Emma, yeah I'm waiting to hear back from my doctor. She's my regular OB/GYN, not my RE. I haven't gone to him yet. My guess is she'll probably suggest I go back and make an appointment and I would like to talk with him anyway to discuss some of this stuff. It's just so frustrating and I'm trying to be positive, but it's hard. Kevin was sick this weekend too and I had to work so it's been a trifecta of crap. Thankfully I'm taking a long weekend and that should help me recover some of my spirit.

No scan for me today...whomp whomp. The doctor I saw today said I wouldn't get another one until the anatomy scan at 18 weeks. We got to hear the heartbeat again though, it was at 164, so that was great. She also didn't have me do the glucose test, instead they checked my A1C level and will determine if I need to do the glucose test early based on that since I have no history of GD. So, that's about it for now and so far things seem to be going fine.

Steph, I agree that something needs to change and probably best to go back to the RE and see what he says about all this. I'm sorry you're so frustrated, hopefully the long weekend will help.

Hi Steph - I really hope you also get some well deserved time this weekend for you. See if your Dr will refer you to the RE and take it from there... It worked before and it will work again! :hugs:

Oh Shannon, it really sucks when you don't get to see baby. I haven't seen my boy since my 20 week US because my Dr only checked cervix and placenta and heartbeat... I have an appointment next week Tuesday with a new Ob/Gyn who is only 10 min away. I hope he's good!
Great news on not having to do the awful glucose test... they don't even offer it in the U.K. so it was new for me.

Things are not going well for me  The pain is getting worse and I'm slowly realising how little I can do around the house and with Mia. I'm so frustrated and it's so debilitating right now I just don't know how to get through the next 3 months. Current Dr said there's nothing he can do for me other than keep me off my feet as much as possible and I can opt for a c-section at 37 weeks.
It's not at all what I want. Let's see what the new Dr says next week.

Emma, Could a chiropractor help with the pain? I've never done it, but other people I know swear by it. Also thanks, yeah, my quant from Monday came back <1 which is obvious since AF came. I'm thinking after this weekend, I'll call the RE and make an appointment and just discuss things with him. So frustrating, I clearly have no problem getting pregnant its just making it stick.

I don't think so Steph, my pain comes from engorged veins and my Dr said there's nothing I can do until baby is born, and then it will go away. It's just managing it until then :(

I hope everyone is doing well/ feeling better! One day at a time!

Graduated from my RE yesterday! They moved my due date up a day and said everything looks good with baby. They took me off the progesterone, and I have my first appt with my regular gyno next week. I am still feeling horribly sick most of the time, but getting through the best I can. How is eoe?

Hey ladies,

Onto CD 11, nothing really to report. My OB/GYN has not said anything further. DH and I decided we'd go one more cycle and then I'll make an appointment with the RE. I don't need referrals with my insurance so I'm just going to do what I think I need to do. In other news we had a great extended weekend with my family and now I'm back to work. Definitely did not want to wake up this morning. Back to the grind though.

Happy Friday ladies, hope everyone is doing well.

Steph - ahhh, I have everything crossed for you! Hopefully you won't have to make the appt with the RE :)

Liz - Congrats on graduating from the RE, how did the first appt go?

Emma - How are things with you? I bet Mia is getting so excited with the time getting closer.

AFM - nothing new here, just cruising along and life is crazy busy. I have another appt next week, but no scan at that one, so nothing too exciting just a check up.

Hi ladies,

Sorry for being quiet, just trying to get through each day but I’m really struggling emotionally and physically. My new Ob/Gyn said there’s nothing he can do and from his side, everything with baby looks great so I just need to wait it out. The problem is, he just doesn’t see how much pain I’m in everyday and I’m not going to be fit enough to have a baby by December
My midwife added tape to lift my tummy a little to try and reduce pressure.
I’m going to see a specialist in hospital on Wednesday for another opinion.

Liz - congrats on graduating, hope you’re feeling well. Good luck with prenatal results!

Steph - still keeping everything crossed for you.

Shannon - 3 more weeks to your US! I hope it passes quickly for both of us. Are you going to find out gender?

Emma, do you wear any support now? Maybe they can recommend something else to help. Hopefully that appointment helps. I know I'd be talking to anyone I can if I was in as much pain as you are. I'm so sorry you're dealing with that.

Thanks for the support. I've been temping this cycle and my chart looks pretty good, just have to hope my temps continue to stay up. AF should be due on the 18th so we will see what happens. I don't plan on testing at all, I'll just watch what my temps do and go from there. This time I started taking them vaginally and it's just way more consistent then when I did orally. So fingers crossed.

How's everyone else? I'm so tired today. Poor Kevin was up in the middle of the night, either from congestion or teething. He's been a drooling mess for weeks and just chews on everything. Poor kid!

Gosh Emma I certainly hope the specialist today can help you out. Let us know how it goes. We plan to find out the gender at the scan if this little one cooperates. We've thrown around the idea of waiting to find out, but I know I won't be able to wait.

Steph - fingers crossed for you, your chart looks great so far. I hope Kevin is feeling better.

Liz - Good luck with the test results, keep us updated!

Shannon, he's doing much better, but has the typical runny nose. The past two days though I've been feeling down and just emotional. Like anything sappy makes me want to cry. And the past two days my temps have been going down, but we'll just keep checking, but I know if they continue to fall it's likely AF will arrive. Today is rainy and gross too so that is not improving my mood.

I would find out haha, I like being prepared so I don't think I could wait.
