Kelley- So sorry the witch came late! Super B.
I am also on the fence about another IUI....It seems like it is just a money grab. Thankfully they are relatively affordable here $350 plus trigger shot $110. It is a far cry from the extreme cost of IVF but they definitely do not have high success rates....
We are in the early contemplative IVF stages. I keep holding onto hope that it will happen before then.
I awoke extremely heavy/sad in my heart today. I should be at home breast feeding my little one instead of stuck at work:(

I'm so sorry Orangecat! I understand your sadness and disappointment all too well.

Well my first cycle off clomid was a bust I think. I started seeing a faint second line on my OPK then it disappeared and I started spotting brown. What does it mean when you have dark spotting for several days in a row without any AF signs? Im not sure if this is AF or what.
I have a feeling we're about to move on to IUI but I'm paralyzed by fear lately. I just want to not be in this position in the first place. Ugh.

Orangecat I am so sorry you are feeling down. :hugs: It's like there is a constant reminder every day that we can't have what we want so badly. I think sometimes too what I would be doing right now if I had created babies instead of angels.
My second BFP came on my first loss due date in November. I was so excited, like it was a sign, my rainbow. But then that one grew wings too.

Im surprised that iui doesn't have a better success rate. I mean tsking the best swimmers and by passing e everything should be good :-) but hu by and decided we would start femera on our first cycle of 2015 which should be in couple days. I just would like to see how well I respond to a couple of mg before we add the iui too it. Probably won't be monitoring this time but will run some blood work once ovulation confirmed. Any ladies up here wit or without pcos with weak Ovulation progesterone level 5-8? May I ask what mg your Dr started in? Back in 2011 I did clomid 100mg with no response I don't think, Dr never bothered to truly confirm. Will I start higher?

Those of you ladies who have done rounds of clomid I was wondering if any of you have ever tried soy isoflavones, they say its natures clomid.
I have been taking it for 4 cycles now and am really impressed by it! Before taking it my cycles would be anywhere from 60+ days even as long as 8 months sometimes but the last 4 cycles on soy have been between 28 and 36 days!!

Oh hi mommabear1! Cant wait til you can join us more. @cd1988 ive heard mixed info about soy saying one time it can harm infertility but more that ot helps. Is it because of the type of soy is. My SIL used to do nothing but soy milk and still got pregnant easily 3x. All her kids are on soy formula....ive though about but as long as its a pill im good. I cant eat soy burgers or certain things soy based, makes me sick and milk makes my throat itch so I stay away. But I will look it up.

Mt2sea- I don't have PCOS- prior to femara progesterone was 5- first round was 5mg with one dose menopur added- did not respond well and had to add 2 extra doses of menopur. Second round femara upped to 7.5mg and one dose menopur, was ready to go quickly with two good follies. I had a nonstop headache on round two with the higher dose. Monitoring seems to be a good way to go- round one I had two okay follies and my progesterone was 70 at 7dpo. Round two had 2-3 good follies and my progesterone was 25.
Good luck on your new cycle!
CB- I have soy ISO in the cabinet but haven't gotten up the nerve to take it. I have regular cycles but (maybe) weak O so I'm afraid to screw up my cycles. I'm glad to hear it has worked for you! I read great things on some old blogs I googled.

Mt2sea, I guess soy iso is like everything... There's good and bad to it :) personally its worked well for me for regulating my cycles. I was really sceptical at first but am glad I took it!

Kelley, they do say if you have regular cycles its not advisable to take soy iso because there's a chance it could mess your cycle up but I guess you won't know unless you try :) there's a lot of ladies with regular cycles it has worked for too.

Thank you kelly21 great advice :-) I do have pcos but very regular cycles 28-32 days and I ovulate but very week. I remember to ask about me menopur. Tempted to go up to 7.5mg straight away but I will start with 5mg hopefully and by the iui phase I most definately will monitor. Im curious why once cycle you progesterone was nice and high in the 7-10 a and another round 25. I know 25 is good, but if follicles must have something to do with that too.
Cd1988pm I will keep that in mind about the soy working for reg cycles too bill try to do more research. Thanx so much :-)

I shared this on the blog already, but I just wanted to share it here too..
I came across this blog today, and it was very interesting to me and I was so surprised to actually come across some fertility helpfulness that I haven't heard of yet. I am seriously considering doing it, the only down side is that you have to not be trying on the cycles you do it, but since I have pretty much come to terms with that the fact that I cannot get pregnant with such a crappy uterine lining, I've giving myself six months off, to hopefully teach my body to build up a healthy lining. So I am not technically trying anyway, (although strongly hoping and still thinking about it quite often)

I also think I am going to start temping again, just so I have a full years chart if worst come to worst and I am not pregnant or holding a precious baby by the end of this year.

Cb- I tried soy way back when. I didn't notice a difference one way or another. I do O on my own as far as they can tell. (Or I have all of the times I have had it tested...too many to count!) Clomid was not my friend in more ways than one. I am currently on CD 6 and have one more day of letrazole to go!

Potatoes- I am currently steaming my V as I type! I first started V steaming last Sept. I enjoy it:). The herbs in my pot today are rosemary, mint and red raspberry leaf.

Orangecat, how often do you steam? And do you know what benefits the herbs you use have? I read any a couple places, that you should not do a V steam whilst actively trying in the lp.

During TTC you should never steam during LP. From what I have read as soon as AF leaves and right before O is the way to go! (2 times a cycle) I don't recall what the herbs specifically do...I usually just use what I happen to have:)
