Ursula -- excellent idea! I'm also not sure of a great name. I'll ponder it though. We have two more pages to come up with a great one.

Fabel -- your flat sounds similar to mine in the UK. It never got very cold, but they didn't have insulation in my building (or most buildings where I lived). Bed dinners and drinks became a thing.

AFM -- I biked quite a bit today so no yoga for me. I'll do it tomorrow and Friday. My acupuncture appointment was similar to last time. He did electro-acupuncture and had a chat with me about things. I'm going again on Wednesday next week and then I'll have a week off since I'll be in the UK for about 10 days. I really, really hope that I O soon so that my trip doesn't cause us problems this month!

Crumpet - Enjoy the UK, I hope this weather cheers up for you and you get a fun 2ww.

Fabel - Yep I agree, it was a bit insensitive but I'm used to it! I'm just glad he is doing the tests and so it means I can be a bit more relaxed for the next couple of months knowing that I am doing all I can. Hope you are warming up!

Giving you all a massive boost of :babydustb: :babydustg: and really glad to be part of this lovely group

Great idea naming the thread. What about Babydust Buddies?

Forgot to add. Temp is still up. My guess is I will get crosshairs for O on Tuesday but I really think I O'd on Monday.

Ursula, I feel like to O'd on CD 25! keep temping. I think FF is waiting to see if your temp stays above that. I see a lot of your temps have the open circle, this could be why it's so rocky. Are you taking them at different times?

Andi, I don't sleep well. I temp after longest sleep which is usually from 10 pm till 2 or 3 am. So I generally take it within that hour but it varies since it is the middle of the night. My normal wake up time is 5 am. And I don't always fall asleep right away when I wake up at between 2 and 3 which is why I take it then. My cm and cramping/bloating stopped after cd 22 which is why I think I O'd ar cd 23 but if my temp us still up tomorrow I think I will get crosshairs for cd 24. Uggh lol Either way I am pretty sure I O'd.:)

Good! Stay positive. I totally understand the sleep issues. I drink a lot of water and need to get up once or twice during the night. I try to make myself go back to sleep if I wake up 3 hours or less before I intend to get up. Sometimes it doesn't work. Apparently tossing and turning can impact temps too. Its frustrating but do what you can across your various indicators. Sending you Babydust!

AFM -- not much is going on here. We've started BD-ing every day since I think I should O on or before
June 19th (CD14). DH is enjoying it but I think that he also feels a bit of pressure to perform even when he's tired. It should be easier to enjoy it over the weekend. I hope that my O arrives as expected. I've had faint lines on my OPKs since I started on CD7 but no marked increases yet. Crossing fingers.

How's everyone else doing?

Hi girls,

I like Babydust Buddies too. Thats a really cool name for this forum.

I see that some have O'ed or waiting for O. Good luck, girls.

Crumpet - have a nice trip. I guess DH is not going with you? In that case, I hope that you O soon.

An important update - We have two uninvited but now welcomed house guests ;) a pair of pigeons decided to built a nest on our balcony few days ago and have already laid an egg. As it is quite cold out there and I am overflowing with maternal instincts, we are letting them stay.... Very much looking forward to seeing some baby birds soon.

AFM, everything is normal here. Just the some post O symptoms i.e. tender bbs, occasional cramps and pinching feeling. Last cycle I read too much into these symptoms - then AF showed up. Its happening again, so I guess that is just my new normal. It is anyway too early for pregnancy symptoms.

Lots of babydust for everyone.

For the ladies doing acupuncture, is it expensive? Maybe it is something I should consider doing also.

Crumpet, my DH can get that way too. It is a definite balance between doing everything you can to catch that egg and not wear DH out at the same time.

Fabel, how cool on the pingeons! When you are TTC everything is a symtpom in the 2ww. Lol uggh the joys of the waiting game.

AFM, I finally got crosshairs on FF. This is my highest temp yet without any alcoholic beverage involved. Lol Hopefully they stay up. PD usually shows at 13dpo. So I may test at 12dpo so I can start progesterone supplements in the event I get a positive! Let the symptom checking begin! Lol

FF shows me O'ing 2 days after my fertile cm and cramping stopped so I still think it is a day off but I will go with it. I am positive I O'd despite my temps and have now read lots of conflicting information on temping and pcos. Even some stories of women not showing a thermal shift and getting a bfp! I guess anything is possible when it is your time!

