Oh ladies, we are so close to being done. Next week DH and I take our last classes, and almost all of our paperwork is now in order. We are just waiting to turn in our driving records. DH will be getting his medical clearance this Friday, then all that is left is our fire inspection before we can go on the homestudy list. So close I can feel it. I am so excited.

A belated Happy Thanksgiving! We are having our appliance, gas, and fire inspections over the next two weeks, and then we will be on the home study list. :) It won't be long and maybe we'll hear our placement bell ringing :)

Just wanted to say hello. We passed our gas inspection and are trying to expedite our fire inspection because the agency wants us on the home study list by 12/31. How is everyone and their darling little ones doing?

Auberry! I was literally JUST thinking about you and wondering if we ("I" really- since it seems the other ladies have gotten busy) were going to hear from you soon--- and then I checked my email and saw that this page had been updated. :)
I'm glad to hear things are on track! I hope you get placement soon!

Other ladies!? I'd love to hear how things are going for you all as well!

Hi ladies! Long time no talk...miss you all! Auberry, sounds like it's getting so close! I can't wait for your bell to ring for you :)
Mommy, how's Tucker? Getting so big??

I had my HSG today. My RE basically said they messed up and should have done it before any of my other fertility treatments (meds, IUI, etc). Anyways, all was normal so back to the waiting game. Otherwise, all is good :)
Me: 31, labs/HSG normal, shorter cycles (22-26 days average).

TTC #1- so everything was normal? Are you in the TWW?

Tucker is getting big. Yesterday he was walking around in shoes outside... Which now that I type that doesn't seem all that terrific, but I assure you it was! He's been walking since he was 7ish months old but to have shoes on was quite a feat for him! It was a mommy moment I guess ;)

Would love updates from you all if you get the chance!

Awww, yay Tucker! Can't believe he's walking!! Time really flies.

Not in the TWW yet, waiting to O. HSG was normal, so they'll start me back up on Clomid next cycle with different hormones for the TWW and another round of IUI. Impatiently trying to be patient...

TTC#1 are you using OPK's? Planning to do smep? Or any other stuff like that?! (It's been a long time since I've used any TTC language ;) ) Do you BBT? I just recently picked my thermomemeter back up --- but more to prevent than anything. hubs isn't quite ready (well technically our bank account isn't) for another little one right now. I'm actually in the TWW now. I didn't realize my body would so quickly go from zero periods for 18 months to right back on schedule once the breastfeeding stopped delaying things and we got a little closer to my fertile window than we planned. My luck 5 days out from O will not only = pregnant but it'll probably be twins and we will have to go bankrupt. Kidding really. We'd love another one but it would be nice to plan a bit like we were able to with Tucker. ;)

Would love some distractions! Any one else out there?

Not sure what happened but I thought I replied to this, and apparently I didn't! Sorry to leave you hanging, Mommy! After our last IUI (Feb 2014) when we decided to take a break, I put down the BBT, OPK's, SMEP, all of it. It was just stressing me out too much. I just go by my cm, which I've gotten to know quite well after all of that monitoring. Just kinda going with the flow now. We did hear from our RE today. He's starting me back on Clomid, doing an IUI and adding Estrace and Prometrium to try and lengthen my cycle. Here's to hoping!
How nice for you, that this time around-you know the drill? You're a pro now, so when you are ready-hopefully it's wam, bam, done!! :) That's a great idea the way you're doing it though, to ease back into the monitoring and such before you're actually trying. Smart!

Auberry, are you still with us?

TTC#1- glad that your RE is staying on top of it :) would love to be buddies again even though this board has died down quite a bit.

So, I'm thinking about writing a pamphlet for life after birth... There is SO much out there that NO ONE tells you. Ha. Like periods when breastfeeding- they come back but are not normal at all! I had ALL signs of O but apparently the flu threw things off and my temps rose as they should but I was seemingly 20 DPO and kinda freaking out. Anyway- AF finally made her appearance and is on her way out--- hopefully this cycle will be better tracked because my DH would freak if we got pregnant again so soon. (Which, is another thing someone should warn breastfeeding moms about- DH gets jealous of the baby hogging all the boob ;) )

Anyway! Auberry- how are you? How's the family? Any updates?!
