Sunshine, you just never know. Don't get too excited to avoid a let down but maybe try to just go with the flow, relax, enjoy not needing the cup yet. Fingers crossed so hard this is implantation.

Thanks mom for the warm welcome back!! Ultrasound was perfect so we're moving on!

Ugh guys. Pregnancy announcements are so hard. I just saw 2 today. One girl has 3 kids and she's like joking like "maybe we're done, maybe not!" Oh like it's so easy for you. Great, flaunt that. The other has 1 under 2 and she's a year younger than me. Why is everyone so fertile? I'm never going to have that moment of looking at a pregnancy test and liking the result. I've long stopped thinking about what my pregnancy announcement will be. It all seems very pointless.

I don't think I have it in me to stay super positive like so many of you ladies!

Nikki! Happy to hear that your ultrasound went well!
Sunshine, I am sorry. This journey is really hard. I'm pretty close to giving up myself. We're all here for you. Feel free to vent anytime.
Nicksy STICK BEAN STICK!!!!
Mom - you're getting so close to delivering! I can't wait to see that little guy!
I am sorry I have been super MIA. I am having a difficult time at work, I won't elaborate further but right now I am not really focused on ttc. My spotting has already started for the month. Our appointment with our new specialist is on August 3rd but due to some extenuating life circumstances I don't think I am ready to move forward. I feel pressure to be aggressive and move onto meds/iui/ivf soon otherwise I'll never have the chance to be pregnant. But I am not sure that now is the right time.

Sunshine I'm so sorry you're having a difficult time emotionally right now. It can't be really tough to see that while ttc, don't give up hope though, not until you've exhausted your options. People who have never had to try to get pregnant don't understand that their jokes about extreme fertility can be damaging to others, try to remember that woman isn't trying to hurt you. *hugs

Beth, thanks, getting antsy these days.

I've just hit the point where it takes actual effort to do literally anything requiring body movement. Lol. I took DD to the pool yesterday and had to nearly roll out of the lounge chair to stand up! Same goes for bed, couch, etc.
There comes a day when sleeping is near impossible and you get up to pee 15 times a night. I had an OB apt Friday and she did an internal exam--OUCH--she was quite aggressive, shoving on the top of my belly to push the baby down, she was pushing him down to check if he was head-down. He is, thank goodness. I hope he's also not sunny-side up! (Face up). I'm 1 cm dialated but still "pretty thick" as far as effacement goes. After that I had some pretty intense bleeding Friday night and Saturday and became a little worried but it has pretty much stopped. Lots of discharge today, sometimes a tiny tinge of brownish blood there but that's normal after internals I guess. I think I may be losing my mucus plug currently. Talk about a nasty part of the journey!!! It looks like a giant booger that comes out of your vagina!! I had a tiny blob of boogery goo tonight after wiping, almost like EWCM but yellowish. I'm not looking forward to seeing more of that, I googles pics and sometimes a huge blob comes out and it's SO GROSS looking. Gaaaaag. I don't remember this with DD, it doesn't always come out before labor though.

Anyhoo, I'm very excited for you girls moving forward with your testing and or procedures and I wish baby dust on all <3

Hope all is well with you ladies!

Finally got my diagnosis.... it's not unexplained infertility, it's Diminished Ovarian Reserve. My fears were confirmed. Doc recommended we go straight to IVF but I had some questions about IUI first. We are leaning towards IVF for the sheer fact that the chances were better (she said 40% for me) and that we could possibly, hopefully, get embryos to freeze for the future.

It sounded so... grim, I guess, as she was talking to me about it. Like sorry, on any given day you have a 2% chance of getting pregnant, a 6% chance with IUI and a 40-60%, but more like 40% with IVF.

I'm trying to stay positive, there wasn't a 0% chance, so nothing is impossible. It is what it is.

Right now I feel positive - we will make this work somehow, someway. Tomorrow I may feel worse, but there's reasons to be hopeful, I guess.