Ursula -- I'm glad you finally got your crosshairs! Even if FF is off by a day or so, its good to have an estimate. And it sounds like its close to your own, which is good. I just started acupuncture and have been twice. My doctor was recommended by my OBGYN and he had great reviews on Yelp. He's about $100/session. Its expensive (for me at least). I live in an expensive city, however, which probably raises the price. I could find someone cheaper but I feel more comfortable with someone who has been recommended by my OBGYN and who has such strong ratings. Do you have Yelp reviews of acupuncturists where you live? If so, start there and call a few places. You can also see if any are affiliated with an IVF clinic. If so, I would count that as a recommendation. You can go to the doctor without being at the IVF clinic. So far, I like my acupuncture doctor. He and his wife are supportive. He spent a lot of time talking with me about my lab results and was both comforting and realistic. The acupuncture doesn't hurt. I tend to feel very relaxed afterwards and a little bit spacey.

Fabel -- we had a pigeon couple once when I was a teenager. My mother hated them (the cooed loudly every morning at breakfast). It was hilarious. Symptom-watching is crazy-making. Its hard not to do it though. Sending you baby dust.

AFM -- not much to tell here. BD-ing daily now. O should be this weekend. I hope so. DH is not going with me on my trip next week so I'd like to feel like we had our bases totally covered when I leave. I'm starting to look forward to the TWW now so I can take a rest. Hopefully I won't symptom watch as much as last time!

DarkAries - I'm so sorry for your loss. Sometimes when it rains, it pours. How are you holding up? It sounds like a good time to take it easy and relax.

Keriberi - I'm really glad you had a good experience with your specialist. That can make all the difference. As for OPKs, when I'm first starting out, I like to start them as soon as AF leaves and continue until I get a + so I'm sure not to miss my window. Then, once I've figured out the routine, I cut back on the next cycle. Also, I really like Babydust Buddies!

AndiA - Sorry about AF :(

Crumpet - I got about half of the video done before DD wasn't having it anymore and I had to stop. I liked the part that I did, though. It's good that you like your acupuncturist. I've thought about doing that, but I don't think DH would be on board. He doesn't really believe in it.

Ursula - I see your new siggy. And huzzah for CH!

fabel - I love when birds nest around my house! We have one bird that nests on our porch every year, but this year something happened to her eggs, so she left :( Hopefully we'll still see her next year.

AFM - I finally got a +OPK yesterday! I'm glad I didn't stop with them after my temp dip or I would have missed it. We got to BD yesterday morning, so I think timing is good, but we shall see if it did the trick. I had been hoping to take an HPT on my birthday (the 23rd) but now that's going to be too soon. Oh well. DH's birthday is on the 3rd, so it would be nice if I could give him a + for a gift. Wouldn't that be perfect? I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, but it's hard not to when presented with an opportunity like that.

Happy weekend everyone!

Kyrenora -- congrats on your +OPK. Its good to know that the active part of the cycle is over. I hope your TWW is mentally restful. I'm sure your yoga routine works wonders for helping you through it. The idea of presenting your DH with a BFP is wonderful. I'm hoping it works out for you this cycle. It sounds like you caught it well if you BD'd the morning of your +OPK.

AFM -- My OPKs are getting darker and I'm hoping for a + today. We've been BD-ing every day for the past few days. Its fun but we're looking forward to having our own schedule once again. I had a temperature dip this morning. My temps have been a bit up and down (FF decided it didn't like the fluctuations today). I haven't BBT'd before so I hope everything is okay with my temps. I don't know what my normal is yet.

Its a gorgeous day where I am. I hope all of you are having wonderful weekends. We have a few of us in the TWW already. Sending Babydust to all of you!

Hello everyone,

Sorry for being inactive for the last 2 days. It was long weekend here so we have been out and about, doing touristy stuff in Johannesburg. DH cannot sit at home for too long.

Ursula - Yes TWW is quite crazy. Every single f*rt seems like pregg symptom ;) Glad to hear that you finally got crosshairs. FX for your DPO12. Hoepfully, you get a BFP.

Kyrenora - Happy to hear that you got +OPK. BFP would really be a perfect present. I wanted to give the same present to my DH whose bday was on the 10th of June :( Did not happen. Hopefully, it will work out for you. FX for BFP.

Crumpet -Yeah pigeons can be quite annyoing. DH was also concerned but this couple is suprisingly quite. We are happy to have an expecting mama in our home ;) Although it is not me, but it still feels wonderful. Good luck with O and BD. I wish you get a + today.

EOE - Hope all is well. Wish you all a great weekend.

AFM, not much happening at 3-4 DPO. Except that my bbs hurt. While it is good to have tender bbs as a clear O symptom, but two weeks of painful bbs is no fun :(

I find myself symptom spotting but am keeping it under control ;)

Wish you all a nice weekend
