PCOS but TTC for almost 8months

Postby Saerah16 » Tue Nov 08, 2016 6:21 am

Hi, anyone here can answer my confusion? My partner and were ttc since april 2016,since my period was irregular i decided to see an obgyne last May. My OB prescribed me a dupahston on every 16th day after the first day of my period for 10days every month. To cut it short, my MP became regular from June to Oct. My last period was Oct 1-4 and supposed to have my next period last Oct 27-30. But as of this moment, i am 12days late based on my ovulation tracking app (My Calendar). I am experiencing a pelvic pain, my sense of smell became sensitive, and my saliva increases (watery mouth). Are these Symptoms indicate that i am conceiving? I had home pregnancy test on the 9th day of my missed period but it was NEGATIVE. Please help me. Me and my partner really want to have a baby. I am 28y/o. Thank you

The symptoms do sound promising,if ur period is still late and the hpt is still negative yet should ask for a blood tes.
Good luck!

Thanks for your response Danaa. ;) I am planning to visit my OB this afternoon. But i'm sure she'll ask me if i already take hpt and if i will tell her yes, maybe she'll ask me to take another hpt after a few days and comeback to see her. :( I'm thinking that maybe i'll be wasting time and money if i see my OB this early. I'm 13days late now and still fingers crossed. :)

There could be a chance that you're pregnant. The symptoms do seem promising. I don't understand why the hpt is negative. You can check with your doctor to be sure. Ask her to run a blood test and it might give you the exact results. I'm also waiting for some of my results at the moment. I'm waiting for my surrogate to test positive. I'm so excited and impatient!

I think you should get a blood test done. It's good to stay on the safe side. PCOS is a terrible issue. I hope you're following a strict diet, as well. If nothing else works, you can always opt for assisted conception, as well. I think you might find some luck with the IVF procedure. IUIs could work out as well! I hope this helps.

Hey, I hope you are doing well. The symptoms do seem promising. However, I think its a bit too early to say anything. I would that you should do a test at home and see if it is a BFP. Do wait and not hurry things up. Also, make sure to keep the expectations low. It's good that you are visiting your doctor regularly. This is something that really matters. Apart from that take extra care of your health. Eat healthy food that is high in nutrition. Good luck to you. I hope things go well. Make sure that you are visiting a doctor high in experience. All my prayers are with you. Sending baby dust your way.
-Low AMH and High FSH
-Poor Ovarian Reserve
-5 IUIs (failed)
-1 IVF (failed)
Life is a total mess

This doesn't look great. However, it's still too early. You shouldn't worry too much. Eight months are absolutely nothing. The symptoms look good, of course. Best of luck to you! I hope you get a BFP. PCOS can be a mare! I can relate, I hope your luck turns around.
