Loz - I think I don't know lol - I assumed hyperthyroid b/c i'm skinny. I am not certain if the elevated levels were TSH or t4 and t3. I think if my t4 and t3 levels were high, it would indicate hypothyroidism. It is hard to tell with the symptom lists which way it could go.
Phder - yes - I was in San Francisco --- and the surrounding areas :) work had me both north and south of the city, but I did a quick visit for dinner in the city with family. I'm so excited that your scan is coming up!! I'm sure things are starting to feel less stressful (well until you think about birth+ lol)
Danaa - we might be doing FET around the same time! I think my retrieval is going to be between August 6-10 (depending on how things go) and we are not doing the FET that month so I can get the testing done.
Amaura :hugs: I didn't get a longer LH from clomid - the only thing that does that is to take progesterone after O.
Nicky - I'm looking forward to your sandwich IUI!!! :)
Andi - bummer on AF - LP is considered normal if 10-16 days long. I get as short as 8 days so progesterone is an issue for me...

Danaa- I understand where you're coming from it's ok to feel a little off about him talking about it with out you. But it's good he is excited about it now! You're right he probably just told her because she has experience in it.

Loz - Glad you got some answers and your furbaby is doing well! FX for you this cycle!

Thanks for the input about LP ladies. I had googled and it said anything over 10 way ok. But it's always nice to hear from real people that it's ok lol. Counting down the days to this RE appt.

Amaura - How you doing? What day do you usually O? Latley I've been ovulating around CD 15-17. Maybe we will be true cycle buddies! =)

Hello everyone..

Danaa: Its def a lil upsetting about talking to someone without your knowledge.. but i agree with others. He is excited! For a long time, you both have struggled. And he might not have let it out. But with the recent developments, and the fact that your neighbor has experience in the field, it just lines up. Enjoy your anniversary gift and think about your twins!

Loz: Awesome news on your fur baby.. Yay for ovulation. I am fxing now for you this cycle.

Star: Thanks a bunch. I am eagerly awaiting for your procedure to start now. Would be so cool for you and Danna to get that BFP together..

Fly: Thanks a lot. Yup, good doctors are hard to find. 25th is nearing by.. scan scan scan!

Andi: Glad we could help calm some of those nerves. When is your appointment?? Good luck..

EOE, hello..

Hi everyone. Thank you for your comments. This cycle is just hitting harder than usual - probably because I am so confused by it. I think I got really excited by the spotting and it was just a really big let down to find out it was AF showing early. Still processing.

Andi - those are my typical o days as well. I think we will be cycle buddies :).

Phder - I'm so excited to hear about your scan!! I think girl too :).

Loz - I'm so glad he passed it and avoided surgery. Such good news! I'm glad you had some good news from your AMH :).

Fly - I think you must be right and that's what the nurse said too. Perhaps next month will be better.

Loz, Yay! I am so glad to hear that kitty will not need surgery! Glad you got your test results back. PCOS can mess things up (I also have it) but it is certainly possible to still conceive with it!

Star, I love San Francisco! I lived in Santa Rosa in Northern California for seven years and loved going to the city.

Nicky, I'm not getting a scan on the 25th, just visiting my new OB. I can't get another scan until week 20 unfortunately, so a little over 10 more weeks of waiting for that!

Amaura, clomid is great. I could never have conceived without it because I just did not ovulate at all. I am not sure why it worked the first month and then didn't for the following five cycles but I find it very interesting that the month we choose to skip clomid for a month is when we got our BFP. I still think it was because of the clomid. I have heard many, many women say they got their BFP on an off cycle of clomid. So if you do a few cycles and it's BFN, maybe something to consider trying?

OMG Danaa I love the "Keep Calm and Implant"! !!!!!!!

fly - nice! Northern Cali is beautiful --- just ridiculously expensive (and I'm not a fan of the traffic)
Amaura - AF chemicals tend to make me depressed and weepy so I have totally been there. I spent a year getting my hopes up thinking that I was pregnant each month and getting AF. I think I'm finally in a good place and ready for this IVF BFP :) (not saying you will require IVF, just that the hormones don't always hold sway!)

EOE - I hope you are having a great weekend -- be safe!

Danaa, That's the attitude you need to keep! XD It is not my choice to not get a 10 week scan. My OB told me that my insurance only pays for one and that they consider the one at the ER at 6 weeks to be that one whether or not I got to see anything or got pics doesn't matter to them. Maybe my new OB that I see on the 25th will hear this and want to ask my insurance for an authorization to do another, I can only hope! I'm not sure why I am not considered high-risk, maybe because that old OB of mine is a moron, lol.

Star, Southern Cali is really where the traffic is! And of course it's brutal on the GG Bridge, but where I lived traffic was not bad at all, beautiful weather, close to the coast and was not that expensive really.

