Bummer. Those stupid bfn's are just plain mean. Still early, though (for both of us). I'm holding on to hope!

So I thought I was okay and I'd distract myself, but I failed. I Keep reading posts about people who got BFN's at 10 DPO on FReR's and later got their BFP. So now I'm all hopeful again. :| I blame the snow day. If I were busy at school I would totally not even be thinking about this! Grrr

Aubbery- have you had any news on fostering?! Last you posted you were all set up and approved and just waiting. Man- waiting is so sucky!

Hi Mommy, TTC. I am still with y'all. For some reason I can't get the board to send me an email when there are replies. I haven't read the new posts all the way through, but I can tell you that we are lisenced to adopt now and are waiting on a placement. Hurry up and wait seems to be all there is in this journey right now.

Everyone in my church mommy group is finding out they are preggers. It is a little depressing, but God knows best, we will hear our bells when it is His time.

Hi Auberry! Congrats on your licensure...that's so exciting! You've overcome so many big hurdles with this process and it seems that you are so close. Will say a special prayer that your precious placement is right around the corner. Hugs!!

Thanks TTC#1! Yes, I broke down and tested 11 DPO but was soooo sure I was out. My chart was a fricking mess, my temps were very rocky post O, and I tested merely so I could stop obsessing (you know, "i'll know AF is on her way and i'll take a couple weeks off and think about ANYTHING else!"). I even watched the sample pass and when I didn't see an immediate development I set it down and walked away. I was stunned when I went back to toss it.

I am still stunned. I know some people get super excited, but both times I have had an overwhelming feeling of shock. It's just crazy. One day, all of a sudden, you are creating life. So weird! Obviously very excited, but I'm still adjusting to the idea. How could I ever have enough love for two babies?!? I know its possible but its just... wow.

Anyway- HOw are you ladies? I've missed updates but things have obviously slowed down on this thread. Where are you TTC#1?
Auberry- how are you feeling? Is there anything you can do to up your chances of placement? I know when my friends adopted, getting their name out there was a big deal... they even made little cards to pass out to people. Is there anything like that you can do for getting placed?

Mommy2B, Congrats!

Right now all I can really do is wait. I can send emails and call our placement worker occasionally to make sure they remember our name, but that is about it. I like to run up to the agency to ask questions, turn in paperwork in person, just so they see me, talk to me, get to know me, so that I am more than just a name on paper when they start making phone calls. Thankfully our agency office is only twenty minutes away so I can do this. We received our actual lisence today, which we have to hang on the wall to show we are legal. I am so nervous right now.

I don't know if anyone still checks these, but I had to tell someone and this was my go to place for so long that I came back.
My cycle is late. About three days late. I tested this morning (not first morning urine though, I had drunk a bunch of tea and water before I tested) and BFN, but I am still holding out for a miracle since my symptoms are all wacky, occasional light cramps, cervix high and closed, lots of CM including EWCM. I don't really want to hope because I don't want the disappointment again, but there is that part that wants to take all symptoms and run with it.

We have had a couple of potential adoption placements this year, but all of them have gone back to their family's. As hard as I try to lay TTC aside, I still pray every day for a miracle baby. So just pray, pray for God's will and for peace if nothing else, and for a miracle baby BFP if you are so inclined...

Hope everyone is well

Hi Auberry! I was so excited to get the alert that you had posted in the thread. I've thought of you often and wondered where you were in the adoptions process and what's been going on in your world! I will certainly say many prayers that this is your miracle BFP, it all sounds so great!

I'm assuming you've had some foster kiddos in your home, since you said they went back to their families? That can't be easy. Can't even imagine the different you're making in their lives, even if only for a short time. Hugs to you! So great to hear from you :) Keep me posted!!
