Painful O pain after miscarriage

Postby GWTW » Tue Nov 05, 2013 5:39 pm

Hi all,

I just had a miscarriage a little over 2 weeks ago. Starting yesterday I started getting the familiar ovulation pain that I always get….except this month it is much more intense and is lasting a lot longer than normal. As well, I had a bit of pink spotting that I have never gotten before

Has anyone else felt O differently the month after their miscarriage? I must admit I am glad to be O-ing again, but because of the pain it is making me not want to BD…

Is this normal?

Sorry I don't have an answer for you but I wanted to comment because I also spotted like this and it was on the same day that my temp dropped a whole degree. I did not have any pain though so I am not exactly sure if I did ovulate or not but it was 14 days after my mc.
Curious to see other responses.

I searched a bit on the internet re: this topic and it seems to be fairly common...The O after a miscarriage can be more painful and have spotting that you normally don't have (mine was pink and lasted 2.5 days).

I guess it takes a while for our bodies to get back to normal and I am sure that their is more blood fluid in there than usual maybe due to the m/c? I am glad I ovulated though! Now to wait for AF...and hoping she doesn't come!

That is the exact way and time frame of my spotting too. I hope that it is a sign that I did ovulate especially since I had that temp drop also! Here's to hoping for no AF!
