Arrrgghhhh!!! Just venting.

Postby alinat » Sun Apr 17, 2011 5:20 pm

It has been almost 2 years of ttc. I have been poked, prodded, bled and cut into, I have changed my diet and lifestyle, apparently there is nothing wrong with me or DH and yet still no BFP. I started spotting today and my temp took a dip which means the witch is on her way. Ever since I had my lap, dye and hysteroscopy in March my luteal phase has shortened. I just want to scream. Thanks for letting me vent.

I can totally relate. I've done 7 medicate cycles (3 of which were injectibles) and the more medication I get, the shorter my LP's became.

I recently had a phone consultation with Dr. Sher of the Sher Institutes, and he said that the majority of the time, unexplained infertility is a "cop out". He thinks, by looking at my past cycles, that I may have diminished ovarian reserve. I am having several tests to hopefully try to pinpoint what exactly is wrong.

For the record, I ovulate on my own, DH's sperm is good, no endo or PCOS. It's a mystery!

I would request more testing, if you can. There *has* to be a reason, just a matter of someone taking the time and proper steps to actually finding it!

Good luck :luck:

Here is a link to one of Dr. Sher's blog entries. A lot of the first part of it you have probably already done, but towards the end he lists more tests, some of which are the ones I'm going to be doing:
