Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives

34 Years Old. TTC #3 for 11 months. BFP

Hey everyone.... I am on here sharing again for the 2nd time. My first time sharing was after struggling with secondary infertility in 2015. I have a pretty amazing background testimony preceding this pregnancy and if you have time feel free to look it up. Was entered Oct / 2015 and I believe it was titled "our testimony". It is way more action packed than this entry! So hubby and I have been trying for about 11 months after having our 2nd child. Nothing was happening. We sold our home and moved into my parents while waiting for our house to be built and I had noticed I didnt really have a period since April. Not really anything new for me, my cycles are always irregular. I had some spotting at the end of June for 3 days but again, not out of the norm so I didn't think too much about it. Thought it was just another wonky cycle with no ovulation. Anyways so then July 16th I have some light pink spotting when I wipe and it only lasts that night. The next morning I wake up and realize I threw my shoulder out along with my neck and it's so painful! I tell myself I will buy some muscle relaxants on the way home. So I stopped by wal mart and thought what if I am pregnant? Maybe I should rule it out before taking these. So I go home and POS and its blazing a positive line before the control line shows up. I was so happy but I am also confused. How long have I been pregnant? I spotted late June as well so it's hard to tell. I also have had very little symptoms... I have had no nausea, no breast pain just some mild heaviness, but one thing that did strike me as odd was a few weeks ago I felt like there was a lot of pulling and stretching behind my belly button. Something I usually get after 4 months... I attributed it to lifting my toddler and maybe tweaking something and to this day by abdominal muscles are slightly achy and behind my belly button and also since i found out i have had lower aching in my back. Might be because I know I am pregnant now but I swear I noticed more symptoms after finding out. I have a doctor's appointment booked for Monday and hopefully I will be able to find out how far along I am around then:) Anyhow I just feel so thankful after our struggle to be able to be pregnant again. I'm thankful to God and the plans he has for each one of us. I hold the women on this site very dear to my heart and I know how torturous the wait can be. Praying you all see your BFP soon!

The first few days and weeks after a positive pregnancy test may be full of mixed emotions. There are certain things that you need to start working on to have a healthy pregnancy, like getting started with prenatal care and beginning to take prenatal vitamins, if you haven't already done so. You should also be gentle with yourself if you feel a bit sensitive about the whole subject. It may take you some time to adjust to the news, and that's normal. Seek support if you need it! Glimpse through a pregnancy calendar so that you know what to expect and follow your pregnancy week by week. See if you can sign up for an early pregnancy class at a local hospital or birth center. This will give you a bit of knowledge to start making the appropriate decisions for you and baby. Books are also a great source of knowledge about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Like the way I was told in Bio tex clinic how to prepare. It worked for me by the way!
