Lindsey how exciting!!!!!

History, I was told you can't always tell since the clitoris is engorged and can look like a penis, but good luck.

20 weeks next week and I go for my US in Thursday. Just found out my friend may be having a miscarriage. She went for an US today and no hb was found. She goes back next week, but they think the baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. I'm hopping that this isn't the case. I feel so bad for her.

LIndsey--- YAY for baby 3!! I know I have already told you but CONGRATS, excited to be pregnant with you!

Steph- oh no, something we ALL can relate to! Praying for your sweet friend, for comfort, and hopefully that baby is okay. And for a rainbow baby soon if not. Its such a hard road to walk! Do you have a name yet?

Shannon- no name?? HURRRY girl kidding, kidding. We dont agree on names either so whereas first kiddo had a name before we even knew her gender-- this kid may be named a week after he or she is born. I suppose after we know gender we will get down to more name discussion. Also 2 week ago I met someone else with a Calvary -- a little girl. I told her I only know of one other Calvary, your son!

AFM: will be 7 weeks this weekend. Nausea has hit but so far, its still mild, not as bad as with my daughter.....but holy moly, food aversions. I packed saltines and a banana to take to work today because everything else at my house sounded AWFUL. I think I am going to smoothie king at lunch and getting a protein fruit smoothie. A smoothie is the only thing that sounds good right now. The strange thing with this kiddo is my aversions change. Like earlier this week, I was craving beef (never wanted meet with AD during first trimester) so I finally got a burger and today, the thought of beef or any meat makes me feel sick haha. Oh the joys of first trimester-- worth it, but a bit of a roller coaster!

Our first ultrasound is at 7.5 weeks next week and I am eager and anxious to see that heartbeat.

Happy Easter to those that celebrate! or happy passover! My husband may have to go out of town for a funeral so there is a chance its just me and daughter for church, egg hunting and lunch. IN which case, we are going OUT TO EAT. Mama aint cooking for 1.5 people haha.

Katy, you're so funny! I actually don't think I had many food aversions. Although my body definitely has reacted differently this time then with Kevin. I had my gallbladder removed in 2010 and since then eggs were like a big no no. Pregnant with Kevin, it was all I wanted, and I had no problems. This one...eggs are not my fan. So weird. I have an US next week too. I can't believe I'm pretty much 20 weeks, where does the time go??

As for my friend, yes we all know what its like, hopefully we get good news.

Ultrasound Wednesday. Would appreciate good thoughts and prayers (if you're religious like me!)

Nausea/Food aversions hit for a couple days last week and has now mostly disappeared so I am anxious. I still have other pregnancy symptoms-- dry mouth (I never had dry mouth with my daughter, I don't think), swollen sore boobs, pulling, etc. And I do wake up a little nauseous- but it is like a "need to eat now" nausea. My food aversions have calmed down-- can eat most things, just not salads and anything too spicy etc. After a hard pregnancy, I should be grateful that I don't feel too badly this time, but you ladies know how it is, after loss, anything abnormal makes you worry. At least sickness is comforting, albeit miserable! So, I am looking forward to seeing a healthy heartbeat!

And of course, I am just 7 weeks- so intense sickness could hit tomorrow haha. I should just be grateful :)

Thinking of all you ladies this week!

Stephanie-20 weeks!!! Yay for half way there :) it is funny how the days a weeks go by so slow, but looking back it's like wow that was pretty fast! Hope we can say that for the third trimester haha. Any updates from your friend? Praying for her and baby!

Katy-So sorry you been having the food aversions! I really want that to stop all together for you, but then again it sounds like it brings you reassurance, and I know how that is. So, I just pray the rest of the first trimester goes by fast for you, and I am praying for your US and that all is well. I am also praying God will give you peace while you wait.

AFM-We had such a wonderful Easter, and I hope you all did as well :) IT'S A BOY!!!!! We are so excited. ESPECIALLY my DH haha.

Congrats History! Boys are awesome!! :)

Katy - I totally understand how it feels after losses, but sometimes in subsequent pregnancies, your body just adapts to the hormones better. :hb:

AFM - feeling good, but the fatigue is hitting me hard around 11am. I do my best to make sure both kids are napping around then so that mama can get a nap too! It's how I am making it the rest of the day haha.

Hi EOE! Hope you are all well!

Lindsey, Did you get your energy back with your 2nd pregnancy? I feel like I'm still dragging. I maybe have a little bit more, but I definitely hit a wall at 2pm every day.

History, congrats on the boy, boys are awesome. I love my little guy and he is a mommas boy.

