Sperm dna fragmentation, please help

Postby Mrs.Stacy3343 » Tue May 02, 2017 1:59 pm

So a little background. My husband and I have been ttc for a year. I started having some of the fertility tests done back in December, like hsg test and ultrasound to see follicles. Everything came back normal. In January we got our first bfp. We were over the moon excited, started telling people even though it was very early. Sadlyou, ten days later we lost our first baby. It was very heartbreaking. We decided to make an appointment with a fertility specialist in April. They ran a bunch of tests and we decided to sign up for ivf. A week after my appointment while at the dr trying to get rid of strep throat and bronchitis, I was told that I was pregnant. I was very shocked but happy. Then two days later we got the results back from my husbands dna fragmentation test. It came back with 30%dna fragmentation, which is on the high side. After looking up what that meant and talking with the dr, we found out we have a high chance for miscarriage with this baby also. So I was wondering if anyone has ever had a successful pregnancy with abnormal dna fragmentation?

This pregnancy also feels so different from the last one. Last time I had a ton of pregnancy symptoms, this time I have none. I'm still not very far along, but I wasn't far along with the last one either. It is kind of freaking me out that I don't have any symptoms.
