I was lucky to conceive on our first attempt of ivf in February 2015 and we had our little girl in October 2015. Unfortunately our pregnancy was rough once we found out she had a very rare tumor. We were told we could terminate at 23wks but we decided to go ahead with the pregnancy and give her a chance. Sadly our much wanted baby girl passed away at 3wks old. We are still very determined to become parents and are doing a second icsi cycle in March. I've just been feeling a bit flat that it might not work and really need some success stories of people having more than one child via ivf, to give me hope that it can happen again. I just felt so lucky to get pregnant with our daughter that I feel our luck might be up.
Looking forward to hearing any stories xx

I'm so sorry to hear about your experience, hugs. I truly hope that your next IVF will result in a healthy pregnancy/baby. Sometimes it does takes couple cycles though, so be prepared for that, although I've seen others who just need one. I only had enough $$ for one cycle when I was ttc my second, thinking that was all I needed. Unfortunately it ended in s miscarriage. If I could do it over I would have waited to save more to try a couple times, but I'm already 34. So my advice to other people is try ivf thinking you'll need a couple cycles, but hopefully, God willing, one will be enough for you.

how bravely you came up with another decision of life.
I wish I could hug you once.

It will work out. I am sure it will. It has nothing to do with a previous cycle. Though it does depend on one thing. How healthy you are. If you really want it to work. Which I am sure you do. Then focus on it completely. Keep yourself hydrated at all times. Make some changes to your diet. Avoid Alcohol. Try eating healthy food. With loads of protein. Also, try to do yoga for half an hour. It will clam your body. It will give you positive energy. I am sure after these things it will definitely work.

No reason for it, not to! It should work out, just fine! First of all, though, congratulations on the baby. I feel really happy for you. I'm glad everything happened smoothly! I personally don't think it has any implications on trying again. I'd suggest you go for it! Good luck!

Yes, why not? It should actually work out. It makes perfect sense. Sorry to hear about your loss, though. I think you can get the examination, done. If it's all clear, then go for it. Good luck to you! Sending lots of prayers and baby dust for you! You can still do this.

I am really sorry to hear about your loss. Stay strong and positive. I hope your second cycle is a success. I would suggest that you opt for acupuncture along with the process. This will improve the quality of the eggs. Other than that make sure to visit the right doctor. The more experienced and knowledgeable the doctor the more the chances of success. Sending warm wishes your way.
