Have I gone mad? NOW with Poll!

Okay ladies, my HPT's are arriving today and I'm only 10 DPO, however I am going to give it a shot. My question is this: I actually SAVED my mornings pee in a clean glass (that will be disposed of later), put plastic wrap on it, secured it with a rubberband, and stuck it in the microwave (so my cats don't get to it).

Is this ok to use for testing or have I simply lost it?

NEVER use an actually glass cup. HcG sticks to glass so your results can be skewed.

No, youre supposed to put it in the refridgerator. Look on peeonastick.com and it will tell you that, and it also gives the reason why, so I would say to wait till the morning and use FMU

Something I read

3. Handling and/or storage conditions
a. Urine specimen should be stored in the smallest possible plastic container. Large containers (especially glass) are to be avoided as hCG sticks to the surface of containers.

b. Urine specimens may be kept at room temperature for up to 8 hours, stored refrigerated at 36-46oF (2-8oC) up to 3 days, or frozen for up to 3 months. Specimen must equilibrate to room temperature before testing.
