Oh my God girl!!!!!!!

:congrats:

That's so awesome Shannon. Yas. Lindsey, I'm not as fortunate, my cycles were wonky before and then after my MCs it stabilized and I'm so paranoid they'll be wonky again. I really hate having to take drugs to get it going, but we'll see.

Beta #3 today was not good, it went down to 123, so I'm to stop the progesterone and go back next Friday for a re-check to make sure the levels go down.

Do they think the progesterone might be causing the beta levels to drop? I always thought the progesterone was supposed to help....

Oh, I'm confused. Is there still a chance everything is ok, or does that beta drop mean a miscarriage is imminent? :(

Hello ladies!
It's been a while since I last actively participated in this thread - it was around half a year ago which was shortly after my stillbirth in 24th week of pregnancy.

After 10 full months I finally managed to get pregnant again...it took me 5 IUIs plus my first ever round of IVF and a frozen transfer...and here I am - I got my BFP last Saturday. I'm 4w4d today.
So I know it's very very early days and I don't dare to get too excited because I know that so much can still happen.

I had a bit of an emotional breakdown yesterday cause the very very strong symptoms (24/7 nausea, sore bbs, not being able to sleep, pain in hips, massive lower back pain) that I had for the first four days after I got my BFP last week have suddenly disappeared the day after my 2nd beta and I didn't have any symptoms whatsoever for the past 4 days. So I was convinced that something went wrong. Today I'm slightly nauseous again and had sharp pains in my bbs throughout the day, so I hope that is a good sign and it put me at ease.
I've got my 3rd beta on Monday and the first ultrasound on 10th of April.

So I wanted to get your advise on how you are/were dealing with the strong anxiety of a being pregnant again after a pregnancy loss? I'm just afraid the next 8 weeks are gonna drive me completely crazy until I'm in the "safe" zone (and what's worse - after my stillbirth I know there is no such thing as a "safe zone" after week 13 cause bad things can still happen :(((

Thank you so so much in advance!

Keep, how are you? Thinking of you, sweetheart. :hugs:

Hope, welcome back and congrats on your pregnancy! I had a lot of anxiety after I got pregnant following my miscarriage. The best advice I can give you is to just take it day by day and pray, pray, pray. Have faith that the One who brought thus sweet life into this world is going to watch over your sweet baby and everything is going to be ok! I was anxious my whole pregnancy, but my faith really helped a lot!

Keep us posted on you. XO

Hi Hope, and welcome back! Congrats on your pregnancy! I don't have much advice about anxiety during pregnancy, as I had panic attacks before every appointment during my pregnancy after the miscarriage :( . But when that pregnancy was successful, it made my current pregnancy a lot more stress-free. Just take it one day at a time. How was your last appointment?? How far along are you now?

Keep - So so sorry to hear about the miscarriage :( :hugs:
Will you be doing IVF again?

AFM:
I had an appointment last Thursday (at 35 weeks) before we went on vacation. I was having mild contractions and 1 cm dilated, so my gyno put me on magnesium, which has helped to slow everything down.
Our trip was lovely! It was a fun and relaxing last vacation just a family of three :)