Katy, I believe everything will be great tomorrow at your US. I wouldn't worry about the nausea either. My 1st I had none to very little. This one I had some more, but really not a whole lot. It could just be your body reacting differently with hormones this time around. Keep us posted about the US.

Has anyone heard from Shannon? I know she was due around now, wondering if she had her little guy.

Next US is Thursday morning. I can't wait to see this little babe again. :)

Sms - I felt pretty good all second tri as long as I got a nap ... that was possible with one little one but it won't be with 2 lol. I didn't really feel miserable until about 37 weeks, when no position for sleeping was working and I ended up in the recliner to try to sleep because our memory foam mattress somehow killed my hips. That being said, you will definitely get a second wind at 32 weeks or so where you are hardcore nesting and want to clean all the things and organize all the things. I remember being on my hands and knees scrubbing underneath the kitchen cabinets, that space between them and the floor lol. I haven't even given it a second thought since that day, but it HAD to be done RIGHT THEN, you know? :) Post your US pic when you get it!

Katy - can't wait to hear how your US goes!

quick update-- US went well. saw the heartbeat and baby seems to be measuring about a day or two ahead so right on point!! Doctor says of course she can't claim anything for sure since life is not predictable but that this pregnancy looks healthy and viable. According to Ramzi theory, Baby looks like it is a boy, so we shall see. Morning sickness has kicked in but not quite as bad as with my daughter, at least not yet! I find that if I eat some processed not good for you food earlier on (like cereal or crackers), I can usually settle my stomach enough to get some real food in later in the day. Yesterday I ate 2 huge bowls of cheerios-- but by dinner, I felt well enough to eat chicken and cauliflower. I am tired, but usually still have enough energy to get a small workout in, although last night I just curled up in bed early and watched TV-- sometimes you have to take a break! And although I am less tired/sick than last pregnancy, the combo of pregnancy plus toddler is hard ha.

Looking forward to hearing from Shannon!

Steph- excited for your next US-- and you too Lindsey!!

Hey Ladies!

Everything went well today. Baby is definitely a girl, haha. I don't know why I was nervous that it wasn't, but US confirmed girl. Also she's measuring about a week ahead. She's an active little thing and I can feel her a lot. She's also head down, which is good except that she's pushing on my bladder which makes me feel like I need to pee all the time.

As for my friend, she has her scan today. She didn't seem optimistic, but we'll see. I told her to call me because obviously I know what it's like.

Katy, I was so glad to hear everything looked well. When do you go back again? Lindsey you're up next :) I go back every 4 weeks for a scan and then every week at 32 weeks, so we'll get to see her progression.

SMS - she is beautiful!

Katy - yay for healthy baby! ;)

My first OB appointment is April 19, I am fairly certain I won't get a scan then (I will be 7 weeks) but sometime after that I hope. This OB doesn't do many scans - I know I get one at 12 weeks and the anatomy scan, but not sure about an early one. I will DEFINITELY be asking for one. :)

Steph -- what pretty pics. I think we all worry (or at least I do) that the scan will tell us a different gender after the Lindsey incident of 2015 hahaha -- boy turned girl. I made my poor tech show me the vagina like 5 times with Anne Douglas just to be sure! Thinking of your friend!

Lindsey - yay for your first appointment! Keep us posted

shannon- update on baby's arrival?? We can't wait to hear and see pics

EOE-- hey ladies!

AFM: 8 weeks and feeling it. Cheerios is a food group, right? Nausea and fatigue but not as bad as with AD so I am grateful and hoping it stays that way. But, still, wanting all the processed bad for you carbs. I find if I start my day with a big bowl of processed cereal or crackers, etc, usually I can eat a little healthier as the day goes on. But, still, very few veggies right now...and very little meat haha

My next scan at Dr won't be til 20 weeks which is strange to me. My last doctor did one at 7-8 and 12 and 20 (and again at 22 for me since baby wasn't cooperating on showing her heart) then at 32/36 maybe to measure size? This doctor doesn't do as many ultrasounds and I am okay with that but didn't realize and I was sad because I wanted to see baby at 12 weeks! BUT, we plan on paying for an elective ultrasound at 14ish weeks to determine gender, so just 6 more weeks til I see baby again!

I am debating VBAC v. scheduled section. My doctor has a 90 percent success rate for VBAC so I am in good hands if I try....but she also does the more gentle c sections so thats an option too. I just don't want a long failed labor turned section again and I am scared of that happening if I try for vbac. Its still 30+ weeks away so no decisions needed yet!
