Thanks Karen, I tested at 11 DPO and 13 DPO (extremely diluted) with BFN. So about 4 days ago. I think I may go out and buy one for tomorrow morning. I told DH I was going to try to wait until Friday but oh well...

And one clarification - It not that I don't have an appetite, it's that nothing sounds appealing.

OK ladies - sorry for my absence. things are crazy here.

Jane, welcome!

Karen - when will DH be home and how long does he get to stay this time? Sorry the cat had an accident :( When is your exam?

Kimmy, Claire :hi:

Jessie, excited about the cruise?? I'm so glad your scan went well.

Ashley - be careful with that guy!

Aleia - just the progesterone. I put myself on a baby aspirin and extra folic acid many weeks ago though...

They put a stent in mom's kidney system last night, and put her on dialysis, they hope that it is a temporary situation and her kidneys will kick on and start functioning on their own again. Dialysis really is an interesting and amazing thing.... the machine was even portable! She's still so tired she falls asleep in the middle of sentences, but they allowed her to sit up and stand up for a moment and even gave her some real food. All that said, she still doesn't really seem stronger or any better yet. We still don't know how bad the heart attack was, and we still don't know what the plan of action is for the kidney stones. She started crying and saying sorry when she realized yesterday that it was my birthday.... I told her not to worry, it's usually me in the hospital on HER birthday! DH ordered in outback steaks and helped me research a major paper that I had to finish that was terribly late. Oh, and my car is done, I get it back tonight after I go see mom. I am feeling well, although I had a bit of a scare this morning *TMI alert* I get these cysts....down there. They're called bartholins cysts and some of you that have been around awhile might remember that I also had some major problems with a salivary gland in my mouth last year that had to be removed. Same type of gland duct, same type of cyst, two different places. Cause unknown. Anyway...... I had a bartholins cyst again for the last week or so. It evidently ruptured when I wiped this morning and let out a whole bunch of bright red blood. With my history..... that was rather frightening to see red blood ... and it took me a few minutes to figure out that the cyst wasn't bugging me anymore and that it had ruptured and was the source of the blood. I had to go lay back down a minute I was so upset; though DH fed the birds for me so I was still on my way out at a reasonable time. Other than that I feel great..... but TIRED. I keep falling asleep at my desk. blah. Oh, and I can't shake this feeling that something will be/is wrong, but I suppose that's not so unreasonable given my history.

Dana: I hope all goes well with your mother. I wantd to tell you that I also get cysts like that. They have classified mine as Acne Inversa, but they are little cysts I get around my glands. I have to use antibacterial soap all the time instead of the kind that smells all pretty. But, long story short, when I was 8 months PG with DD I went to the bathroom to see that i was bleeding with a little bit of puss because I had an infected cyst. Well, here it had burst and I was so scared that my water was breaking and what I was seeing was the mucous plug, here it was just a cyst. I was so relieved!!! But it is a scary feeling!!!

OMG, I was just reading about acne inversa and I found a site that states it can be a sign of PCOS!!! If it wasn't for your story, Dana, i would not have even looked at that. I have never been checked for PCOS because my periods are normal. but this cite says that you can also have normal periods and have PCOS???? What do you guys think???

It's very possible, Aleia and a lot more common than people tend to think. PCOS is also one of the more easily curable causes of infertility. It definitely wouldn't hurt to ask and get checked for it.

Wow Dana, that is scary. Not the having cysts but that they can rupture and bleed that much. The only cysts I've had were on the inside. I had a large ovarian cysts that ruptured in college. It was extremely painful and I had to stay in the hospital overnight NPO b/c they thought it might be appendicitis due to the pain and its location.

Sorry ladies, BFN. It turns out I am getting sick. DH woke up this morning complaining he had a hard time sleeping too and that he had a sore throat. Now to just wait for AF.

Thanks for the prayers and good thoughts!

Morning!

Jane sorry for the BFN...good luck next cycle, although its not over yet.

Kimmy...wow I didn't realize how close we would have been...I think I'd be somewhere in 30/31 wk range by now.

