Morning ladies,

Cat, i'm sorry. I wish it was better news. I hope the surgery,if you have it, can sort any problems out. thinking of you.

Jen, Well done on the paper and the tickets!! You'll have fun. I'm not a big Beatles fan but i do like some of their songs. I also love that Ringo does the narrating on a kid programme call Thomas the Tank Engine. He's done it since i was a kid. Don't know if you have seen it.

Misti, glad you had a great time at the beach.

Miranda, i'm patiently waiting for you tests! FX!

AFM, had a great weekend but not a great day yesterday. Both me and DH are getting a little fed up with our situation. He's still no further forward with the job situation, just waiting but as well as that we are now thinking beyond that to sorting out the house. If he gets a job here then we have to face 2 possibilities- 1)we sell it for less than its worth or 2) we rent it out but won't be able to get enough to cover the mortgage and then we will have to rent a smaller place here. Its a no win situation. I'm worried about DH, he can sink into depression if things get to much and i can see him beginning to sink. Its horrible, i can't talk to him as i feel i'm adding to it but i don't have anyone else to talk to as i can't talk to our families as they get upset at the thought of us leaving. My mum cries everytime its mentioned. I'm glad i've got you ladies to vent at. sorry if i always seem to be grumbling.
other than that i'm good though! baby is kicking and moving loads. I'm sleeping better and my back isn't hurting as much. DD is getting very mobile! i do not think it will be long before she's walking unaided.
One other bit of gossip is we think my evil sil is pregnant or will soon be pregnant. She lent me pregnancy books when i was pg with DD and she txt me to ask for them back. The thought of her pregnant really bugs me, they can barely afford the baby they have! Plus its hard to think shes not just doing it for attention. Which is a horrible thing to say but she is like that. She loves being centre of attention and i think with me pregnant, she's feeling left out. Plus none of us reacting to her nonsense anymore. We're just ignoring her which i don't think she likes lol.

Hope you all have a great day!

Thanks Jade and Stacy. I'm kind of numb about the whole thing at the moment (could be because it's almost 1am here). Earlier, I would cry a little when I thought about it. It's just not a position I ever thought I would be in.

Jade - Don't ever apologize for venting to us. That's what we're here for. You have some very difficult choices, ones any of us would be having a hard time with. Just out of curiosity: 1. Are you guys currently paying the mortgage on the house? 2. Do you have to move out of your MIL's because of space, or is it just that you guys need your own space? 3. If you stay around where you are right now, are you thinking about renting your own place there? Sorry if I'm being nosey. I was just trying to wrap my brain around exactly what the situation is to see if I can't offer any kind of solutions, or at least ideas.

Cat, so sorry about all that overwhelming news. I know it's hard to focus on the good half you mentioned, but I'm going to anyway - sounds like if your tubes are viable then you can totally carry a baby! I'm sure it seems like a long road ahead since you have the other issues going on too. But we aren't ever giving up on you! :) This is one of those weird pregnancy stories, but my mom had her tubes burned (not tied, lol she wanted to be done with 'em after 4 kids!) and she also had some kind of surgery from uterine problems where doc said she wouldn't be able to get pg if she wanted to...anyway, lo and behold four years later came my baby sister. With no tubes and like a quarter-functioning uterus or something. Crazy! We're here for you anytime you start feeling defeated!!

Jade, hate to hear you guys are having a rough go of it. I hope your DH hears something soon about the jobs. I know where we live, it's not uncommon to wait 2-3 weeks before hearing something sometimes. You always have us to vent to!! I think we all use each other for that and it's perfect :) Glad the baby is staying happy and active and you're sleeping better. Too funny about the evil sil...from what you've described I wouldn't put it past her, seeking attention!

Sara, that gender scan will be here before you know it! I felt like my wait was forever too, but as long as I stayed busy it truly crept up on me out of nowhere. What do you think it is?? Everyone told me I should have an inkling, but I absolutely had no idea!

How are you other ladies doing? Hope the week is going well so far!

The baby's crib came in last night! :jump: My hubby is painting the nursery this weekend and hopefully we'll get the crib pieced together. It's just a plain white crib, but I love it...something so "baby" about a white crib!

I have the big glucose test tomorrow...I'm super nervous about it because my sister failed hers, and I know about the genetic connection there. Also because I'm a nutritionist and I know everyone there, I feel like they'll be saying...OMG the nutritionist failed her glucose test!? LOL like when you catch the cardiologist chain smoking or eating a double cheeseburger ;) Anyway, it's tomorrow at 9 am so keep fingers crossed for me!!

