I'm using the Easy@ Home brand and am wondering if they're known to leave lines? I took a test last night and this morning and I can see extremely faint lines in both, but it's hard to tell if they're evaps or the start of something. I'm currently 9 dpo. Here is my photo from last night, untweaked and with bad midnight bathroom lighting ;).

I'm really sorry to say this but yes they do give horrific evaps. So much so that I have renamed them "evap at home". I used them two cycles ago and won't touch them or the new FRER again. Having said all of that, some people swear by them and have lots of good things happen with them. Fx for you Kathryn.

I haven't tested yet. I only have two more ICs left and I am going to wait until 12 DPO. I have spent so much money buying tests! I
If the ICs and FRER are known for evaps, and blue tests are "bad", what are people using?
It's like someone needs to make a test that turns a specific color when positive. Like yellow and blue make green, like on the newborn diapers!

LOL I agree. I use Fairhaven Health BFP brand opk's and HPT's. They're cheap and they have never given me a fake line. Having said all of that, yours could be real as lots of women say that they are really good but, just for me, they sucked big time. The worst thing was was that they showed in the time frame. :(

Those tests have to show color to be trusted. They almost always have a shadow line but they will have pink color when truly positive...

Easy@Home are pretty good tests as long as you throw them out after the time limit. They tend to leave lines after the 10m mark. I agree that they have to have colour to them before I'd take it seriously. You're still early - good luck!!

It's so frustrating to know which brand to use early on. I guess it's just safest to wait until your period is about due and then test. I'm so impatient! haha. Well I am out of the ICs, so I will wait until Friday and see if AF comes, or my temp plummets. I guess that is the most economical thing to do anyways ;).

i liked the Osom tests...they are black and pretty good stark white tests they aren't as cheap as the Wondfo but definitely more reliable

I'm currently waiting to see if my betaHCG results will be posted online this evening, then I will be able to report if those shadows meant anything.
Trying to be hopeful!!!