I pray that your positivity and IVF will bring your baby home to you!! Nothing is impossible love and there's couples with way worse diagnoses that have conceived! I'll be praying for you!!

Sunshine: I am sending you and your husband lots of positive vibes. I too have read many stories with women who have been diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. You will get there. It will happen. You will have a child. I believe it will happen for you.

Mom: That internal examination doesn't sound fun. How are you now?? Amy contractions yet?

Sunshine: Its a good thing that you can have chances with IVF. Fxed, an intervention is all there between you and your baby.

Beth, Nikki: Hoping you girls are doing well too.

AFM, i am coasting off for this month. Will be going for FET next cycle. Expecting AF around mid Aug, so FET towards aug end/sep beginning. My doc wanted to give body a rest time before any transfer..

Nikki that is so exciting!!! Can't wait for the next two weeks to go by so we can hear FX!!

Nickysy so exciting, just around the corner for your next step! Take it easy and recoop a little before then.

AFM, I've been having contractions for months (literally, like the last 4.5-5) but they aren't painful so I kind of dismiss them. Doctor just says "make sure your pee is clear bc it's so hot out. If they aren't painful you're probably just dehydrated". Girls. I drink probably 100+ ounces of water a day. No joke. I pee ALL THE TIME. Lol. Anywho, dr didn't check my cervix Friday, she gave me a week off after that intense one. I go back Thursday and I'll be 38 weeks then. She did say the baby might get to 8lbs by birth! Our nieces were all barely 6lbs so for DH family he wil seem large. Lol! My evil SIL is actually not as horrendous lately, we had to see her both days this weekend and she was more talkative and less rude, thank goodness. Her oldest who is 3 decided she was comfortable and started asking me questions about the baby, that was cute. She asked if I was having one or two and if we have clothes for him yet, then what was on his clothes. Lol. She later told me "oh, he's just adorable" and pointed to my belly. Too cute!

Hi all! Hope it's going well!

Thanks for all of the positive words! This has been a real life-changer for me. It opened my eyes to what's really in my heart, you know. I know it deep down that I'm meant to be a mom and I'll get there.

Then I realized. I have kids... I'm back from my cheer national competition and those perfect little faces of those perfect little kids are so important to me. It my mental struggles with this whole baby thing I almost quit what is so near and dear to my heart. One of my teams came in second. I was literally bursting with pride :)

Anyway, I'm NOT happy with the doctor I have. I asked her a bunch of questions and I didn't like any of the answers. They were very confusing and almost contradictory! She won't use injectables because of the increased risk of multiples, but I have 2% chance of getting pregnant on my own and a 39% of IVF working. Soo injectables are going to work SO GOOD on me I'll have 3 kids at once? It just seems so odd. I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around it. We might just do an IUI this next cycle to make it to our appointment at another fertility clinic and then possibly be able to choose where we do IVF. I'm just dumbfounded at the lack of clarity you get on this journey. A journey for sure!

Good luck to all of you!

Sunshine- bleh! Sounds like you definitely need a new doc!!! That made such a differnece for us, I really don't think I'd be where I am if I hadn't taken matters into my own hands and gone around my last OB to get the names of good fertility specialists. Just like with any doctor I'm sure there are good ones and bad ones. I love my current OB, she's kind and understanding and answers all questions to the best of her ability and will let me know at my next appointment if I had a questions she couldn't answer on the spot. I hope you find someone better at your next appointment!

Perhaps this will make you ladies laugh-- DH and I were goofing off after dinner just being silly and making each other laugh. Anyways, he made me laugh so hard I was crying, then PEEING. I'm so embarrassed lol! Well, maybe not embarrassed bc we're super open with one another and I tell him everything but he laughed so hard at me. He was like "look DD your mom just laugh-peed her pants!" Haha!!
Not only do I pee when I laugh, I pee when I sneeze or cough. Lmao. I need some depends at this point. I literally always need to pee so I'm never safe from accidents ;)
