Postby BethH » Sun Mar 12, 2017 5:59 am

Sassa, Nikki, Nicksy, Mom, Sunshine, Veronica, LittleOwl this is our new spot :)

Also Nikki something I forgot to say in my other post. I am really glad I don't have any ICs in the house. The way things are going I probably won't test this cycle (remember I said I wouldn't test until Friday ;) ) and it's nice not to squint at tests this time.

So much love for all of you ladies! It would be great if we all ended up having due dates close to one another!

Good Morning Beautiful Mommies to Be
Wow we have been busy thread #3!

I completely think I may have been over reacting I didn't know this colour is common at the end of menstruation because I've never experienced it aside from the one time I told you Ladies about. I googled myself to sleep last night lol. No cramps this morning no more of that disgusting spotting so I'm a happy girl :)

Omygoodness st. paddys day has turned out to be a busy one! Mom still wins with her gender reveal, I am sooo excited only five days!

I'm really nervous/excited about my appointment with the fertility specialist. I still can't believe that it went from late June to next week :)

That's great about you having your 3 day scan on st paddys day too Beth, should make for a busy day on our thread.

This cycle seems to be moving fast for me, I'm already cd 7. Woohoo last cycle dragged! Good for you for not testing Beth I'm glad you're happy not testing, I'm the opposite I'm completely happy to be early testing again.

Takes the boredom and nervousness out of the tww for me. I'm sure it helps that I'm easily amused.

Ahh well ntm else to report hope everyone is having a great weekend! Eek, I can't wait until this Friday.

Busy thread indeed! It will be so fun to hear about your appointment!

I'm looking forward to seeing how my OPKs match up to my serum LH levels during this monitoring process.

DH is nervous for his part of it, having to "produce a sample". I can't go with him to ... help, because I have to work.

I'm also a big nervous for my HSG, I hear it's quite painful? I'll be sure to take a couple of Advil ahead of time.

Sassa: I agree - it probably won't be long until I go back to early testing as well. I'm going to need to order more OPKs for this next cycle... they usually come with a few HCG strips so I will be tempted.
So happy this cycle is going quickly for you! Maybe this will be the one! We're approaching the divide between 2017/2018 babies pretty soon I think.

as for my spotting, it's still brownish sort of liquid. I am always so hopeful it will stop or slow down, or miraculously AF won't come. This will be 16 cycles. I've read the BFP stories with spotting so many times hahaha

Beth don't psych yourself up for the hsg, it's really not that bad. I tensed up in anticipation of lots of pain and it was uncomfortable and I had some minor cramping/pinching when the dr had to push harder to clear the one tube. I took two Tylenol before my appointment as directed by the sheet the office gave me. It is mostly awkward for me, being in a room with like 4 people with my hooha exposed and I freaking HATE those damn heavy, cold metal things that open up your cervix. They are so uncomfortable and make me nervous. Haha! They should be able to tell you preliminary results while you're in the room and then after another dr (prob a radiologist) looks closely at the X-rays they'll call with results. Some women get pregnant the same cycle - like a few days later. Mine was the following. I still credit the hsg greatly, I wonder if the tube that wasn't blocked has issues dropping eggs so my one good side was blocked and unable of carrying a fertilized egg...? Who knows. To answer your question, I have a cake ordered inside which will be a layer of pink or blue icing. So we'll cut the cake in front of everyone and reveal the gender. DH and I won't even know before the cake though, the US tech will seal the gender in an envelope and I'll deliver to the baker that afternoon.

There were many posts since I logged out last night so I'm trying to recall what I read...

Sassa I had the black brown gross stuff often last year as well, don't think it's bad. Just gross! You know, I feel like my periods have always ended with that for as long as I can remember. I'd have full-force heavy bleeding from day 1 then it would slowly back off until the very dark stuff and I've always had a full 7 days of bleeding.

Thanks for your words of encouragement Mom, I guess I should get used to several people looking at my hoohah in this process!! I'll try my best to be zen about the whole thing.
Love your gender reveal idea :)

Hey I'm here ladies and suffering bad on CD2...but they say pain let's you know you're alive so I'll take that!

Beth as Mom said don't get too worked up about the hsg. Mine was a bit uncomfortable but nothing I couldn't handle. I didn't take any pain meds before but I do suggest taking some to help with minor cramping afterwards.

Sas do you have some questions written down for the specialist? I am so excited for you getting some answers and can't wait for your update!

Mom not only can I not wait for your gender reveal, I wish you could send me a piece of that cake! I loooove cake!

Nicky how are you love?

Of course not much to report on my end...just getting ready to start the evil Clomid tomorrow and hoping the mood swings don't affect me too much while we're in Cali for df bday!

