Hsg video. Opinions greatly appreciated

Postby bobfreyjones » Thu Jun 12, 2014 10:08 am

So I had an hsg done two weeks ago. I don't get to see the ob/gyn who did it for another week. I know that this is a crappy video but I had to take it off of a laptop with my phone

What are your thoughts?

Hi, I didn't want to read & run so all I will say is that a HSG is great because even if they don't find any problems to fix, the dye sort of flushes your system, opening up the tubes & such.... and many women get pregnant shortly after this test

I am getting one soon, so this was neat to see! I have no idea if it's normal though :( Keep us posted with what you find out so we know if it is a good example of a normal HSG!

in that video it doesn't look like the dye went through your tubes (unless your vid didn't capture it well) you should see two lines coming off the uterus with pools of dye spilling out the the other end like this image:

I had the balloon deflate 4 times and it wouldn't go through my tubes, then in the end it only went though one on the 5th attempt. Was that a one and only attempt they did?
