Tonight, as I face the horror of what may be tomorrow as I have been bleeding and cramping so badly, I continue to pray. I hope you take this prayer with you all in times of dispair...

O Lord Jesus Christ, through the intercession of Your tender Mother, Our Lady of La Leche, who bore You close to her heart during those long months before Your birth, I place my baby and myself entirely in Your Hands. Free me, I beseech You, from useless and consuming worry. Accept the sacrifice of my aches and pains, which I unite to Your sufferings on the Cross. Above all, most merciful and loving Jesus, protect this child You have given to me from all harm, bestowing the health and vigor every baby needs. Implant in my heart and on my lips the words and prayers of Your Mother and mine, our Lovely Lady of La Leche. All this I ask that my child and I may live to praise forever Your Holy Name.

Amen.

Song by Addison Road

Postby addiejoy » Wed Mar 17, 2010 8:10 pm

This song is kinda old (over a year, I think), but it is absolutely wonderful. I have it set as my alarm sound on my phone to wake up to each day....the words make me cry (in a good way!) every time, and it just reminds me to hold on to Jesus...to put my hope in Him...hopefully it will encourage all of you! Lord knows we are continually broken down by heartache in this journey, but He remains there...He is always there! I can feel Him close to me in my lowest of lows during this TTC journey...so thankful for His grace that enables us to carry on.
You may have already heard it, but here are the words just in case! :) Love, hugs, and loads of baby dust and HOPE to all of you girls!

Hope Now (Addison Road)

If everything comes down to love
Then just what am I afraid of
When I call out Your name
Something inside awakes in my soul
How quickly I forget I'm Yours

I'm not my own
I've been carried by You
All my life

Everything rides on hope now
Everything rides on faith somehow
When the world has broken me down
Your love sets me free

When my life is like a storm
Rising waters all I want is the shore
You say I'll be okay and
Make it through the rain
You are my shelter from the storm

And everything rides on hope now
And everything rides on faith somehow
When the world has broken me down
Your love sets me free

You've become my hearts desire
I will sing Your praises higher
Cause Your love sets me free
Your love sets me free
Your love sets me free

I'm not my own
I've been carried by You
All my life

Everything rides on hope now
Everything rides on faith somehow
When the world has broken me down
Your love sets me free

Your love sets me free
Your love sets me free
Your love sets me free
Your love sets me free
Your love sets me free
Your love sets me free

We may not always understand what happens in our life but it is important to TRUST that God knows best! Everything works together for the GOOD of those that love the Lord. His way are not our ways...it is comforting to know that HE loves us soo much that HE will NEVER leave or forsake us and he promises to be with us through it all...Lean on Jesus! He wants you to cast all your cares upon him and make him FIRST in your life! After that..all other things will follow. So, try not to obsess over things and just PRAY and THANK him in advance for the beautiful little baby that you WILL have through faith...Speak into the atmosphere what it is that your heart desires and trust TRULY trust God to deliver...for HE IS ABLE!

And PRAISE him NOW as a marker of your FAITH in that you KNOW he hears you and will deliver in HIS timing!!

For God is LOVE and there is NOBODY greater!!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

A child is a gift from God

More than just so that we can have a life to hold. More than so we can fill a void with love. A child is another spirit brought into the world given to us to help them fulfill there own destieny along with ours.

My son was a miricle to me when he was concived, carried and born because I belived I may never have children. But more than that he was a miricle because he saved my life. The man I was married to was not a good man but I was blinded by sin and could not see. My son was the light that got me threw. My son was the inspiration to help me escape my first marriage which was in many rights my own damnation. It was because of my love for him that I wanted to be a better person. It was because of my love for him that I became a better person.

The timing of his birth was in Gods time and for a reason.

My daughter was another miricle. My current husband and I both came from very simular marital situations. We where both divorce from abusive / cheating / unholy people. We both had medical issues that made it hard for us to concive children. We where both had such deep love for our children that we where able to overcome the shadows of our pasts.

My daughter was concived and born out of wedlock and many people condemed us for that but I belive without a shadow of a doubt that all children are born in Gods time for Gods reason, not our own.

We are now TTC another child and I have found myself frustrated and dissapointed time and time again but then I stumbeled on this thread and was reminded of all this....

Some may say, but I have no children, you have many, who are you to say anything.

I tell you these things to give you hope and encuragement. I tell you these things so that you will be lessened of your burden. It is not in our time that God gives us blessings, but in his own. When we are ready, when the need is there, when the time is right, God will bless you.

Dont let your hurt, anger, fear or disapointment lead you astray. Don't condem God for not just giving you a gift but focus on the larger scope.

If God intends for you to raise a child, then that child will come. If God intends for a child to raise you, then that child will come.

Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me

Lord I believe, help my unbelief

Abba father, everything is possible for you

Take this cup from me

Yet not what I will but what you will

I'm very new here and approaching ovulation again after 10 months TTC, Endo removal in February and several friends delivering babies in the past few weeks. This verse has given me strength and peace to understand that it is out of my hands. My husband and I are doing all we can to catch a gift if it is meant for us... Hope it helps someone else

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God"
2 Corinthians 1:3-4

I agree, we have to have faith. No matter what bring us down, we will always stand up again. We will not be defeated! I saw some articles and blogs are pretty helpful.

Oh wow! This place is amazing.

I am in some uncertainty and dear right now with being a week late with all symptoms, faint positives on hpts but 0.5 hcg on bloods, my ultrasound shows a gestational sac but my hcg is not there.... I feel as though I am waiting to say goodbye to my little angel already. Nobody can give me any answers. So I have been saying.... I trust that you will do the right thing God. I trust that you will do the right thing. That's all I have really and I can and have and probably will again, trawl the Internet and sites looking for answers and faith in my situation but ultimately..... As long as I have faith in my higher power working for my greater good I know that everything will be just fine. I have had many miracles in my life and no doctor ever performed one of them : )

Thank you all for sharing your love and faith. I am now at peace once more. Xx
