Any tips for dealing with anxiety?

Postby MidwestGirl » Fri Sep 11, 2015 8:21 pm

Hi, ladies,
DH and I have been TTC #2 for a year now. We were so excited when we got pregnant in July... then lost our dear little boy at 5 weeks 1 day. We're about to try again on September 23, and I'm so anxious I can hardly concentrate. I'm listening to Circle & Bloom relaxation mp3s. Any other tips? How did you get up the courage to try again after a loss? How did you not worry every single second that it was going to happen again? How did you keep up some hope that you'd have a baby at the end of this road?

Yoga helps a lot, so does having faith. Whatever your religion, pray for peace and guidance. The bigger picture isn't up to us. There's a stronger force out there guiding us. Sadly you may never feel at ease with a pregnancy. You just have to remember that no matter where you are in your pregnancy there is nothing you can do to change the outcome. I personally wish I was naive and unaware of loss. I wish I could get excited about a bfp, but it goes with the territory and somehow you just muddle through.
