conceived my DS at 39 with no issue and was 40 when he was born. I knew though that trying for a second would be a very uncertain road at my age. Looking back we were really lucky to conceive after only about 16 months of concerted effort. During that time I had two failed IVF cycles and travelled long haul for work away from my husband for seven 3 week trips and missed quite a few opportunities making the outcome even luckier, statistically speaking. I also trawled the internet, consulted a snake oil naturopath, charted, and took a buttload of supplements to help regulate my cycle. These included vitamins B (group) C, D, E (tocotrienols as well as tocopherols), magnesium myo-inositol, alpha lipoic acid, vitex, ubiquinol and red maca. I also ate two eggs for breakfast every day (gross!). I also cut out all alcohol and caffeine and soy and cold drinks and gee life was dull. As I added more and more to the daily mix it was interesting to see the effects. My BBT became much more stable and predictable and easier to map to my ovulation symptoms. My luteal phase lengthened slightly from 7or 8 days to 9 or 10. The follicular phase actually lengthened, annoyingly. The long weeks of jet lag from the 10 hour time differences made it harder too but I doubt they had much impact in the end. In the end I would put my money on the ubiquinol (500mg daily before tapering down to 200mg per day) and the red maca. Gross but I think that's what did it. A small disclaimer that I had a high AMH and low FSH at 42, and am in good physical shape. BFP Symptoms were same as all the BFN cycles (headaches, cramps, bloating) except for tender nipples from 6DPO, same as other pregnancy. Squinter BFP on IC at 11DPO when temps stayed up. Lines gradually got stronger then two strong lines 13DPO on FRER. Am now at 35 weeks and 4 days after a complication-free pregnancy. Tired and looking forward to welcoming LO to the outside not long before I turn 44. Wishing all of you the best of luck.

How I did it - Vitamins & OPK

I received my BFP two days ago, and honestly thought I was out for this month because I felt barely any symptoms. I am a 34(avg) day cycle kind of gal and ovulated on day 18/19 of my cycle Last year we tried a few times and nothing gave, but I never used an opk, charted my temp, vitamins, nothing! So we started back up again recently and this is how it happened. It was my second month ttc, first month I used pregprep kit from walgreens and it didnt work, in addition to prenatal vitamins. Thanks to this site and others, I developed a little recipe of vitamins after tons of research I picked out some that I felt were most beneficial for both of us to take. I didnt go crazy, I didnt even do the full dosage and I never had EWCM during my fertile time but I trusted the OPK. From the second day of my period (forgot on the first day) .... ( I did take BBT but I was really bad at remembering it every morning and my times were never consistent but I managed to do it enough to see the O dip and rise) but I stopped after that. I started taking MACA capsules 2x a day (525mg), EPO 2x a day (500mg), Royal Jelly/Bee Pollen Capsules 2x a day (200mg), COQ10 2x a day (100mg) and my one a day prenatal. My SO followed the same routine as me but left out the EPO (duh) and took his MENS Active One a day vitamin. I took the EPO till day ovulation, continued the rest till BFP. I started using the opk 4 days before and tested once a day, and we BD every day of the flashing smiley which last two days once I got it, than the third day was a solid smiley. We did miss a day of BD two days before O but we did it every day and some times in the morning till two days after. We used pressed twice too but i don't care for that stuff too much so only as needed and externally. On months where I wasn't pregnant I felt more "prego" type symptoms than i did this month.. which was totally strange to me and the reason I thought I was out. The day of O I had horrible cramps and luckily we dtd that morning because my cramps and severe lower back pain came at night. It was miserable. day of O - painful cramps, and back ache day after O -AF type cramps and still some o pain 2dpo - fluttering in left side of ovary and af cramps 3dpo - huge glob of white cm (looked like ewcm) 4dpo- swollen bbs, fluttering and ovary twinges 5dpo - yellow cm and swollen bbs 6dpo- horrible headache, stomach twinges and leg cramps 7dpo- same 8dpo- tons of cm, painful bb, af cramps 9dpo- ovarys hurt, little cm, weird tingles in nipples and vivid dream 10dpo- nothing unusual, thought I was out for the month, bbs still swollen 11dpo- af cramps and other cramping in stomach 12dpo- nothing different 13dpo- watery cm 14dpo- watery cm, bb hurt worse now, and af cramps 15dpo- tested at 1:30pm and it was instantly a BFP slightly faint but very easily distinguished. Tested again before bed and there it was again. The symptom that made me suspicious was the CM. I never have tons of it like that. Also, the day after O I had AF cramps, that was new also. Good luck and baby dust to all! I do believe the vitamins helped us both and don't forget plenty of water!!

I think I finally believe it

I used opk's to figure out when I ovulated and we BD all the time so definitely did that the same day. About 4 dpo I noticed flutters in my tummy and learned about early pregnancy factor. Previously I thought you couldn't experience symptoms before implantation, I was wrong. 7 dpo I had light cramping which continued to 9 dpo. Cm has been unusually little. Cp has been high, hard and closed since 3 dpo 9 dpo my breasts started getting sore and this has continued through today at 11 dpo. 9 dpo was my first Bfp I think. I did a wondfo with fmu and forgot to look at it. 8 hours later there was a faint line, so I did another one that afternoon which looked like a very faint positive. 10 dpo I did a wondfo and an Ept, both faint positives. I told DH who seems excited. 11 dpo this morning I did a store brand "6 days sooner" which is a clear bfp. Still trying to wrap my head around it. I had my paraguard copper iud removed three months ago and I admit I was a bit pessimistic. I usually have a very predictable 28 day cycle but since my IUD was removed I'm closer to 31 days. I'm still worried this will turn out to be a chemical or I will miss carry. My mom miscarried a few times, I haven't told her yet. I'm excited and scared. This is the first time I've ever been pregnant. I've been on a prenatal vitamin for three months. Learned to use opk's. We used preseed during fertile window. I use the clue app for tracking. I've been eating breakfast (used to just drink a cup of coffee). Exercising slightly less, I used to go to the gym five days a week and now I go three. I hope those still looking for their bfp's find them :)

