Hey Shells,

Facebook is a great idea. Particularly as my husband said he wasn't keen on me posting pics of Sadie here. I am not 100% sure why but I guess it is a fair enough request.

Shells, it sounds as though you have got a really good schedule going. Hopefully the boys are still behaving themselves.

Nicky, I love the pic. Such a gorgeous little boy. I think teething has a lot to do with Sadie's appalling sleep situation. I am very jealous...my cycles came back at 4 months.

I will PM you both my Facebook details.

A

Re: AMH Levels

Hi not sure if anyone is still active on this thread but would love some advice re: my amh results. I had it teated back in nov 2014 while I was on bcp and it was 6.8pmol (.95ngl) i was 34yrs old. I am now 35 and have been off bcp for 6montha and had my amh tested bc I was told bcp can suppress results. It came back at 9.6pmol (1.37ngl) which is still not the best, was hoping to see 14pmol(2ngl) but for my age I can't complain. My qst is though, can clomid affect (increase/decrease amh results)??? I've been on clomid for 2 cycles when I had amh retested. I'm just trying to work out now if my amh at 9.6 is the true result off bcp or if clomid has increased it and I'm still really only 6.8pmol. Anyone who can help me out even a bit I would really appreciate it.

Hi Emilia. I am sorry you are trouble with your AMH results. Im afraid I never went on Clomid so I can comment on that aspect but 9.6pmol is considered perfectly normal for your age. Could your doctor or RE help you with understanding how clomid affects your hormone levels because I am sure it does. The main thing is that Clomid is helping your chances of conception and that's the most important thing. I wish you all the luck in trying to conceive and wish I could of been more helpful. Nx

Thanks for your reply nickym. I will ask my gyno when I see him but gp thinks that clomid can increase amh and I was bit upset over this bc was hoping my amh was what it is regardless of clomid . I just thought clomid was to help stimulate the ovaries not produce more eggs. Idk it's so confusing. I'm trying injectibles now. Hoping so bad this works as clomid didn't.

I think mine was 14pmol but i cant be sure.
I know it seems all is completely lost at the moment but you are doing everything you can to increase your chances. Try to take some comfort in that. Also you are still young and time is on your side. It will happen for you im sure. Big hugs. Nx

14pmol is good that's normal range I was hoping mine would be that.

Thanks, I cut out caffeine and I'm dying for a cuppa lol ...

Thanks I hope ur right and it happens soon. I don't feel like being 35 is young. I feel like my chances are over bc of this age, all I can hear is the clock ticking.
