I had an ectopic preg and lost my left tube. I did get preg afterwards with the right tube but miscarried. A year later I found out my right tube was blocked why I don?t know. We did one Cycle of IVF which failed but then had a 2nd HSG test done which confirmed the right tube was blocked. I opted for surgery and I had so much scar tissue near my bowel that it was just too dangerous to attempt to unblock the tube. The Fertility Doc tried to insert dye through the tube but it did not pass through so I was advised IVF is the only way. If you can afford to do IVF that's your best bet. It is a very expensive, stressful and emotional procedure and you will have your ups and downs but you will have the support of your partner and family. It could take more than one cycle but in the end it is definitely worth it when you have no other options. Best of luck!
