Hello my friends!

My sister-in-law had her baby this morning!!! Her name is Zoe Kaye and she was born at 8:14a.m. and she is 20 inches long and 8lbs! Everyone is very tired but doing great! Of course, this whole thing gave me major baby fever, and I'm so depressed because I'm already having symptoms that AF is coming.
This month is just like every other month before this, I've been having frequent urination (which always happens after I ovulate), and yesterday I had an increase in CM, which always means that my uterine lining is getting ready to shed. I'm so bummed. Before you say that these could be pregnancy symptoms, I feel like I've grown to know my body so well these last three months that I know exactly what happens to a "t" when AF is on the way.
I believe I O'd on Monday-Tuesday, so I think Wednesday was dpo 1 and so now I should be dpo5, cycle day 18. I have a very strong feeling that either 1) because I'm older, my egg reserve is significantly diminished, or 2) my husband has sperm issues that we don't know about yet (I think he might go in for testing next month) or 3) both are true.
I know I'm feeling particularly bummed because I'm caught up in the emotion of my SIL having our neice, but I can't help it. I'm not exactly sad or anything, because if I'm not meant to have another baby, I can deal with that, I'm just a little bummed at the moment.

Cat...thanks for starting the new thread. I can't believe we're already on Part 6!! Before we know it, Jade will be having her baby...then Misti...and on from there! How exciting!!!

Hi Everyone.
Cat: I will still go to the perinatologist but that is on 04/20. In the meantime we are happy to see our beanie this Wednesday which is good :). It made me feel good when you said the u/s at the perinatologist is very detailed and interesting so hopefully it will give us a peace of mind that our beanie is doing OK.

Misit: Congrats on having a girl!! that is awesome :) I don't remember what I guessed....Cat can you let me know ?

Jen: I know how hard it is when you are trying to get pregnant and you see pregnant women around you. let alone a cute little baby .....But don't worry you will be pregnant ...even if it is any of the cases 1,2 or 3 thanks to the medical advancements out there, there are solutions. Some very easy fixes. Just talk to you obgyn and take the cd3 and cd21 blood tests and go from there ......I am positive you will get pregnant.

Jade: I am so sorry you felt bad towards the end of the day of work. Try to use the car as much as you can instead of walking and take it easy.

Good morning ladies!

Sorry I have been MIA, I was spending as much time with DH as possible before he went away again today. :(

Sara: I listed the one's who chose a girl for Misty on the other thread, I believe you were one of them, but I'll have to check. :) As for the u/s, I'm excited to hear how it goes on Wednesday!! :jump: :jump:

Jade: I hope you had a better time this weekend with working. It must be so difficult when you pg to do that kind of walking.

Jen: I so very know how you feel right now. I think if I didn't have the focus of wanting to get the lap band before I got pg, I would be devastated by all the babies being had around me. I think it's a natural feeling really. At least I hope it is! :) Hang in there friend. You have such a great plan going forward with testing DH's soldiers and what not. I think once you rule out certain things, it will be easier for you to focus on what needs to be done. I have my Fx for you this months anyway. You just never know. :hugs:

AFM: I think I may have Oed yesterday, but I'm not sure. My CM seems quite a bit less today than it has been the previous couple of days. Although I'm not trying really hard to get pg, I'm not preventing either. DH and I did BD over the weekend so you never know. :) Hope you all have a great day! :D

Jen it's still super early. My PG cycle wasn't really any different. I had non positive cycles that seemed waaaay more likely. Stay positive.

Hi Miranda! So glad to hear from you! How's the fam? What's Nolan up to?

Thanks everyone for your kinds words. The more I read about being over 35 and trying to get pregnant (some estimates are only 10%-20% wihtin 1-2 years) I got fairly depressed, but I shook it off. I have many blessings, and so I'm looking on the bright side! But seriously, thanks to all of you for your support. I can't imagine the women out there going through ttc without support!

Cat...FX for you! I know you're NTNP, but any time you're close enough in your timing, it's possible!

Sara...yay for a scan on Wednesday! If you have a pic you can share, please do! BTW, you, me and Kat all guessed girl for Misti!

Jade...I'm telling you...FOOT MASSAGE :>)

Stacy....how are you??? Where are you??

kat...miss you, love you girl!

Hey ladies, hope you're all enjoying your Monday! I just finished eating a half of a sleeve of thin mints...LOL! so at the moment I'm high on mint chocolate goodness. This belly is full...Thank goodness for yoga pants.

Jen, I hate that you are feeling bummed - but I am just not there yet for you. I still feel incredibly hopeful. Good things are coming.

Sara, can't wait to hear about your scan! Hope the week flies by so it's here before you know it :)

Catherine, hope you got some good quality time with your man before he had to go :( And here's to crossing fingers that you guys had good timing (which sounds like you did!).

Jade, let us know how today went...I agree with Jen, foot massage! :) Dear Lord those are heavenly...

