This 2nd time I spotted a bunch. As long as it isn't constant and red I wouldn't be worried yet. I spotted off and on for the first few weeks. We're you able to ask for any blood work?

Today I feel like crap, I have some sort of stomach bug. Hopefully this goes away quickly.

Star-Thanks!!! Hahaha I am praying it was just from a good time too ;) Here is my test from this morning. The pic was taken about 10 mins after doing it. I did notice it got darker over the next 2 hrs before I went to work.

I should have my first HCG results back any minute now.

I need to do some catching up----- but first yay HISTORY, wonderful news. Thats a beautiful dark line AND great levels!! Praying for a healthy pregnancy and calm nerves!

Lindsey -- I feel silly writing you a note when I have been texting you (and making you analyze my OPKs) all morning -- but thinking of you and crossing my fingers for October babies. I also don't believe you are nearing 40. I turned 34 last Friday which I also don't believe.

star-- I hope you are surviving without hubby. you are right, you are superwoman! and yay for a *probably* girl!! I love little girls. I know I am supposed to hope for the opposite gender with baby #2 but I love having a daughter so I would be 100 percent okay with another!

steph-- how are you feeling little mama??

mel-- I miss you, update us on how you are!

keep- thinking of you!

AFM: CD 16 here. my test is ALMOST positive so I think I will be getting a positive later today-- going to DTD tonight and tomorrow (and hopefully see a temp rise on Thursday ....which is good because I am leaving town for the weekend and was scared I would O late and miss my window! I whined to Lindsey about this already -- but does anyone else's husband act like its such a chore to have so much sex during fertile week? I mean, we have a decent amount of sex regularly-- but if I tell him it has to happen, he gets so grumpy about it-- I tried to wake him up for it this morning because my test was almost positive and he was whiney about it so I took a shower instead and packed our lunches haha. But I swear, if I wasn't fertile, he wouldn't be fighting me. I just want to to yell at him - I am taking pills, peeing on sticks, taking my temperature, charting, etc and you just have to show up so get over it. Maybe next month I won't tell him I am ovulating and instead will just initiate spontaneous sex. Anyways, TMI but thats my whine for today :). I guess there are far worse things that could be happening!

send me all your baby dust!

Katy-Thank you!!! I think your idea for next month is good as far as not telling him and just let it be spontaneous. Of course I can't say for sure, but maybe it is a mental thing for him, and it's hard for him to enjoy it as much if he feels pressure to get you pregnant. I have a super high sex drive during ovulation as I think most women tend to have naturally, so I think you'll be getting it on at the right times anyway ;) BUTTTTT Let's hope you don't have to worry about that next month. Here comes a bunch of baby dust and prayers!!!

Star- I'll keep everyone posted after I get the next results back tmr! Stay sticky baby!

Katy, thanks for asking. I'm back to normal today. I hate that awful feeling. Now I'm hoping we don't get the flu. Makes me super nervous, it's a bad one this year.

History, that is awesome. Hopefully your numbers double and all is well.

I have my next appointment Feb 12 and if all is well, we'll make it official. I'm going to have the blood work done that tells you genetic issues and gender and also have the US for baseline with the maternal fetal Drs. Ps the heparin is hurting so much more this time then I remembered. Oh well all worth it

Hope EOE is doing well :)

Stephanie-Glad you are feeling better, and I can't wait to hear how your next apt goes.

Here is the email I just received from the REI clinic. I'm still in shock I think!
Hi,

Your level is back and is now 1421, which is great! Congratulations! Once your level is over 2000, we should be able to determine if the pregnancy is in the uterus. We think that based on the current rate of rise, your hCG level should be over 2000 on Friday. Could you come in on Friday afternoon? We won't be able to see a baby at this point, but we should be able to determine that it is intrauterine. Let me know if Friday will work for you.

Along with your second pregnancy test, we routinely have your thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) level checked. Your TSH level was found to be 3.6. Though your TSH level is within normal limits, we like to keep it a little more tightly controlled in early pregnancy and prefer to see that level at 2.5 or below. Dr. Chow, one of our physicians would like to start you on a small dose of a medication called Synthroid to bring that level back down.

You can pick up this medication at the Madigan Pharmacy unless you prefer that it be ordered elsewhere. Ensure that you take your Synthroid at the same time every day, preferably 1/2 to 1 hour before breakfast to maintain constant hormone level and to help prevent insomnia. You should not take your Synthroid with your prenatal vitamin so if possible you should start taking your prenatal vitamin in the evening and your Synthroid in the morning. Notify us immediately if you have experience chest pain, heart palpitations, increased sweating, nervousness and shortness of breath.

