Venting

Feel free to read and run. I just need to vent..

I'm having an extra difficult TWW. I'm currently 3dpo, and this is our 17th cycle! No ovulation issues for me. My hubby was diagnosed with low count and motility last summer. We ended up doing unmedicated IUIs in November and December, but no success. This month I bit the bullet and had an HSG done. It showed my tubes are clear (yay!), but it also confirmed a polyp that was seen on an earlier ultrasound. Since I started Letrozole earlier this month and had 3 large follicles, the doctor let us go ahead with our January IUI as planned. However, if we don't get pregnant this cycle we'll have to take 2 months off TTC because the doctor wants to do OH (office hysteroscopy) and possibly surgery to remove my polyp. That TTC delay would be devastating to us, so I feel horribly desperate for this IUI to be successful!

Part of me is hopeful since we had 3 follicles, however my polyp could disrupt implantation and my husband's count this time was the lowest it's ever been (6 million post wash). I'm having a hard time staying positive and it's pretty much all I can think about.

Sorry for the rant. I just felt I needed to get this energy out somewhere.

Is ok to rant, most of us have been trough this, all I can say is good luck and I hope the IUI works for you but if it won't don't feel discouraged, take advantage of the cycles off and enjoy urself ,have some wine or sushi and after the histeroscopy you can get back on the ttc world with new forces!!Good luck!!

Thanks Danaa! Sometimes it gives me peace just to be heard. I agree I should probably take advantage of the 2 months off if they happen. 10 DPO today and BFN. I don't know why I torture myself with testing early!
