Ovarian cyst

What was your experience with an ovarian cyst shrinking on its own. Or what was your experience using birth control to help shrink it how long did you take BC?

Do you know what kind of cyst it is? I had a complex cyst (ended up being full of blood) that wouldn't shrink or go away even on bc. I ended up having it removed.

Yes it's a complex cyst it is either a chocolate cyst or a
Hemorrhagic Cyst. I recently change doctors because my OB/GYN had such a horrible bedside manner. I have an appointment on Tuesday with fertility doctor

3 weeks and the cyst only grew. It went from 4cm to 6cm. I had been on clomid the cycle they discovered it. I could feel it constantly when I walked or moved and they wouldn't give me the green light to continue ttc until it was gone. Good luck with yours! I was pretty upset and miserable during that time

It ended up being kinda a blessing in disguise, I used to only ovulate from the right side and I guess the "trauma" of surgery temporarily shut down that side and I began ovulating from the left side for the first time ever. It took about 2 cycles for the right to wake back up and then I kept ovulating from both sides

Hello I had a hemorrhagic cyst, my doctor suggested I wait a month to see if it would go away on its own, She wanted to see if it would go away on its own or if it was still there to determine if it was early signs of Endometriosis. I waited and luckily it went away! How long do they want you to wait for?

Wishing you the best hopeful4-2 that is what my doctor did. Good for you for switching doctors! I went through the same experience of getting frustrated with a bad doctor, but once you find the one that is a good fit for you, you will be so happy you switched!

It delayed mine! And I believe since then i have had some more, based on pain I've felt. Some of my cycles can be 39 days long! I think this is why.

They go anywhere from 25 days to 39 days. :-/ No I wasn't on clomid, I've only been ttc since Novemeber so I haven't hit the year mark to see a doc about it. :-( If I don't conceive by 10 months I'm making an appointment. Were you on clomid?

Yeah I was on clomid, that's how I got the cyst. My last cycle trying. Really hoping it doesn't delay my period it's already 2 days late but since being on clomid my cycles have been 28 days instead of 26. So should arrive tomorrow based on last 2 cycles . But have feeling it won't come bc of cyst. If I miss my period this cycle bc of the cyst can I still ovulate when I usually do ??
