St. Gerard

Postby DeeMarie » Thu Sep 25, 2014 9:00 am

I know religion is always a touchy subject, as is politics.. but I also know that I'm not the only one out here who practices my Faith. And maybe not always the best that I can. In any case, I was wondering if anyone is saying a novena or just a daily prayer to St. Gerard. I started to and have trailed off. (silly woman)..
I had a St. Gerard medal that my sister gave me, years ago, but I gave it to someone else, who I really thought needed it, at the time.

Dh and I started to say a novena to him several months ago, but then we forgot to finish it...whoops! I'm glad I saw this post so I can remember to do that again. It can't hurt, right?
I got my BFP on October 26, 2014!

Absolutely not! Go ahead girl! I've been lazy with mine... But I took it out today. I went to a St. Gerard mass last Thursday. My sister called and told me about it in her church bulletin, so we took a short road trip and went to the mass. It was beautiful! They gave out blessed medals and prayer cards and then we were able to have a private/personal blessing with one of the attending priests. Naturally, I did have one - and I cried. It was really moving - The whole mass. Lots of stories about how St Gerard came through for some of the moms there.