Cat sorry the news wasn't as good as you hoped but on the positive side it seems as if there is a really good chance they can do something to help!!! Fingers crossed for you.

Jade I hope hubby gets a job soon. Vent away!

Misti you'll have to post pics of the nursery progress!! I failed the 1 hour glucose and passed the 3hr. That's really common. I was 130lbs before pregnancy and all the weight I gained went to the belly so it's not like I was over eating or anything!

Jen: It is really exciting that you won the tickets and you and the family are going to see to the festival :). I am sure it is going to be really fun :).

Cat: I am going to follow Misti and focus on the good part. Your FSH is normal which is very important that means your ovary is still producing viable eggs. In the case of your tubes, they are not sure what is exactly going on yet. I hope you get to schedule the surgery soon so the doctor can get in there and determine the situation. It may very well be that one of your tubes is still viable or they can fix the one they think is blocked. Then a simple clomid pill would take care of you ovulating for sure. I would not give up hope yet.........Hang in there..we are all here for you.

Misti: You need to post nursery progress pics. I would love to see them. I can not wait to find the gender and time can not go any slower. Two more week ........... Once I find out I am going to start planning the nursery. Like you, I have no clue what the baby is......Everyone tells me they think it is a boy..how they know beats me......:). GL on your glucose test...I have my fingers crossed for you everything will go just fine :)

Jade: We are always here when you want to vent.....Hopefully DH will hear from the jobs soon and you will find a housing arrangement that works well for your needs.....

Stacy: It must be very exciting to see the baby move inside your belly. I hope that happens to me soon. I have not felt the baby move yet and I can not wait for it to happen.

AFM: Nothing special. Just happy for the 4 day weekend we have starting on Friday. I also have an OB appointment tomorrow morning .....can wait to hear Beanie's heartbeat......

Hi ladies,

Cat, to answer your questions 1) yes we are paying a mortgage on the house 2) My in-laws have a large house and are lovely-i'm actually really lucky! It would have been hell if we had to live with my mum but i'm just so ready to for us to have our own house now. I think i have to face facts that if we do stay here then we are not getting our own place until after the baby is born.3)Yes we think we will rent even if we sell our house as the market is so crap at the mo plus we plan to save so we can have a bigger deposit for when we do buy.
Hope you are feeling a little happier today. I agree with the others. Try to look on the positives. I know thats probably not easy to do.

Jen, funny you brought up the beatles, i heard an interview today with Ringo and he was at the Chelsea flower show(very famous gardening competition) talking about how he loves gardening - very rock and roll lol!

Misti, I hope you do post pics of the nursery, i love them!! I wish we could do that! I loved getting my DD room ready for her arrival. Good luck for the glucose test.

Sara, have a good weekend. We have another bank holiday on Monday so we have a long weekend coming too.

AFM, not much today, We've decided to not to focus on whats going on until DH hears about his job. We can make a decision until we know anyway so theres no pointing stressing ourselves out.

Misti: Any news from your glucose test???

Cat: Hope you are feeling better today.....

Jade: Don't stress yourself out too much. You are right about waiting to see how things turn out. Hopefully everything will turn out to the best.

AFM: I had my appointment, heard Beanie's heartbeat :) which was nice and strong. Can not wait for the start of our long weekend. Today is our actual anniversary and we are going out to our favorite Thai food restaurant to celebrate.

Hope all you girls have a wonderful long weekend :).

Hey girls! How's it going today? Thanks for the "good lucks" on the test. I took it at 9 and almost puked up that nasty orange crap. Gross! The lab tech stood there staring me down while I drank it like I was going to pour it into the potted plant in the waiting room. LOL...well it did cross my mind!

I'm so ready for this long weekend as well!!! I'll definitely post some nursery pics soon, should be well underway by Monday!

Sara- glad you got to hear that tiny, speedy heartbeat! So special! I heard mine today as well! And everytime my doctor touched me she started karate kicking him! We couldn't stop laughing. No news about the test yet, I had to go to a lab in the hospital next door to my dr's office. He told me he would call me if it was abnormal so I'm just FX today!

Jade- absolutely, no point in stressing yet...put your feet up and relax, mama :) Oh wait...you're chasing after a sweet little rascal all day aren't you! LOL

Hi Ladies!

Sorry I've been so MIA. I've been dealing with this stupid cold, transcribing, and antics of an almost 8 year old. Just haven't had it in me to post.

Miranda - You're totally pg!!!!! How exciting!!! First month back on the TTC bandwagon and you scored yourself a BFP!!!!! :jump: :jump: :jump: :jump:

Hope you all are having a great holiday weekend!!!