Thanks for the congrats! We are so thrilled! My husband was grinning so big when the doctor said it's a girl, I thought his face would split open. It was such a busy, overwhelming, happy day. Hubby is scanning some pics so I can share soon!

Hope you're all having a great day!

Morning ladies,

sorry i wasn't on yesterday, i can't believe how busy this job is making me. I'm only doing 15hrs a week but trying to juggle it with looking after dd is keeping me busy!

Misti, so funny! I'm eating mint chocolate as i'm typing this! Have you thought of any names yet?

Jen, It will happen! I have faith. We are here for you through it all!! Congrats to you SIL.

AFM, Like i just said, i'm mega busy! Plus trying to get organised for my bros wedding on Saturday.
My back is pretty bad at the mo. I'm going to try and have a back massage next week with a lady who comes and does my MIL. Shes brilliant.
I thought i would post a pic of the beach i was working near on Saturday. I didn't take this pic, its from google but the weather was as good as this. Which is mad for April in England. So it wasn't so bad working! We have several beaches around us, we're very lucky!

Jade, that beach is gorgeous. Exactly what I would picture a beach in England to look like! That's some seriously good scenery you have while on the clock LOL. I can definitely see how 15 hours can swallow up your time before you know it, especially since you have a little one to chase after!! We had a few names picked out several weeks ago. The two girl names we like most are family names after my great grandmothers: Ella Jewel (and call her Elle) and Addison Mae (and call her Addi).

Ladies!!! Are we losing some steam here? I haven't heard from Stacy in a while, Kat seems to be gone and we all are only posting about/maybe once a day. Which is fine, but I certainly miss folks!

I guess I'll just talk about myself. I have a question for Cat...does the progesterone cream make your boobs hurt? I increased my dosage for this cycle, when I discovered that when I used it two cycles ago I wasn't using enough to make a difference, and now my boobs are tender. I know that it's causing my heat-up, that's an easy guess, but I wasn't sure about the tender bbs.

Girls! I've lost four lbs! I wasn't getting consistent results with weight loss at the beginning of the year and I got in a funk. Finally, I found a website "from couch to 3k in 3 months" and it has a regimen to get me running a 3k in 3 months. I want to run for fun more than races, but it's a nice perk. Anyway, I'm finding myself so motivated! Yay!

Hey ladies!!
Happy Tuesday. Sorry I have been MIA, My asst has been out (in vegas) at work and I have been really busy. Was also working last week at getting DSS into preschool in the fall.
Jen-Remember....until AF shows, anything can be! :)
Cat-Thanks for starting this new thread. I tried to keep up on the last few pages of the last thread. Im sorry its such a touchy situation with your DSD. I really hope that it all works out for the best.
Misti-Congrats on the girl :) One of our choices for a girl is Addison as well. I like that name.
Sara-Yay for your scan tomorrow, it will come fast!

AFM-Light headedness has started. It was happening when I bend over (loading dishes or doing laundry). Although yesterday just sitting at my desk at work it came on real strong. I called my doc and she says all is normal and to eat more protien because its probably low blood sugar.
She said it usually happens between 14-20 weeks and all I can do is make sure Im eating more. I did have my 4 month check up last Friday. Got to hear babies HB for the first time, it was 145. Our next appt is 5/2 and we will be finding out the sex at that one. Pretty excited about that one. So since DH got this job he is in training during the day for 6 weeks so I see him now and again (cause he works in the same building as me). Although then he will move to nights. We have a guest bedroom right now that we were going to give that bed to DSS since its bigger than his (he has a futon) and make that room the babies room... well that is the only bed that our dog is allowed in cause he sheds so much.. so anyways... I have made a new plan to keep that room around as long as possible so that I can sleep with the dog on the nights DH is working. I know it prob sounds dumb but it will just make me feel better. :) Well I am going to get back to work and I hope all you wonderful ladies have a great day.

Jen, that is kicka$$! I'm loving the motivation! I did the couch to 5k program and really enjoyed it. I repeated some of the weeks if I didn't feel ready to move on. I was never really a runner unless something was chasing after me...but found that I liked the challenge from that program! Yayyy keep us posted!

Stacy, can't believe you will be finding out what you're having in less than a month, so exciting!!! Hope the light-headedness improves for you!Even though you kinda know what causes it, it's still scary to me! And I let my puppies sleep with me when my hubby is gone too - They are feet warmers :)

Stacy...so good to hear from you! Can't wait until that gender scan! Glad you get to see DH some more, and I totally understand about the dog/sleep thing. My husband works nights and I almost always sleep alone, but my dogs are right there with me. They're too fat to jump up onto the bed, but they're right next to me on the floor. lol.

Misti...I'm lovin' it too, actually, I've always liked exercise and the feeling it gives me, but it usually takes me getting into a routine to commit to it. I'm hoping to commit to it for life now!
