Went for my 2nd hsg. It went perfect no blockage! Im retroverted so it was hard for the other doc to find my cervix. I feel so relieved. Duckie sounds like your getting answered too. I wondered if I had pcos but doc said blood test didn't show any signs. How did the specialit figure that out for you?

Hey Jubalee! Sorry for the late reply. My normal Doctor sent me for all the tests initially but she was unwilling to confirm nor deny either way. Specialist looked at both blood work, (the AMH blood count for how many eggs I have left) and I had an ultrasound. The AMH came back within normal but on the higher side and my ultrasound showed the typical 'ring of pearls' numerous cysts around my ovaries. So even though I don't show signs of the syndrome I do have polycystic ovaries which is confirmed by both tests together. But I can happily report that since being on Metformin, I have had 2 normal cycles, first one was 27 days and this one was 32 which is much, much better than the 50+ days averages I'd been having. So even though no baby yet, I am positive that my body is starting to do what it should so hopefully my time will come soon. Best of luck with all yours! And glad to hear that this time thinks went well for you.

Hi there. I am happy that you didn't have PCOs, You gotta think a little positive okay? 14 months isn't a very long time. You've great chances to conceive. Just have some faith in yourself. I have my fingers crossed for you. Best of luck. x

I've been TTC for 15 months, I was diagnosed with PCOS in January and prescribed Metformin to regulate hormones. Last year I only had 2 periods, this year I've already had 2 while on Metformin!
Another woman and I started a TWW FB group (it's a secret group). If you would like to be added to it please add me as a friend and send me a private message that you want to be added to the group so I can send you a group invite. Also, we can "unfriend" after you are added to the group if you like in order to keep yourself private.

Jubalee! Still TTC, I think I'm on track for a normal length cycle this month. Still no BFP but I'm not giving up hope. If the Metformin keeps me cycling naturally and regularly then we've decided to give it another full year before seeing specialist again. Because for the first 14months of trying we literally only had 2 possible cycles where I was within a fertile range. So I'm hopeful that now my body is doing what it should be, we will have the same chances as most couples of conceiving within a year naturally.

Just wanted an to post an update, though maybe prematurely. This is my third regular cycles since taking Metformin and today I am day 32 so just for a laugh I took a HPT. And it was a BFP!!! I of course have made a drs appointment for Tuesday and will likely retest with a different HPT tomorrow, but just wanted to give you all an update.

I feel the same my husband and I have been trying for about the same time. I have been on clomid for 5 cycles now and still no success, I am now getting to the point I just feel like giving up, my Dr said to have his sperm checked if no pregnancy this month to rule it out. If that turns out fine i honestly do not know what to do.