Claire...you are so close to the finish line YAY!!! I can't wait to you tell us what it is...yipee!!! My friend's sister is due in 9days! She's having a boy

Dana...glad your mother is on her way to recovery, and sorry about your scare with the cysts! Glad it was nothing too serious.

Yea you guys are right...he is scary, manipulative etc....however I can't cut all communication with him just yet or at least until this cycle is over....I've been feeling weird lately...OMG I so don't need to be PG by this nutcase!!! My temps for once are scaring the CRAP out of me...I'm trying not to think about it tho so maybe nothing is wrong...I'll just keep my mind off of it and relax....then If I am PG I don't know what I will do...I've been drinking, been on antibiotics, not getting enough rest and I stopped taking prenatals and other supplements like 2 months ago. I'm kind of worried it is not an issue as to whether he'd take care of the child...because I know he would...but I don't want to be with him for obvious reasons that just came out...I'm not having many symptoms, but my BBs are sore and my abdomen seems sore like I've been doing sit ups...oh brother...it'd just be my luck...I got about 4 or 5 more days all I can do is wait now :wait:

Hey ladies, hope you're all having a good day! This week has been dragging on and I can't wait for it to be over!!

Anyway the doc's office just called w/ all my labs from Monday and they said everything was perfect and I'm healthy as an ox! Although the only thing was that my blood type is A- so I am going to have to get the Rhogam Shot at 28 weeks. After I have the baby and the baby's blood is tested, if its A- I'll get another shot...if not then everything is good! I called my Mom and she is A- too and said she had to have the exact same thing w/ me and my brother. They said its nothing to be concerened about they just do it as a precautionary so your body doesn't attack the baby! I just wanted to share that!! Everything is great!!!

Hey Jess,

I am O-, I was scheduled to get my rhogam shot at 28wks but of course I never made it but I had to get it even after my D & C...it is just so your blood won't think your baby is a foreign object but that's only if the baby's blood turns out to be a positive RH factor. You will be fine either way.

Ashley: Hi, I don't want to scare you but I was looking at your charts and it seems your temp drops every month on 8 dpo, except the month you were PG and this month! Maybe you will get your blessing after all.

Morning everyone....

Karen....LOL its so funny reading your comments and then lookin at your profile pic of your husband...its like he's sayin it LMAO!!!! That's a nice pic of him tho!

Aleia...you just terrified me!!! OMG. When I woke up this morning I didn't even want to temp because I was scared of an increase....and lo and behold ITS 98.63 up from 98.49 yesterday!!!! I also realized my temp starts dropping around 8-9dpo...and this is so opposite....it also doesn't help that PG cycle I O'd on cd 15 and this cycle I did too...aaaaagggh

AFM... I'm having mixed emotions right now....sad, but happy, happy but sad...bitting my nails pullin my hair out....but I talked to the potential dad yesterday and he's like well i know you don't want kids right now and I'm not sure if I do either..so we'll take care of it, but now I'm having second thoughts...if I am...there's no way I'd be able to stomach an abortion...I told myself I'd never do that! You know I feel like if there's something in there its for a reason and if there is something in there....he/she has survived a hell of a lot because I've been drinking every weekend and I'm not on prenatals so now I'm terrified if there is something it won't be healthy HELP i'm PANICKIN!!

Ashley: Don't panic too much girl. If it's your time to have a baby, then a baby will be in there, but I wouldn't worry too much about the drinking. I got pregnant with DD two weeks after my 21st birthday, so you can only imagine how much I drank. i did not find out I was PG until I was 6 or 7 weeks. But I do remember that the night before I took the test, I went out and purchased a rum and coke and could not even bare to take a sip of it, it was like I knew all of a sudden, but again, I was like 6 weeks at least!!! Babies come when you least expect it and if it is your time, it will happen. But I would just relax for now and see what happens, your temp dropped a little this morning so maybe nothing!! Remember that God will not give you more than you can handle! And we know you can handle a lot!!!
