Second SA - will results be different?

Postby charlieeex » Mon Dec 15, 2014 9:04 pm

Hi ladies.
Hubby is going in for his second sa on Thursday. His first one came back with a count of around 9 million. Was just wondering what if any experiences you have had with the second analysis? Could his results be worse or better? We won't find out results until January 9th! So the wait is going to kill me.
Hubby and I both 26.

Was he on any type of medication or supplements? DH had a count of 4 and was put on Clomid and I made him take several other vitamins and supplements. At his second SA his count was was well over 80 million. His urologist said a man can give a sample every day for months and every result will be different.

My husband had a SA in March, it came back 'slightly below average' (sorry, the dr's never told me the numbers) He just had one done 2 weeks ago and it came back above average. So I guess they can change!

Thanks for the replies ladies. He hasn't been given any medications yet doc wants to see what this test is before we try anything else.
Just got a call today - they cancelled tomorrow's appt and we don't have another one until the 14th of jan. So we won't know results till 23rd of jan! So frustrating !!!