We did our announcement today. Kind of early to announce, but we are just too excited to keep waiting and if something were to happen we wouldn't want it to be a secret, we would want support from family and friends anyway.

I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend! It is storming like crazy here in Georgia and making me sleepy, so I am off for a nap!

Hello.. sry, no personals today..i am horribly upset today.. first, i started with AF. Like its a big surprise. And then, now we arent sure if we will be able to do iui this cycle. Exactly in my fertile week, my in-laws are planning to be here, and then i have some work related travel as well. Though that will be mostly day trips, it still wont give me time in the day to visit doc! Uggghh. I am so irritated. My inlaws are aware that we may need help conceiving, but still make it a point to make negligient remarks. And i cant take an off from work. Its like universe is just conspiring something every month against our attempts at ttc.

Hey Courtney! How have you been hon?

I really haven't had much in the way of symptoms so I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. Either that or they are going to kick in later. I had a bit of nausea a couple of weeks ago but only a couple of times. My bb's aren't even that sore anymore, they were never super sore like I hear some women have to deal with. I'm hungry all the time and have put on about three pounds and gone up in bra size, but otherwise it has been very uneventful!

Nicky, I am so sorry to hear that your in laws are being insensitive. I hope there will still be a way for you to make the iui, but if not I hope next month will be less busy for you! I'm sorry sweetie! :(

Nicky, I'm so sorry about the remarks from the inlaws! It's hard when you get them from family that is suppose to be supportive! I get your frustration too! Something I tell myself that helps, is all in in good timing. I hope you can schedule the iui in this month but if not maybe next month will be less stressful and better timing?? Thinking of you! Hang in there!

Fly - glad you announced it!! Congrats!!

Question for you ladies... how do you make sure you dtd on the timing of your O?? I've been trying really hard to not make it "planned". Basically trying to not be like "we need to have sex now!" So when I get a positive OPK I would simply tell my hubs "got a positive" and he knew we needed to have sex that night. The only problem is, he thinks that means just that night... lately I'm finding i'm ovulating a couple days after my opks. My husband is in construction and works a lot of long weird hours and is sooo tired, I feel bad bugging him to dtd with me. I just feel like the the past two months we missed out on key timing because he's been falling asleep before we can get to it. I don't know how to approach it without making him feel bad. Help! I don't want to take the "fun" out of it. Any tips??? Sorry for the rant! I just never thought dtd would be an issue. *sigh*

Andi, is it possible to dtd in the morning before he goes to work? That's a toughie to work around. Maybe the other ladies will have some advice. If my dh was very tired and we knew we needed to baby dance then we would put some porn on lol, hey, it made things very quick and he was able to get to sleep in a reasonable amount of time. Another thing is that if he was tired I would do most of the work so he got to just lay there. Combine the adult movies with you on top and I am sure he won't mind the few extra minutes spent awake.

Andi - it is challenging to keep the sex easy and fun when TTC. I found that timing-wise, we have missed ideal dates because we just couldn't force it. However, one of the things that has worked to keep our sex great over this ridiculous length of time we've been ttc'ing is that my DH knows that when I get the +OPK, we want to do it every day for 3 days. He knows it and I know it. So I tell him I got the +OPK and we see if we can do it. I try not to stress him or me out over it. I think we've only managed once or twice to get 3 days of BDing. My DH can't really go 3 days straight. Our natural rhythm is once every 4 days or at least once a week (sometimes twice on weekends). like fly says, putting in a video sometimes helps. I found that when I had pushed too hard to make it happen, I ended up feeling hurt and resentful... and he couldn't make it happen. That f*cked with both our heads and so we had to figure out what we could do.

Fly, andi: Thanks a bunch ladies.. am feeling better now.

I got my ultrasound done today,( cd2) and report said, 6 follicles in left ovary, and 8 in right. Hvnt discussed yet with my doc, but the radiologist said it seems like normal antral follicle count. Also, there seems to be no cystic lesion in my left ovary, while the one in right doesnt even have a cystic characteristics anymore. Which, according to him was good news. I will get my hormonal results back tom, so will discuss with my doc. We are not getting iui in this cycle, but planning it for next one now. Hopefully, timing will be better..

Andi: Ttc can create that tense atmosphere. And when i tried too hard, i was just angry, and he couldnt do it. That just messes up things. So we decided to let it be. If we feel like, we do it. Or atleast try on alternate days if that's possible. Videos def help. Or we try to use different parts of the house to keep things spicy. Again, thank you for your support.

Fly: Thanks to you again as well for your support. Hugs..i am happy to hear that you are doing well. Nausea isnt pretty, and you sure are lucky. Yay!

Danaa: You must have reached romania.. enjoy

Star: Good to hear about your sorted plans for ivf. Fxed, u and danna are going to get those BFPs soon and together.

Courtney, how are you hun?

South, ttc, phder, amaura, fostermom, loz: I hope you ladies are doing great too..

Sry if i missed anyone..
