Faint line on FR HPT, gone 2 days later

Postby Jen3164 » Sat Mar 25, 2017 12:31 pm

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and looking for some opinions. Took a FR curved HPT 2 days ago and got a faint line. Took it again this morning and line essentially gone (see pic). AF is 3 days late as of today. I am 16 DPO. Both tests were with FMU. Has this happened to anyone? Any thoughts?

I think you should try again with a different brand, these new frer are pretty bad.
False positive are really rare but false negatives can happen so I think you should try a different brand and see what that shows.
If that shows a bfn you could experience a chemical pregnancy or that frer test was faulty.
Good luck to you!!

There is a line on that bottom test as well but it should be getting darker. I would test with a different brand.

It is also possible that when you are so early if you drank a lot in the evening you urine might be more dilute. This happened to be a few times (different brand) where lines would be lighter than I expected with FMU, but if I didn't drink anything and waited an hour or two my SMU tests were always darker.

Hopefully that is the case, the other possibility is a chemical. Fx'd for you.

UPDATE: I took a Wondfo test that was negative. AF came today. I think this may have been a chemical pregnancy. Thanks to everyone for your input and support!