Bfp after miscarriage, no symptoms

Well guys I'm back.... I wrote my first ever bfp story back in February but I ended up miscarrying at 9 weeks in April and now I'm finally back with my bfp story! Just hoping for a good outcome this time. On April 6th we found out our babies heart stopped beating so we opted to induce a miscarriage... it was a rough month to say the least. My hcg numbers finally went to 0 on April 29th and I told my doctor I wanted to try again right away. Instead of waiting for a period we started our second round of clomid that day which would count at cycle day 3. I got a positive ovulation test on the night of cycle day 15 and the morning of 16 and noted cramping on cycle day 16 in the evening. Also I want to mention we had a saline ultrasound on cycle day 14. Cycle day 14- baby dance - saline ultrasound (not sure if that kills the swimmers) Cycle day 15- baby dance/ positive opk Cycle day 16 baby dance positive opk Cycle day 17 baby dance 2 dpo I noted I took a nap 3 dpo I noted I took a nap 4 dpo nothing 5 dpo nothing 6 dpo nothing 7 dpo nothing 8 dpo I noted cramping 9 dpo nothing 10 dpo nothing neg test 11 dpo nothing took test and line turned up hours later not sure what to think 12 dpo nothing slightest line keeps showing up on all test feel like I'm just wanting to see it so bad but had one test that was so convincing I called the doctor for a blood test. Took a FRER late at night and see a faint faint line but much fainter than the cheap tests I've been taking and husband says there's no line. Start thinking I'm out 13 dpo have to wake up early for blood test almost didn't go thinking I'm out. Doctor called that day and said positive blood test but very weak hcg only 12 14 dpo I still have no symptoms but I'm starting to actually feel pregnant like there's something there.... hard to explain but you have to remember I was pregnant only a few months ago 15 dpo today I did another blood test and my numbers have doubled... things are looking good right now so I'm praying I get to keep this baby I have NO symptoms..... I'm only tired but I'm also on progesterone suppositories which could be the culprit.

Felt basically the same as all the BFN months!

Hello! I am so overjoyed to be posting my BFP story! I hope everyone reading this gets one soon as I know it can be very stressful! These stories gave me some hope so I hope it does the same for you :) Background: I went on BC pills at age 14 after only having maybe 5 periods and when I started BC my periods stopped. Flash forward 15 years and I am 29 marrying the love of my life and we are both super excited to be parents. I went off birth control and two months later my period returned but it was super light. I was very worried. 1st month we had a chemical pregnancy. Then nothing for month two, three and four. My periods were still very light and we were not getting a BFP despite the fact I was trying everything I could think of. Things I tried: I was taking Vitamin B, Vitamin E, Evening Primrose Oil first two weeks then Flax Oil, and Prenatal vitamins. I also cut back substantially on exercise (I'm a distance runner). I drank lots of red raspberry tea and I didn't drink or eat anything that was cold. I used a hot water bottle on abdomen and was always heating my feet (I have Reynaud's disorder). I started weekly acupuncture after three months of trying. I cut out spicy food (as recommended by my accupunturest). I also used softcups (month two and three), used preseed (month three, four and five) and also started temping (month 5). My DH and I also cut out alcohol and coffee when we started ttc in January. After three month's of ttc I started to get really depressed. I made a huge mistake telling my friends and family that we were ttc. Then everyone was always asking me are you pregnant yet? Which was a dagger to my hart because I wanted it so badly and was trying so hard. Then when I would say no, they would often launch into all the stories of people they know who got pregnant right away. This made me feel so down I totally stopped seeing all my friends and family. Then my cousin told me to just tell everyone we are taking time off ttc right now, so I did and bam BFP. Symptoms: Ovulation day: No fertile CM (normal for me) 1-6dpo: A fair amount less CM then usual. 7dpo: Lots of watery CM, light cramping and soar back (normal pre-period symptoms for me). Gums bled when brushing teeth (never happens). 8 dpo: Major dip in my bbt but I have never done this before, so I thought I just did it wrong. 9-10 dpo: Soar boobs, light cramping and a bit moody (all pre-period symptoms) I told my DH that we are out this month and that we should start drinking again during week 1 and 2 of each cycle. He agreed! 11 dpo: Decided I wanted to drink this weekend so I took a FRER and OMG!!!!!! Is that a second line??? My poor DH was in the other bathroom and I was banging on the door crying saying I think it's positive!!! Come look! It was positive and the line has been getting darker everyday :) Things I did that I think helped: - I removed a lot of stress this month but saying I wasn't ttc anymore to friends and family. - I continued with accupuncure and listened to her health recommendations. -DH and I started having Kale and coconut shakes every morning. -DH and I started drinking two tbs of apple cider vinegar mixed with hot water, honey and cinnamon each night. -Consistently used Preseed. -This was the first month we tried Sperm Meets Egg Plan. - Using digital ovulation tests. Sorry this is so long! I hope it helps someone :) Lots of baby dust to everyone! Wish me luck that this little one sticks around :)
