Hi wakasa!!

So glad to hear progress is being made on your house!! Moving is such a pain , thankfully this will be the final time for you guys!! That's exciting!!!

I love hearing how he's growing and changing!! Before you know it he will be walking and you'll be making memories in your beautiful new house!! :)

It was beautiful and so relaxing. It's a state park and we have been there plenty of times just never on that trail, we will definitely be going back!! I was so stuffy and sick that put a damper on things but it wasn't bad.

Any weekend plans??

Hi!

It sounds like a great place to and unwind! I would be going back, too!

No real plans here, how about you?

We put up a crib for our boy, and it's attached to our bed as a sidecar. It was supposed to make things easier during the night, but last night was pretty horrible. Samu woke up six times! I'm hoping tonight will be easier...

Have a great weekend!

Good evening!!

We had gymnastics and football today. The weather is cooling down, today is pretty chilly. It's a nice break from the heat but I don't like snow and it'll be here too soon lol.

Maybe after a few nights he will adjust and it will make things easier at night, hopefully anyways :) I hope things went better tonigh and you got some sleep.

I'm getting pms so af should be coming probably early next week.. I've got an insatiable appetite the last 2 days, it's ridiculous lol.

Dh is working this weekend so I'll have a quiet Sunday at home with the kiddos. We've been so busy I need a day at home to catch up. it'll be chilly so maybe I'll make some soup!! :)

Enjoy your Sunday!!

Hi!

We're having a really nice autumn/fall here: crisp, cool days and more sunshine than rain. :) I love fall when the leaves are changing color and snow is still nowhere to be found. :) The only trouble I'm having is deciding what clothing to put on the baby when we go outside for a walk - the sun is still a warming factor but the wind can be pretty cold.

I hope you had a great Sunday and now feel fully restored for this new week. :) Did you make any soup? I have a pumpkin waiting for its turn to get cooked, I already made soup from sweet potato, carrots, and lentils. :)

I feel pretty PMS-sy, too! I wonder if I'm getting my cycle back - I've had crampy feeling and I've been cranky, too. And don't get me started on how I've been eating all kinds of sweet and chocolate-y stuff, it's sickening. :(

Samu didn't do too well in the sidecar, so he's happily sleeping in between us in our bed. Maybe we'll try again sometime along the way. He's been rolling around more, and last night he seemed to be rehearsing it in his sleep. I didn't sleep that well because of it.

DH is slowly starting to spend more time with the baby, thank goodness! But it's still an ongoing thing between us, not seeing eye to eye on this. I hate that.

I hope you're having a great week! I'm dreading Samu's heart ultrasound appointment on Friday, both for what might come up (the doc could still find a murmur at the last checkup) and because it's so freaking early in the morning. We usually get up at the time we're supposed to be at the hospital...

Talk to you later!

Hi!

How's your weekend been? :)

We've been out shopping for / looking at furniture for the new house. We're basically redoing the whole living room and kitchen furniture. At first DH told me I could do the interior design as I saw fit but somehow he still manages to have an opinion about eveything... Men! ;)

Hi!!!

Wakasa that is great news!!!!! Everything is falling in to place, you guys had a bit of a bumpy start but it's all working itself out!!! I'm so glad Samu is well!!! :)

I'm sorry I've been missing. My dh has some health stuff going on, and we have all been sick :( my at home business has picked up and I've been running non stop with that too!

Hahaha my dh would have an opinion too lol, but he would probably give me the overall say but he would definitely be sure to voice his opinion lol :) you e got to be getting excited, you're getting close abdvthis is huge for you guys!! I'm so happy for you!!!

Af is here as I expected.. I'm going to donate all my meds to women who have no coverage and need to pay out of pocket for them, out of pocket is thousands and thousands of dollars, it's crazy how much these meds cost! That will free up a bunch of room in my fridge too.

How has everything else been? It sounds like everything is falling into place for you, I'm happy for you!!

