Can a beta be given too early resulting in a fals negative?

Postby carriecarrie » Tue Jan 16, 2018 9:43 pm

I did a 3 day FET Jan 3rd and my beta was Jan 15. I have so many pregnancy symptoms and haven’t taken a home pregnancy test yet. Can a beta be wrong? Thx in advance for your insight!

Hi Noreen, You have provided a very valuable information above. Yes, I already got the terms. The false negative, and also the false positive. They are terminologies used in statistical sciences. In that, you have true positive. And true positive also. They just mean that results are correct. And no fallacy involved. In this way, if you act upon Noreen's advice above. That of checking on the morning. You will have true positive/negatives. I hope that helps. And I pray you get what you want. Love!xx
