Which is CD 1?

Postby socialite_baby » Thu Mar 31, 2011 8:10 am

I know the first day of flow where you need a tampon/pad is CD 1... Last night between 7 and 8 PM I felt a huge gush while working out. When I got home I checked and sure enough there was blood. Super dark black blood in my underwear. I wiped and there was a little more. I was excited! I get to start Clomid this cycle! Well, the flow wasn't quite heavy enough for a pad or tampon so I made DH do me. That always starts it! It just made my flow/spotting pink. I put a tampon in anyway and was feeling my usual AF pain.

Today I woke up and was still in intense pain, but when I changed my tampon there wasn't much on it (about half was saturated). I haven't checked it since, but it doesn't feel heavy or full. By now AF is usually really heavy.

Should I count yesterday as CD 1 or today? I'm supposed to start Clomid CD 3-7 and I'd hate to screw it up the first month!

Looking at your chart, with the temp dip and the bleeding I'd call Wednesday CD 1. I'm not an expert on clomid, but I would definitely call that the start of aunt flow.

Hope this helps! Good luck this cycle!
