Hey girls!

Congrats Jessica!!! I'm so happy for you! :yay: How are you doing/feeling? So exciting...I wish I was TTC again sometimes. I loved being pg! Beautiful scan of the baby!!

Sept, I cannot express how glad I am to hear that everything is going so well for you! I can't wait to find out if you are having a boy or a girl! Are you getting any vibes as to which it may be?

Hi Mand, I'm so glad you and Priya are doing well :)

Arabella and I are doing great. She just turned one, ahhh! She is still a little peanut at 17 pounds. She is almost walking and starting to say quite a few new words. She is starting to sign more as well. I attached a pic from her birthday!

Oh van those eyes!! She is so pretty happy 1st birthday arabella....

All going well until 27 weeks....baby is fine, but I developed spd. I think I had it since 9 weeks looking back as always had severe hip pain early and agony turning in bed but a few weeks ago my pelvis gave up and legs starting collapsing as gap in pubic bone widening too early hence unstable pelvis and I couldn't walk. Went to hospital as pressure was unreal and I couldn't walk. SPD , support belt, physio, now crutches and basically housebound and I can't do anything. It is really getting me down. But what can I do. I feel like I am letting the baby down and I feel so useless  I just never expected this to happen at 27 weeks.....ugh.

Anyway rant over. How is eoe

Van, she is gorgeous!!

Sept, I feel your pain. I found out I have a condition which causes hypermobility and I wear a support belt all the time and go to physio as well. It's super frustrating. I hope it goes away once the baby is born for you.

Hi ladies! Not much new here... decided to check in! :)
Pri is almost 2.5 now, holy cow does the time fly by! She's at such a fun age. We are looking at booking a trip to Disney in November. Work is work. Life is pretty good and I'm blessed so I cannot complain at all.

Van - She is so gorgeous!!! A year old already? How is this possible?

Sept - SPD is so painful, I cannot imagine how that must be to live with. I have occasional SP pain even now that makes me cringe at times, and it's so occasional that I shouldn't even have a right to complain!

We've been TTC #2 since August, except for 2 months where I waited because of a friend's wedding (which I completely regret now). I think it will take a while. We wanted to try sooner but it took a long time to heal and then I had some work issues so I'm feeling really behind.
I think if we don't have luck in the next little while we will just try and move straight to clomid.

Hey girls good to hear from you all. I am 38 +1 weeks now and had a cervix check yesterday as I felt like my cervix had been prepping the last week and it was soft and 70% effaced doc went straight ahead to do a sweep without asking me gee thanks...as I am dosed with a viral infection (flu like) and wasn't ready for labour yet. Was getting very uncomfortable round lower abdomen this evening and just noticed some brown paste like discharge on liner when I went to loo. I am so sick I don't think I am able for labour or to look after a baby. Please pray baby hangs on for another few days as I am sweating, burning up, flu like symptoms and no energy on top Of The spd! Should I expect to go into labour soon or will this be just a start of a show. It was a small amount of brown paste like discharge. No waters broke yet or contractions and I feel baby moving.

OK so I went back to doc as I started coughing up nasty yellow mucus and cough was so chesty heavy and sore I couldn't handle it. I have developed a secondary bacterial respiratory infection since the viral one doc put me on antibiotics. This afternoon I started getting back cramps that were suspicious and the period cramps continued. Went to look after back cramps and mucus plug came away when I wiped. Brown jelly like defo show/mucus plug. I am not well enough for labour but looks like I have no choice. No water breaking yet or regular contractions but occasional tightening of belly. I may not go into labour for a few days yet but the cramping is suspect. Eek. I can only walk a metre or 2 to bathroom with spd now, no hope of me being on a ball or being able to shower.

Fx you start feeling better soon. It can still take a little while to go into labour even after you lose your plug. Get your stuff ready just in case though. My water broke (just a little, not a big sploosh like in the movies) and within 15 mins I was in agony. I've heard this is not typical though. I was losing pieces of my plug for a good week or two before hand and the OB did two sweeps in the weeks leading up to it.

SPD is horrible. I still suffer every day, but again it's my JHS so it won't go away really. Once the baby comes it might still take a while to get better and you might need some physiotherapy if it doesn't. It doesn't help that you are carrying a ton of weight around right now though.

Hopefully the antibx will kick in quickly and you can rest up before the baby comes.

Let us know how you get on.

hey b. Thanks. It sucks you still suffer from spd it is such a horrible thing. Yeh I am hoping I get some definite contractions before my waters break as I feel labour might come on very quick for some reason. Nothing happening so far this evening and no more plug or discharge or fluid leaking but keeping an eye on it. I know I could still be in limbo for a few days or a week but hopefully not much longer and enough time so that I feel better. Looks like I will still be on antibiotics when baby comes.