Jealous you'll be in cali Nikki! I've never been, my mom does a lot of work on cal prop 65 with her company though so she's always in Seattle and cali. Some day we'll join her on a business trip! I've heard it's beautiful and the last time my mom went they stopped by rodondo beach and took videos of the sea lions sun bathing and barking and they also went whale watching and saw a whole big whale family! Have fun!! And, if I could share the cake I would ;)

Have fun in California, Nikki! Soak up some sun and eat lots of delicious food!!
Thanks for your advice about the HSG ladies, I'll be sure to take some Advil before I go in. It'll be exciting to get more information!!
This is going to be such an exciting week! We're all about a week off from one another.
AFM I'm just waiting for AF to show up so we can get on to the next cycle! I ordered more OPKs and some HCG strips as well. If AF doesn't come by Friday for some reason then I will test. But honestly I think she'll be here tomorrow or Tuesday.

Hello ladies! Hope daylight savings isn't throwing you all for a loop!
Still spotting. AF is teasing me as always. Should be here for her brief stay tomorrow. I'm really curious to learn 1. If I actually ovulate 2. If my lining is ok 3. The results of DH's SA.
really trying to be positive today!!

Beth I can't remember what day you go for your appointment? Also-- to ease your mind a touch, I am about 95% sure that if you get a period you are ovulating, which is why some people wth pcos/endo have reeeeeewally long cycles, because you won't bleed until the egg has made its debut. Since you have "regular" bleeding every month you're probably good for ovulation. I had similar worries when I realized I'd spot for a few days or have the gross tar-like bleeding at the end.

Sometimes I feel bad for updating on bump stuff because I don't want to make anyone feel upset...I am SO sorry if anyone ever feels crummy when I do. With that, I waned to share that this morning (around 3 am-bleh) I could feel some serious movement in my lower abdomen/uterus. I have felt what I thought to be the babe for the last couple of weeks but it was still very faint and gas bubble like so I wasn't positive. Today after going to the bathroom and laying down on my back again I felt some strong bumps so I put my hand over where they were and when they stopped I pushed in a little bit and then the bean pushed me back! I wanted to badly to wake DH up to put his hand on my stomach, I let him sleep though. I was trying to make sure I could actually feel a little nudge with my hand before waking him too. I think I could feel a little rumble with my hand, it's tough to tel though bc since I can feel it on the inside I'm not sure if I'm imagining that I can feel it on the outside..? Is it Sunday yet? I want to know who's pushing me back.

I hope all you ladies are doing well

I am trying to rest and relax...cd3 and once again I'm feeling optimistic about the next cycle...I'm a dreamer..I'm so ready for my trip, I'm going to take my ttc woes to the beach and leave them there...I should be O'ng the week after and I'm planning on making it as less stressful as I can.

Mom: you are so sweet to think of that but honestly, I LOVE UPDATES! I am so happy for you and your family.
What an amazing thing. You are growing a tiny human and that human and you were playing paddy cake! Honestly, do not feel bad with your updates. Share more more more!
And you're probably right, it will be so interesting to get more information.
As for my follow up:
Basically once my period comes we start a diagnostic monitoring cycle. So I go in sometime between Day 3-5 for and ultrasound and blood work - they told me this would let me know how many follicles, like potential eggs, are brewing. And then I go back starting day 10 for daily ultrasounds and blood work. Basically my body should be working on a few of the follicles to mature and then hopefully one will ovulate. At some point they'll also do an HSG. So it's several mornings for me to go in for testing. The monitoring department runs from 7am to 830am and it's first come first serve. I've been warned there can be quite the line up! It makes me anxious to be sitting in a crowd so I may show up at 7:15 and wait my turn.
DH has his SA on Wednesday. Then we meet with our doctor April 6th to go over everything with the doctor.

Nikki: I love your optimism, I am glad to know you, one day soon we'll have our beautiful babes :) I hope the Clomid crazies stay away and that you have a wonderful trip! It's snowing where I am now, but I live in Ontario so I can't complain!!!

How is everyone else doing???????

Hi ladies..

Beth- I'm sure you're noth excited and anxious to begin testing!! It's one step closer to getting our little miracles! Let us know how everything goes.. My DH is supposed to get his SA this week as well. He's totally been putting it off. I also plan to get an HSG done within the next week or two. Has AF arrived for you yet?

I had what I hoped was an implantation dip on 10 DPO. Today I'm 12 DPO and tested with FMU using a WONDFO. I thought I saw something within the time limit, but it was super faint and wouldn't come up in the pics I took. Once it dried after 30 min or so, it was darker... Do you see it?

PS- the line is easier to see on a phone vs computer

Yesterday (11 DPO) I had two pin pricks worth of blood in my CM when I checked my cervix. Today I have more pink/orange spotting (which I usually get before AF comes) but not a lot at all. AF is due Wednesday on 3/15. What do you ladies think? Do you think my temp should be higher if I was in fact pregnant? I hope daylight savings didn't mess with my temps!
