Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives

My two week wait

Hey everyone, I have been following this board for some time now and could not wait until I could post my BFP story. Me and DH have only been TTC for four months. We were getting absolutely no where, so I decided the day my period ended this last time I would start taking prenatal vitamins, tracking ovulation and using preseed during my fertile week, I did just that. 1 DPO- nothing 2 DPO- still nothing 3 DPO- Tired, very tired. 4 - 6 DPO - still gassy and tired 7 DPO- light cramps, couldn't sleep through the night which is not normal for me and when I would wake up at night, I'd wake up so hot. Still extremely tired. 8 DPO - Still not sleeping through the night, very vivid dreams, sharp shooting pain in armpits (first time ever). DH said that his grandma had a dream about fish and asked if I was pregnant.. of course I said no because I thought I wasn't just thought my body was preparing for AF. 9 DPO - same symptoms from previous day, tested and BFN. 10 DPO - had a dream I tested and got a faint positive, woke up and decided to test and sure enough I got a faint positive. 11 - 13 DPO - line got increasingly darker with each test!! 13 DPO boobs got extremely big and have been hurting since. Scheduled my first appointment for next Thursday. I completely switched it up this go around, and lucky enough I got my BFP!!! Also, I had tons of creamy CM since 1 DPO

A missed menstrual period is most often the first sign of pregnancy and is a common first trimester symptom. Sometimes a woman who is pregnant may still experience some bleeding or spotting around the time of the expected period, typically 6 to 12 days after conception. When it occurs, this so-called "implantation bleeding" is generally not as heavy or long as a regular menstrual period. This small amount of bleeding that happens at the time of the expected menstrual period occurs because the fertilized egg attaches to the uterine wall. This is referred to as implantation bleeding. Any bleeding during pregnancy is typically lighter than that observed during the regular menstrual period. However, if a woman does not have regular menstrual cycles, she may notice some of the other symptoms of early pregnancy before it is apparent that the menstrual period has been missed. A missed menstrual period also does not confirm that a woman is pregnant even if she has regular cycles, since both emotional and physical conditions may cause absent or delayed periods. Some women may experience feelings of abdominal enlargement or bloating, but there is usually only a small amount of weight gain in the first trimester of pregnancy. In this early stage of pregnancy a weight gain of about one pound per month is typical. Sometimes women also experience mild abdominal cramps during the early weeks of pregnancy, which may be similar to the cramps that occur prior to or during the menstrual period.
