Thanks so much girls ((hugs))

My RE said this pregnancy does not look viable.

The sac grew and is 6 weeks (I should be 7), there is something in the sac that measures 5weeks 5days, but it doesn't look normal, she said she couldn't even say it looked like a yolk sac or a fetal pole, it was just some sort of tissue. No heartbeat. My corpus luteum is still there and big, so I won't be miscarrying for a while. We didn't do betas today, but we will go back for another ultrasound in 2 weeks. She talked about my last beta and said that it wasn't good, but it wasn't awful either. Obviously the ultrasound gives us a better view of how the pregnancy is progressing.

I got back all my results on my blood work and all the blood clotting disorder stuff came back normal. I asked to have my Vitamin D level tested because I have been reading some things about that and if it's low, it may impact genetics and cause miscarriage. So, I'll get those results back soon and take a supplement if need be.

From what I've been reading, only 50% of couples with recurrent pregnancy loss get answers as to why. It looks like all of mine are most likely chromosome issues (at least half of them are), and DH and I were tested and showed no abnormal chromosomes. So....either my eggs are just old and bad, or whatever problem we have is beyond medical science at this point I'm feeling a little hopeless and wondering if we will ever have another take home baby again.

Michele what can I say? I am so sorry. But I cant believe they are making you wait 2 weeks, I guess there must be some hope that it is still early and the pregnancy may indeed be viable - but they arent able to make that call until it is bigger. But 2 weeks seems an awful long time, is there no alternative at all? Big hugs x

Thanks Debbie. Well, she recommended waiting, I think in that 1 in a million chance something good could come of this. She asked if I was okay with that and I told her I preferred that just in case. Although she gave us little to no hope, I kinda think that there has to be a miniscule chance, I don't know.

Michele, I'm so sorry you're still stuck in limbo. At least all hope is not lost. I would have chosen to wait too, just in case. I'm just so so sorry you're going through this again.

Thanks ladies for the well wishes for my appointment. I updated my siggy with the results and our plan. It's nothing monumental. DH's actual count was low, but the RE didn't seem too concerned, as he's seen how the count can fluctuate, and we had a good count last time. Poor DH has to go back for a 3rd s/a, which we're going to wait to do until June, since the RE wants to wait until then anyway and we'll be plenty busy in the meantime with the move and all.

Michele: I'm so sorry. I wish you could get some answers. It must be so stressful to wait two more weeks. I hope that they go by fast. I think that there is still a chance and at least you'll know for sure. My prayers are with you.

Michele: I'm so sorry. :hugs: I think I would have probably made the same decision to wait things out even though it really stinks being stuck in limbo. I'm still praying for a miracle for you.

Meggola: Sorry DH's count was lower this time. Hopefully, the move will go smoothly and you'll be ready to go in a few months. FX that Dh's SA improves then or you get a BFP and don't have to worry about it.

Not too much going on here. I went to $tree and stocked up on tests so that I can start using them this weekend. I'll probably start around 8 or 9dpo. I'm also dreading having to have a colonscopy done on Friday...they're oh so much fun. I'll be having a light anesthesia during the procedure so hopefully it won't affect anything if I did get conceive this month.

Hello from Disney World! I've not dropped off the planet, just needed a break.

Michele-Good luck tomorrow!

I'll have to get caught up on where everybody is, when I get back from Disney World. It's been an awful trip, poured everyday and we were on tornado watch multiple times per day...I just have "one of those lives".

Haven't been TTC, nor preventing. Currently on CD21 and not even sure we BD'd during the best time. I turn 44 tomorrow and have pretty much accepted that this isn't going to happen for me. I hope for a miracle but don't expect one.

Hope everybody is doing well!!

Julie: Good to hear from you. Hope you're enjoying Disney a little bit despite the weather. Happy birthday!

Michele: Thinking of you tomorrow. :praying:

AFM, AF found me yesterday so I am waiting to hear back from the RE about what dose of Follistim to start tomorrow. This last month was a huge let down. I was so excited that I O'd for the first time on my own, but apparently it wasn't meant to be. In the past, BFNs didn't get to me like this, but I'm really pretty bummed this time. Hopefully, the Follistim will work and I'll finally get a sticky BFP.

Julie, shame about the weather, it really is hit and miss with the weather in Florida. When I was there some days it rained and some days there was hot sun. I hope you managed to enjoy all the rides though. Happy birthday today!

Hawkeye, good luck with the Follistism, sorry about AF

Michele, I am thinking of you today :praying:

Hello everyone, I was wondering if I could join you? I have been looking for a group who has been through loss, and I see many of you have. I am recurrent m/c and just went through my last on 3/17 (oddly enough, st. patricks day) due to a blighted ovum. I have lost 4 others, one at 9 weeks, the other 3 were at 5w2days, and under. I am starting right away to try again, since I am not getting any younger and that it takes us so long to conceive. Take care to everyone and tons of bby dust and congrats to those preggy! Hopefully we will all be there with you shortly!

ladyraider: :welcome: I'm so sorry about all of your losses. Unfortunately, I've also lost 5 babies in the past year. Definitely not something that I ever want to experience again. We have an amazingly supportive group of women here, just been a bit quiet lately. Good luck with TTC again!

AFM, just got done working my stretch of 12-hour night shifts. I guarantee that all it will take for the RE to call will be me going up to bed. I better bring a pen and paper with me b/c I never remember conversations from phone calls that wake me up in the middle of sleep. Hopefully, I'll have some sort of update on the new plan later today.
