Nikki, we're all here for you. This journey seems like an endless battle sometimes. It's so hard not to get discouraged.
We've all been trying for this much longer than many women and it seems unfair at times.
I'm grateful to have found a group of women who understands what this feels like.

The group is a little quiet these days, and I think that's a reflection of where many of us are at in this journey. I myself am tired of seeing BFNs, but I am working really hard to be optimistic and positive.

I'd love to hear updates from everyone :)

Mom - I hope that you continue to update us on your beautiful pregnancy and on your little boy :) I personally find it encouraging to hear how things are going for you :)

Sassa, Sunshine, Nicksy, Nikki - I am praying 2018 will be our year! There are some BFPs coming, I know it.

Hello ladies - quick update. I've gone in on CD5, 7, 9 for labs & ultrasounds. Things are looking good. They're able to track the follicles growing and my hormones are in normal ranges. I'll be going back again tomorrow. I'm starting to get a lot of bruises from all the pokes. It's all worth it though. Once they are confident that I am close to ovulating they're going to tell me and DH to BD and then they'll bring me back the next day to make sure. I'll get progesterone suppositories this cycle as well.
Thinking of all of you, hope you're doing well :)

Hey Beth!! I'm glad all is going well with the visits!! Keep us updated and let us know how the next one goes!

Hey Eoe!!! I miss y'all!!

As for me I'm cd4 and still a bit depressed. I dread O time and possibly having to go through all this again. It's getting harder and harder to put a smile on my face. I'm on the highest dosage of Clomid this cycle (150mg) and I've had extremely aching ovaries/uterus and I'm majorly irriatable. I'm trying so hard to fight this. I'm praying that once O time gets here I'll be feeling better.

It's great to hear good news Beth :) so happy they are being a little more diligent with your monitoring this cycle and progesterone sounds like a great plan :)

I am so hopeful for you!

Nikki I completely understand how you're feeling I think I'm finding myself in a similar situation. Keep the hope beautiful it will be your time soon :)

For myself nothing really new I haven't been temping this cycle after two super positive opks and spontaneity in the bedroom that just happened to coincide with the positive opks my husband had to leave for work so if that wasn't O he won't be back until after lmao like a crazy person I sill woke up and took a hpt, in case cycle day 5-6 was O and today would be 6dpo still to early but it's all I have left lol and honestly seeing bfn doesn't even phase me anymore if I ever see a bfp I will probably have to dig it out of the bin, from throwing so many bfps straight in there ahhhhh! Maybe one day :)

Sassa - FX'd you caught that egg and that you will see a BFP this cycle :)
Nikki - I think it's good to fully experience the emotions, negative or positive. I bottled a lot of shame and self doubt inside for many months before joining these boards and it was not good for my health. Let's hope the highest dose of Clomid does it! Does your doctor know that you have two chemicals?
Sunshine how are you?
Mom how about you?
AFM, went for bloods & ultrasound this morning, waiting for the clinic to call and tell me what the next step is. The woman doing the ultrasound hinted that she didn't think I would ovulate early this month. So I'm hoping I get a few days off. I'm not temping & I'm not using OPKs this cycle. I figure I'm spending all this time going in for ultrasounds that there's no point.

Update: my estrogen levels are creeping up and I have two follicles growing on the left which is good. Biggest one is 14.7mm and my estrogen almost doubled overnight. I think they're meant to be bigger (18 - 24mm) before ovulation so we'll see. Back tomorrow again! Basically once my Estrogen reaches a certain level then my LH (what we measure with our pee sticks) will surge & hopefully I ovulate..

Hello ladies - quick update: the clinic called and told me that I "am ovulating now" - 18mm follicle on the left & my LH doubled from yesterday. We came home and BD'd right away. I go back tomorrow to confirm & they will give me progesterone to take.
If this cycle is BFN we will take a break for May & June. We are moving & I will be out of town a bit.
I'll post a picture of an OPK for curiosities sake but it's been nice not doing them.

Beth, good luck! And food plan on the mental health months!!

I am currently horrified because my daughter just opened mouth and inserted foot with our incredibly sweet 40-something neighbors who adore children. I've always wondered secretly if they tried and couldn't have kids bc they're so great with them, love our DD and the girl down the street, came to our gender reveal, give DD little surprises, etc. so she was playing a new game she picked up at school where she says "truth, date, double dare, repeat" and the wife was playing along first couple times were inoocent silly questions. Then she says "have you ever thought about having children?" (MORTIFIED!) I quickly said "you can't ask people that, that's not a polite question, I'm so sorry" the wife answered "yes, but we're too old now". I so hope they just chose not to have kids and it wasn't an issue of infertility or miscarriages, they're seriously the nicest people we know.

Oh dear! Honestly, if they are the nicest people you know then they probably won't be phased by a child being curious. They know she wasn't trying to be rude or hurtful. My mother tells me I used to say all sorts of rude questions when I was a kid. I once (apparently) asked a family friend why she wears a necklace if it just gets stuck under her fat neck.

I'm sure they understand Mom!!!! Kids are inquisitive and just can't help it sometimes...it'll be ok!!!

Beth I'm so excited for you!!! You're making great progress!!
To answer your question: my specialist knows about my first chemical but not this second suspected one. I do have an appt Wednesday though and I'll be sure to bring it up!!

Sas, Sunshine, Nicky, Veronica how are all you ladies?!

Oh my goodness Beth! That is both funny and horrifying...kids... I just felt bad bc we really like them and I didn't want her to feel awkward or offended. She kind of ran inside after that. I don't know any times I said something that bad but once my great uncle Melvin asked me (about 1.5-2 yrs old) if I could talk yet and I looked him square in the eye and said "no, I don't talk". Lol! My family still brings that up to me! My older sister once apparently asked a woman in line at Wendy's why she was so fat. My mom just scooped her up and bolted. DD faux pas wasn't too bad, just more of an emotional question knowing how crummy it felt to have people ask me all the time when DH and I would have more babies while we were trying--they're obviously not trying now but if they did and it never worked out I don't know how they feel now about those questions, ya know? Humph, nothing I can do about it, I talked to her about how that question and questions about why someone is not dating/married are personal and better left unasked. She felt bad and understands why it wasn't polite once I asked her to recall how upset I was when we weren't getting pregnant before. I think she gets it.

I am sure your daughter is a kind and considerate child, because her Momma certainly is a very kind woman! You're doing great :)

Update* I woke up this morning & thought, hmm my boobs don't hurt, I am probably not ovulating yet... the lab just called, my Estrogen went from 767 to 1200 and my LH from 15 to 24, so I am still surging! also that trans vaginal ultrasound was really uncomfortable today. Anyway, that means I go back tomorrow! yet again! I'm so grateful to have access to this care, I'm not sure it will change anything this cycle but it's nice to get the complete picture.

That's awesome Beth!! Transvaginals are super awkward and uncomfortable for sure. FX they tell you right when to baby dance and you catch an egg this cycle!!!