It's really been a blessing to step back from ttc. I can see now how much it ruled my life and my relationship.. it's really been such a stress lift to let it go!! I'm still saddened that this couldn't happen for us but maybe one day we will get a surprise:)

Have a great week!!

Hi!

It's good to hear from you, Ckatta! :) I'm sorry to hear that your DH is having health problems and that you've been sick. I hope everything will get better soon. I forgot if you mentioned what your at home business is? I'm glad it's picking up! Good luck with it!

AF is such a witch! It's awesome that you're donating your meds for people who are less fortunate! I hope you'll be getting that surprise BFP soon- I believe that less stress will be good for you!

Everything seems to be going along on its own... No libido, still, and I'm starting to think that it won't be back until I no longer breastfeed the baby. DH has been a teeny tiny better about doing stuff with the baby, but it still seems like I do at least 90% of all things related to the baby. I am pretty tired but I decided to take it one day at a time.

There's still one health concern about Samu. He's had a bump/ bruise on his right cheek for a while now, and he will have an ultrasound for that on Oct 13, just to make sure that it's not malignant or anything. So, it feels like there's always something I need to be worried about. :(

Have a great week!

Good evening!!!

I sell essential oils and I also sell a natural skin care line from home! The extra income has been nice that's for sure !!

I have given up any hope that I will get my bfp, what does bother me is the why... we have 2 kids, what happened since then, you know? But I do think less stress and obsessing has been really good for not just me but us as a couple. Intimacy has gone back to random and bc we want to not bc we need to for ttc purposes.

My libido has diminished too. You are caring for an infant and doing a lot of it on your own, it's exhausting. Being exhausted, and feeling like you live for everyone but yourself isn't exactly turn on material lol. I think it's all normal , hormones and your whole being changes after pregnancy and birth. Maybe when you stop bf-ing and your hormones readjust it might come back.

I'm glad he's starting to do more, its nice to have the help! As a mother I get carrying the brunt of the work, it's exhausting. I still to this day do more for the kids than my husband does for them but the reward is that my kids are closer to me than they are him. Don't get me wrong they are close with him but their go to is me.

Oh my gosh Wakasa... I pray that all is well and it's nothing... the 13th will be here in no time and I pray you get good news!!!

Night! :)

Hi! :)

How do these days just go by in a blur??? :D

It does seem strange that it didn't happen the third time in such a long time ttc when you obviously had two successes before. You're not old enough to be menopausal, so what's up with that? I'm holding out hope for that bfp for you, thinking that no stress might be the key here. I'm glad your life has gone back to normal, in a sense, not having to be intimate just for ttc's sake. :)

I was planning on breastfeeding for quite a while, at least until he's a year old and maybe longer, you know, until he decides to wean himself. The WHO states that babies should be breasfed until they're 2 years old, and it makes sense in my book, because breastmilk is good for fighting infections (which you so easily get in daycare). The plan is (at least for now) to get started on solids when he's 6 months old and breastfeed him until he thinks he's had enough. The plan may change, of course, if there's no change in my libido and energy levels and if other issues rise. I'm hoping the bigger house will help with a lot of things - right now it feels like there's really no place to dtd in because this apartment is so tiny. Luckily, we should be able to start moving house late October - early November. :)

I hope the bump in Samu's cheek is nothing bad, but I try not to think about it because it'll drive me crazy.

Have a great weekend! :) I think DH was talking about going to IKEA to look for a couple pieces of furniture, so that'll be our big thing to do this weekend. :)

Morning!!!

I truly don't get it , they can't find anything that would be causing our issues. He corrected all hebthought was wrong when he did surgery, Maybe it's just not meant to be!!?,

I breastfed both of my kids until they were 1 or just a little over 1. You'll know when the time is appropriate for you and/or him to wean him off.
That's really awesome , the end of October will be here in no time at all!!!!!! Arebyou getting super excited?? I'm sure more space is going to be better, and you're still in the you son newborn stages too once he starts crawling/walking , sleeping on his own you'll get back into the swing of things with your libido.

