Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives

Proved the doctors wrong!

Hi All. I conceived my little belly bean exactly 4 weeks ago today (17th Jan- I'm now technically 6 weeks pregnant), and what a surprise that was. I have very badly polycystic ovaries and had only had a period once every few months for the last 2-3 years, the doctors advised me about 18 months ago that I would probably find it difficult conceiving naturally and that it potentially wouldn't ever happen for me. Anyways January was the first month we had tried... I got a positive OPK on 17th Jan and it was first time lucky, so ner ner doctors! :) 1dpo - Sore boobs started straight away and has got progressively worse every day- it was like hormonal AF boob pain at first but then within 2-3 days became that agonising I couldn't lay on my front or cuddle my other half. I knew I was pregnant from this alone! 3dpo- Felt extremely frisky?! 7dpo- Very bad back ache 8dpo- Extremely emotional and angry fir no reason, bloated, craving ALL the bad foods 9dpo- Absolutely exhausted. Tried a cheap ebay dip pregnancy test knowing it was too early- BFN 10dpo- Other half took me away for a dirty weekend which was ruined by my constant napping- very unlike me and we both knew at this point something was different! I had never felt so tired in my life- this fatigue has also carried on since this point! 11dpo- Cheap dip pregnancy test BFN. We were both a little sad. 12dpo- I just knew I was pregnant. I did tests in the morning and evening and they were negative. I got in the shower after the second test then looked at it again once i'd got out.. there was a very very faint line (almost nothing at all), so I checked others in the bin- they had them too! I convinced myself they were evap lines and me and OH went and bought some better tests. The lines on both these tests were much stronger but still very faint (see pic included)... I sent OH to the shop again for a 5 day early test Clear Blue test. I did that at 4am after waking in the middle of the night and it said not pregnant. 13dpo- I was a little sad all day about the negative result, but still hopeful. I bought a "how many days" test and a standard ClearBlue test. I did the clear blue on my lunch at work and the blue line was there! Pregnant! 14dpo- I did the Clear Blue how many days test in the morning and it said 1-2 weeks pregnant :) Since finding out for sure the main side effects up to 6 weeks pregnant have been tiredness, cramping, extremely emotional and EXCRUITATING BREASTS. Baby dust to all xxx :)

That's awesome!!! Congrats!! OMG, I am always saying I am in the process of proving my doctors wrong. I am going to surprise my doctors next week after I get a confirmation of my pregnancy (law of attraction talking). I really do feel I am pregnant, even though I never was pregnant before now. My doc said we need to do IVF but in the meantime, let's do IUI! So it was my first IUI! I took 5 days of femera and then the trigger shot on Feb 5 and IUI on Feb 6! On Feb 7, I had a heart burn!! Today I am 10 dpIUI. I started pregnancy testing since February 14. That morning, i saw a faint line, which is due to the HCG shot I took and yesterday and today, there was no second line. AND yesterday, I started feeling nauseated and I rarely feel so. If it were from the trigger shot, I would have felt it way earlier and not feel it when it is out of my system! I took a pregnancy today (10DPiui / 11 dpt...Basically 10 dpo) and it is a BFN. I know it is too early and am glad that the HCG is out of my system as the progression of a second line is from an actual pregnancy. What do you guys think of me starting to feel nauseated yesterday and still today as well? I am saying it is due to the pregnancy. I rarely feel nauseated! I will be doing the beta blood test on Wednesday!

Ah bless you, thank you :) Apologies for the late response- I've only just seen this! Did you get your BFP?? I'm crossing my fingers for a yes!!!
