i could never give up my tampons my cycles are just too heavy nowadays for pads alone, i'd need 3 of them, but i don't think it would cause infertility, it's only in the vagina itself. that is only my opinion, i haven't read any research, but tampons have been around for AGES, and i started using them at 14, and got pregnant naturally a coouple times years after, so idk....i mean if you can get away with a light enough period for just a pad you could try it, but me, i often am using a tampon, super plus, and a pad, on days 1 and 2, so.....

interesting story though, i hope it isn't tru though as so many of us do use them

thanks for sharing.

hugs, sherry

for years i couldnt use tampons, the thought just freaked me out! untill i reachd my early 20's, 21 or maybe 22 when i decided to give them a go, and havent looked back since! well i know loads of people who have used tampons for years and have kids my own mum being one of them and she has 3 children! so i honestly dont know if they affect your fertility!
i have to use both though some months as iam so heavy! i couldnt go back to using just pads, it drove me crazy when i had my 2 hysteroscopy's and had to use pads for a month after!