When is samu's u/s again, it's coming up isn't it?? Has it improved at all?? I'm sure all is well :) i can imagine that thinking about it could drivebyiu crazy, but keep thinking positive thoughts!!

Did you make it to IKEA??

My son had his football tournament yesterday, we won the championship but my poor boy came home with a 101.5 fever, he's definitely sick :( I'm not quite sure what he's got going on but he's not throwing up or anything just can't keep his fever down , if he continues we will be heading to the pediatrician today!!

Have a great day!!! :)

Evening!!! :)

I don't get it, either! For sure it should've happened already! And that's why I'm going with the less stress idea!

I'm sorry to hear that your son is ill, I hope his fever has come down by now!

I'm getting super excited and also stressed out because I don't know how all of this stuff is going to be packed! I'm sitting here for 2+ hours while Samu is sleeping in my arms... This is not how stuff gets done, you know?

My mom is coming for a visit at the end of this month to help us out and to get away from people wanting to celebrate her 60th birthday. We're paying rent for November, too, so we have plenty of time to move house.

The ultrasound is on Thursday and we have his 5-month checkup and shots on Wednesday, and I'm not sure if the timing is good. What if he gets a fever or something and that'll make it harder for them to get the job done? We'll have to wait until Monday to get the results.

Yes, we did end up going to IKEA, and had lunch at a real restaurant afterwards, and Samu was on his best behavior all day. He slept in the car and we had no trouble at all. It was lovely! :) Today he's been pretty fussy, I think he may be teething...

Talk to you later, have a great week!

Hi!

Popped in to let you know that the ultrasound was inconclusive. A specialist took a look, as well, and said they need further examination. I'm not sure I like the sound of that.

We'll have to wait until Monday to hear what those tests might be, possibly an MRI.

Samu weighs a little over 9kg and is about 68cm tall. He's growing nicely along his own growth curve, the nurse said it's "textbook material". ;)

He's started rolling over a lot, yesterday he rolled over in bed in the morning and was pretty amazed when he woke up on his tummy. :D He's a happy baby!

Talk to you later!

Hi!!

Further testing isn't necessarily a bad thing, try not to worry. I know it's hard but Monday will be here before you know it and you'll know more about the next tests. They couldn't see anything on the ultrasound or what?? Did the specialist give any info besides he needs further testing??

I don't think it'll ever happen, I've pretty much given up the idea of starting over.. well actually I guess I have my days, most of the time I don't really want to start over but then yesterday I took an opk bc I was having a lot of discharge which isn't normal for me and it was just a hair shy of being positive so knowing my body it was probably positive last night then I'll probably o tonight or in the middle of the night but all chances are lost bc we haven't done the deed in a week... I felt that urge to want to try but it just didn't work out that way, another cycle down..

I can imagine the stress but somehow you'll manage to get it done and not know how youbdud it all lol. Especially with your moms help, you'll find the time and energy to get everything done:) little at a time as long as you have November too justvtry to make 1 trip a day and you'll be done in no time!!

Happy babies are good!!! I can't believe he's reaching these milestones already!!! Is he on any solids yet??

Any weekend plans?? We have a wedding tomorrow and my nieces birthday party Sunday. At some point I'm going to take my kiddos pumpkin picking too!!

Hi!

I hope you're having a great weekend! :) Wow, a wedding, a birthday party AND pumpkin picking! That's quite a lot for one weekend:)

The specialist said that he had no idea what it is except for the fact that it seems to have veins in/on it, and that extra tests are needed.

It'll happen if it's meant to be! In the meantime, continue living your life. :)

He's not on solids yet, I'm going to breastfeed exclusively until he's six months old. I'm sort of leaning towards baby-led weaning but DH wants to fed him, so we may opt for DH giving him puréed stuff and me letting him eat on his own :)

We didn't have any plans, ended up going to the house yesterday and today's just sort of gone by. It feels like there's a lot to be done at the house and I can't help wondering if it will be ready in two weeks! It's also hard to decide on some interior design features when it's not ready yet.

Have a great week!
