I know this is an older post but wanted to reply anyway and share this link. It has a lot of info on all the different cups and was a big help to me in deciding which to go with. (I use the Diva and am happy with it, though I have to use it inside out).

I just got so excited to see this! I use the Diva cup too! I have for about a year. I love it! I have never tried using it inside out before...whats does that do for you?

It shortens it and makes the bottom rounder and smoother so it doesn't irritate me. The size I got was a little long and even after cutting off as much of the stem as I could it was still really uncomfortable. I was ready to give up until I read to try turning it inside out on that website. Now I'm a dedicated user. :D

I cut most of my stem off too. It was ridiculously long! I tried to convince friends of mine to do it. They thought it was gross though. The best part is I never have to worry about remembering items when I go on vacation. And it saves a ton of $$$. I don't have to tell you that though. I am happy you got it to work for you.

The money saved is the best part. Now I have more money each month for pregnancy tests.

I've tryed tampons and it's just not for me, I'm super paranoid about using them anyway.
Although I hate that constant wet feeling and the big bulkiness (even if they are thin) of pads... It's just what I prefer :D

OMG i thought i was the only one like that! everyone i knew used tampons and pressured me into trying one and it got STUCK! i was sooo scared! i know thats dumb, but i have a very small pelvis (i know tmi but when i got for pap they use the speculum for teens/smaller people, not the average or it wont fit) the tampon would not come out and i snapped the string pulling trying to get it out! it was terrified. i tried every position angle EVERYthing so i finally caved embarassed and asked my sis for help, and we ended up having me soak in a warm tub to losen it/have it dampen so it could be squeezed differently and it finally gave away but i still had half the cotton there, it came out on its own, but they almost hade to take me to the er to have a dr remove it. it was HUMILIATING!

never again will i use tampons! and whats sad was it was a light flow super small tampod, the kind my sis has only last an hour for her, and with me, it got stuck. i felt like a complete fool.

I am a Diva Cup user too!! And I LOVE it. It does take a little while to get the hang of it, but now it's second nature to me. I've been using it for I think 4 cycles. I am saving so much money every month, not adding to the environmental waste, and it is so much more comfortable than a pad or tampon.

i wore tampons from age 14 until about 2 years ago when i developed a rash where the string touched me..so i swapped to pads..the first time i swapped to pads i got pregnant after nearly 2 years of no birth control..so i decided to stick with pads..but then i developed a rash from the pads too..so i now use cloth pads..its not as gross as i thought it would be..ive thought about trying the cups..but im happy with my pads for now..i might give it a try when my cloth start falling apart

Im on cvs.com and i just seen that you can get 14 instead cups for 7.99.. I was intrested in getting some diva cups to help with my infertility but seen instead was the same and much cheaper.

Also, I used both tampons and pads I have the same problem with tampon being pushed out and they are so uncomfortable, But I purchased some of the new colorful kotex tampons they are smaller and more comfortable.

It's really not cheaper because the Instead cups are disposable while the Diva or others like it are reusable. I think the Diva cup is supposed to last 10 years. I paid about $25 for mine which is what I would spend on pads and tampons in 2 cycles. So it's definitely a money saver!

O ok thanks for the advice,But i dont think i would feel safe using them when im on af or reusing (My opinion) i only got them to see if it would help me with getting pregnant. also, if i dont like them i would only waste 8 dollars.
