Steph- thanks for the support too. Sorry your mood is low at the moment, I hope it improves as your hormones shift. Perhaps a nice soak in the bath followed by a big glass of wine or hot chocolate if you’re not drinking! Glad Kevin is doing better.

Shannon - I did expect you’d find out the gender, you’re just not the waiting type :D

Liz - any news on your results yet? FX!

So, I went to see the Chief Ob/Gyn at the hospital this morning and he said there’s not much chance of me pushing baby boy out with my condition and doesn’t recommend it. So after a good talk we have planned a C-Section for 38 weeks. He was very sympathetic and kind and I’m so pleased I pushed to go to him because my other ‘new’ Dr just left me to get on with it. In his words ‘everything with the baby is good’ But what about me, I’m not good and I’m not coping!

He also offered support for the next 6 weeks by means of hospital gymnastic to help keep the muscles soft and massage therapy for the pain. I also have to wear compression stockings every day to help blood flow - sexy stuff!
It’s not at all what I wanted but I know it’s my best option and I now have a plan and the right support to get me through the next 7 weeks!! Now I just need to prepare myself mentally for this!

I wore compression socks to prevent blood clots, they're super sexy! Hahaha. Glad you're getting the support you need. I told a friend today about my CPs and that helped. I hadn't really told anyone except my sister who is very clinical about the whole thing and sort of my mom. It's nice to have someone I can hug and let me get it out.

Emma- Im so sorry you are feeling yucky. You seem to have a good handle on it though! Your attitute is right- all worth it in the end :)

Shannon- excited to see what you are having! Otherwise, feeling good?

Steph- the journey is ridiculously emotional, keep your head up, that is why this board is so helpful- vent, vent, vent. We are all here thinking about you and know that it will all work out! Sending love and hugs!

Afm, blood work came back great! BABY GIRL is low risk for all the genetic tests they ran! Girl. Oh man- I'm screwed if she is anything like me! Lol- we are excited! 12 week scan on Wednesday!

Hey Ladies, so I tested Saturday and this morning with faint positives. Today my temp dropped significantly, so I'm concerned for another CP. But we'll see. I'm at a work thing so can't upload a picture, but if you guys have th or want me to text you the picture just pm me. I'm at my wits end.....

Emma - Glad you have some direction and a sounds like a great doctor to work with to help cope with the next 7 weeks. I know it's not what you had planned, but at least you now have time to prepare. You've got this girl and little man will be here before we know it!

Liz - Congratulations on baby girl!! How exciting! Good luck on Wednesday!

Steph - Any chance your temp today was off? I'm sorry if this is another CP and hope you can get in to see the RE soon to figure out why this is happening and formulate a plan for next time. You obviously have no issues in conceiving.

AFM - I think I've developed pregnancy related carpel tunnel in my right wrist/hand. I've had a hard time sleeping for the past week, my right arm keeps going numb from the elbow down into my hand when sleeping and it wakes me up. Doesn't seem to bother me other than when I'm sleeping, and I've tried every position and there doesn't seem to be one position that eases it. I'm going to have to try a wrist splint and see if that helps.

I slept pretty poorly last night, but I don't know if that was the reason. I posted on the FB group if you want to see any of the pictures. I used clear blue tests and I have one FRER that I could try and see. I think I'll temp again and if it's back up I'll test in the morning, if not I'll just wait for AF to show up. I'm pretty sure next month will be a bust too since I have to travel for work.

Steph - I see af arrived, I'm sorry. That stinks about work travel next cycle. Any plans to see the RE soon? Ugh, I hate this for you, wish I could help somehow.

Hi Liz and Emms - hope you both are doing well.

I had a really bad night Monday night with my arm, so I ended up getting a wrist splint yesterday and what a difference! I slept so good last night, no arm numbness and it felt SO GOOD to get some decent sleep. I couldn't believe what a difference it made. Needless to say I'll be wearing that thing to sleep for a while.

Hi ladies..

I said to myself I must send an update before falling into bed tonight! I’m just physically exhausted and emotionally drained every day :|

Steph - these CP’s really suck! It sounds like embryos try to attach but your body is cutting them off. Try to see the next cycle as a rest period to give yourself a little break while you need to travel and maybe see the RE when you get back. I really think starting the Heparin earlier in your cycle could help you. Sending big hugs your way.

Liz - massive congrats on baby girl and blood results. Very happy for you.

Oh no Shannon... my best friend had carpal tunnel with her second pregnancy and she was in a lot of pain. She also wore support to help her through it and it did wear off before the end of her pregnancy. I hope it doesn’t last long!
When is your next scan?

Thanks guys, I still haven't called yet but I will. I've been having pains around my ovaries on both sides this time which has me a little concerned as it's unusual. Not my typical cramping with AF. Should be done soon though and we'll just see how it goes and when I can get in to see the Dr. For now I'm doing our normal weekend routine of cleaning and keeping myself occupied. Hope you guys are doing something fun.

Hello ladies...

All drama on my side. Mia fell from the climbing frame in Kindergarten on Friday and she has broken her arm  We go back to the hospital tomorrow as she only has a temporary shoulder/arm brace on at the moment. Needless to say the last few days and nights haven’t been much fun and I’ve never felt so helpless.

Liz - what was the reason for your CS and what was your healing time afterwards? (Walking/moving around) Did you manage okay with BF after the Op and did your milk come in okay?

Shannon, how are you getting on?

Steph - please get checked out as soon as you get back. You’re the only one who knows when something doesn’t feel right!

I hope your weekends are going much better than mine!

Oh no Emma! Sorry to hear about Mia- always something.. best of luck with her healing!

I had a CS bc John's heart rate dropped and they wanted to get him out! I recovered very quickly. I was power walking 3 weeks after surgery. I started full on exercising at about 5 weeks. BF was no problem for me- my milk came in rather quickly (2 days) and we had no issues. I hope that makes you feel better! Everyone is different of course, but I am on the positive end of a CS :)

Hi ladies, how is everyone doing?

Mia is doing better and managing her pain really well. It comes and goes and seems to be worse at night time but sleeping is definitely better. We have two BH’s next week so Daddy is home for 5 days which is so refreshing :D

Shannon - how’s your arm doing? Do you have a scan soon.....???
