encouragement needed

So as I was talking to my mother this weekend, she realized many of my recent symptoms (sudden weight gain of 30 pounds, muscle and joint pain, severe fatigue, irritability, very irregular periods) may actually be from a thyroid condition. Not to mention, autoimmune disorders run heavily on my mother's side of the family. I have had some of these symptoms ongoing for years and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia last winter, although I am starting to wonder if I may have hypothyroidism or Hashimoto's. I'm really discouraged, but am going to schedule a visit with my doctor to see if labs can confirm my suspicions. I'm starting to feel like this TTC journey is hopeless. Anyone else have a thyroid condition, but was able to conceive and have a healthy pregnancy?