I also asked Dr. Chow about supplementing with progesterone. He would not supplement until we can confirm that the pregnancy is in the uterus. It can be dangerous to you if we supplement an ectopic or tubal pregnancy because it can increase the chance of tubal rupture. You can ask him about it on Friday once we confirm the location of the pregnancy.

Let me know if you have any questions, I know I just give you a lot of information.

Talk to you soon,
Maureen Dewey, RN

Hi, all! It's been awhile since I've been on, but wanted to pop in to see how everyone is doing and saw Katie's note to update, so I thought I would see if I still remembered my password, lol. Guess I did!!

Looks like I've missed a lot!

Katie, so sorry for your early loss. That must be hard, no matter how early it was and I'm so sorry. Hoping you catch the eggie this time around and get your rainbow!!

Steph, huge congrats, friend!! How exciting your baby boy is going to be a big brother!

Lindsey...you rock. Having 2 very young kids and trying for another is amazing. I'm exhausted with my two and I can't imagine adding another right now. I hope you catch the eggie this month too!

Hello to the new ladies!! And congrats on the pregnancies!

AFM, nothing new to share here. I now have a 13 year old and a 3 year old. Can you believe Owen is 3 already?? For awhile after he was born, I REALLY wanted another, but I think I've made peace with just having 2 kids. Like I said above, I'm tired! Lol! I'll be 39 this summer, so I'm good with calling it quits on trying for more...MOST of the time. Sometimes I still wish we could try for a girl. But it passes! That's why I haven't really been on. I've been trying to make peace about bring done and I knew staying on here wouldn't help matters! Lol!

Hope everyone is doing well!!

8/12/14- It's another BOY!
DS2- Owen Lane arrived 1/2/2015 :baby tumble:

Will we have another?? Praying for God's will and following His direction for our lives. We shall see!

Hi ladies, checking in.

Mel- good to hear from you. We totally understood why you needed (and may still need) a break. I will be praying for peace. Please check in every now and then when you feel like it so we know how you are doing. I can't believe Owen is 3 and I really can't believe Mitchell is 13!!! Both such handsome boys, I love following them on insta

Steph-- hope you are feeling well mama. Still praying for a healthy pregnancy

History-- great numbers!! keep us posted. I take progesterone in pregnancies, but never knew it was a risk in ectopic. I will ask my doctors about that! I haven't had an ectopic but I definitely would want to be careful.

Lindsey-- getting close to go time for you!

AFM: CD 18 - and I think I ovulated last night. Slight temp rise and negative OPK today. Unlike last month where I had very clear painful ovulation, last night I did not feel it at all. We BD-ed on ovulation day and the day before -- and three and five days before-- so technically 4 times in the "fertile window" and 2 times when it really counts. Do you remember a few years back when pre-kids when there were times some of us would BD like 8 days in a row? With a toddler, that is NOT happening haha. So I was quite proud of my active few days haha

so now I wait-- any tips on helping implantation? I am going to start progesterone and bromeliene I think (going to GNC to buy some at lunch)

also, strange question - but do any of you ladies get really bloated during ovulation? I was a few pounds heavier this week and at Zumba last night, I looked at my belly in the mirror and I looked 3 months preggo. So swollen. oh and sore boobs.....it most be ovulation! I think I am a little less puffy today after some hot lemon water but yep, so bloated yesterday!

Mel-Hi and thanks for the congrats!!!

Katy-Yeah ask your doctor. That's why I posted the whole email just in case. I feel like everyone needs to know if they are on it, ask their own docs, and do their own research of course. Oh and YESSSS--I get so bloated and look pregnant during ovulation. I believe it is because our bodies produce more progesterone once an egg is released to help further build the uterine lining for pregnancy(so using your progesterone cream right now might help with implantation). If the egg doesn't get fertilized the progesterone goes back down and that is when bloating will start to calm down. I'm not a doc, but I am obsessed with his area of medicine, and do a lot of research haha. FX for you!!! One of my first symptoms every time I get pregnant is the bloating doesn't go away, and I look 3 months pregnant at 4 weeks!!

Baby G is in the right place and measuring 5w 2d!!! They said it was up to me if I wanted to do the progesterone suppositories, so I said yes if it won't hurt anything I want to cover all my bases. Picking them up tonight. Next US in in 2 weeks on the 9th.

Hope everyone is doing well!
