Semen analysis: high viscosity?

Postby Nkk15 » Fri Apr 24, 2015 7:46 am

My SO and I have been TTC for 15 months now, he recently had 2 separate SA's done, both came back the same... High viscosity. Getting very discouraged! Is there anyone out there that has dealt with this?

Hello! I don't have experience with your exact issue, but my DF did have issues with his sperm as well. I do know that high viscosity can be caused by dehydration. Also, if that doesn't correct the problem you could try having an IUI done. This way they will "wash" the sperm to get the best ones and then implant them at the time you are ovulating. Good luck and hopefully you will get more answers :)
