Hey ladies,

These past few weeks have been crazy. So this past Tuesday Kevin had a fever again. Turns out his ears weren't getting better, so he's on a stronger antibiotic. The fever went on and off for two days, then he ended up with a rash, so I was back in to see the pediatrician just in case it had to do with the new medicine. She thinks it was just Roseola, but it's been so frustrating with him not getting better. Plus he's been sleeping awful, up like every two hrs. To top it off I'm fighting a cold, for what feels like 3 weeks. This weekend we drove to my moms on Long Island for a friends wedding, it was nice, but I would have loved just relaxing at home. So exhausted.

Sept, I don't know how you've waited so long!

Blinken that's so awesome on the scans!

Hope the rest of you ladies are doing well.

Hi ladies! Popping in quick, we did an egg retrieval today and got 2 eggs! As far as I know they both looked good and are frozen. We tried a different protocol this time, a microdose flare with tamoxifen and dexamethasone, then added a low dose of hcg starting day 9. We had 3 follicles, but one wasn't a functional follicle. We have a follow up next Monday and our hope is to try another egg retrieval next cycle using the same protocol to get a couple more eggs and if all works out then go ahead and do a transfer. My lining looked good again this cycle.

Blinken- love the scan and so happy to see all is well!!

Sept- please tell me you've told your coworkers

Steph - I'm so sorry Kevin has been having a tough time, poor little guy! I hope he's feeling better :hugs:

Hi Mel!!

Tried a new browser and seems to be working....
Sms poor you and Kevin! Hope you are both getting better!
Keep that is great you got 2 eggs retrieved. If you go for transfer would you make it before Christmas or after. Answering your question I told the immediate dept I am working in but still haven't told other colleagues  The ones I told had no idea and there was a lot of screeching and noise coming from our offices haha. I will hopefully tell a few others this afternoon and then let them spread the word lol.

Happy Veterans Day to those in the US! And happy Friday to all!

Sept - yay you finally spilled the news! I'm sure that's a huge weight off your shoulders! I'll know more after our appointment with the RE Monday morning, but we are hoping we can be ready and get it done the first week in December. It will depend on his schedule and whether my body decides to cooperate. We have 4 eggs now, so we need to discuss with him his thoughts on whether we should try to get more or just go ahead with a transfer. I'm leaning towards trying to get more eggs, the more the better chance that at least one is good!

Steph - How's Kevin doing? Are you getting a routine down with work?

Lindsey - How are things going?

Mel - How's little Owen doing? I bet he's getting so big!

Hi EOE! Hope everyone has a great weekend! We have been so busy these last few weeks going out of town every weekend, it will be nice to be home and get some stuff done around the house. We have a football game Saturday and a baby shower after, but Sunday is ALL OURS

Wednesday I decided it was time to move Kevin out of our room. So far so good. I think it's been easier for me to get more sleep and for him to have more room. He's feeling much better, other then the antibiotics are just giving him such bad diarrhea thankfully today was the last day of that. We go back on Tuesday for a check up and I'm hoping the ear infections are gone. I can't believe in 10 days he'll already be 4 mos. Where does the time go?

Sept, still think it's so crazy you haven't told everyone.

Keep, I hope everything goes well on Monday, can't wait to hear what the plan is for you girl. I hope you get your rainbow soon!

How's everyone else? I'm looking forward to a quietish weekend of getting stuff done around the house.

Sept - still waiting on that bump pic from you!! :P Also, very surprised that those you have told didn't even seem to notice the growing belly! hahaha

Keep - Yay for two eggs!! Are you going to try and retrieve more? When do you think the transfer will be??

Steph - Wow, already in his own room! Was it difficult moving him? I moved Kian at 6 months, and felt sad for the first few days not having him in the room with me. But everyone gets much more sleep this way!
Hope Kevin's ear infection has totally cleared! Let us know :)

Yesterday was veterans day in the US, but also Remembrance Day in Canada - we wear poppies to remember the soldiers that died for us in the first world war.

AFM:
My dad left last Weds, and since then it's been very quiet, back to just me and the little one. I've shared the news now with family members and close friends, and contacted work that I won't be returning next summer. No other major news yet.

Blinken, I was just telling my mom I had no problem moving him into his own room. I didn't freak out or need to check on him a million times. I even said is it weird I felt that way? I love my son and enjoyed him being in our room, I just feel like I'm sleeping so much better now we're in separate rooms. He doesn't seemed phased by being in the crib either. That was my biggest worry since he'd been in the rock n play and loved motion, but it seems like he's had no trouble sleeping in his crib. Now if he would just let me sleep longer that would be perfect, haha.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is doing well.

Keep, that's so great about your egg retrieval! Eek! You know I am always rooting for you but this news just sends me over the top. Can't wait to see how all this progresses.

Sept, how exciting you finally spilled the beans to some of your co-workers. I'm with Kendra...can't believe they didn't notice!

Kendra, beautiful ultrasound pics of your little one, can't wait to find out if it is a boy or girl. Were you team green with your son?

Steph, that's great news that you have moved Kevin to his own room and that the transition went well for you both. My boys both always slept better on their own too.

Ace, Lindsey...how are you ladies?

AFM, wow...just chasing Owen all over. He has learned to climb and this kid is into EVERYTHING. I gave him a bath and turned around for just a moment to find him playing in the toilet, then after I cleaned him up, I found him in another bathroom splashing in THAT toilet. Ugh...so I clean him up again and as I'm cleaning up the toilet water from the floor, I look over to see that he has opened the dryer door and taken the lint trap out. Not only that, but he has tried to eat the lint. All this in a 15 minute span,

Good news is that he seems to be interested in potty training. He's 22 months now and has already peed in the potty twice. I'm hoping this trend continues!
